Watching half of our fellow Americans accept and engage in such irrational behavior (not to mention sometimes hysterically enforce it, as myriad social media videos attest) not only depresses the rest of us; it frightens us. That more than half of our country willingly obeys completely irrational orders raises the question: What irrational orders from the state would they not obey?
Well, I sort of disagree in part because I could not care less if someone wants to or believes that they are protecting themselves by wearing a mask. It’s America, wear a mask if you want to! I do sort of laugh when I see someone in a car by themselves with a mask on though.
Convince them it’s for the “greater good” and there is very little they won’t do.
The Nazis convinced a significant number of Germans that eliminating Jews was for the greater good.
Masks are both an IQ test and reverse yellow piece of cloth (the latter an irony on multiple levels).
More so than the bumper stickers.
As good as a uniform.
If accepted by the public (and so far it has been), a large part of the medical community will never remove the mask.
Let’s say you’re a brain surgeon. Unlike a GP, your patients are referrals and usually not long term.
You love the work, but there is always the terrible emotional toll of breaking bad news.
Fortunately, there is now a solution. You’ll never have to see the anguish, there’s a distance now between you and the patients. You don’t even have to hug them.
Why would you ever want to practice medicine again without one?
I call BS on his outline. It’s not just masks.
The video portends what is to come, particularly in grocery stores.
If you’re out with your family, know your exits - there is ALWAYS a back door through the kitchen/warehouse - and have a plan.

I agree with that 100%. But I will say something, your business, your rules. Want me to wear a mask in your store, I will and if I don’t want to I’ll just shop somewhere else.

The mask mania has been a disaster for human relationships, even including the most casual ones. The checkers at the supermarket no long chat about the weather; in fact, most public places on mask areas are creepily silent. And I can’t imagine what this is doing to children, who have to spend the day in total silence.
I hope somebody - that being the people behind this - pays dearly for this cruelty someday.
A new Rasmussen poll shows that HUGE numbers of Leftist Democrats want to see unvaccinated Americans stripped of their basic human rights:

58% of Democrats want the government to FINE Americans who do not get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Last week, the Salt Lake Tribune called for the military to imprison the unvaccinated in their own homes… ensuring they would “not be allowed, well, anywhere.” (And that’s in Utah… one of the most conservative states in America.)

I agree - but these people also get to vote. That’s my worry.
I am in Spain at the moment and the number of people out in the middle of absolutely nowhere wearing masks is ridiculous. They aren’t keeping their mouths warm, given how hot it is here. That’s the excuse used in the UK where it’s still cold.
Maybe this whole covid shot/mask thing is really just a dry first run for the “mark of the beast” to come...

Our local paper constantly has Karens posting in the opinion section about how kids should be masked, how people should be masked if we care; and how evil right-wingers are killing people.
It’s a sickness.
