Dr. Anthony Fauci is “strongly” warning against hugging and kissing your friends and loved ones on New Year’s Eve this year. Fauci also told people to avoid large gatherings during the White House COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday. “If your plans are to go to a 40- to 50-person New Year’s Eve party with all the bells and whistles and everybody hugging and kissing and wishing each other a happy new year, I would strongly recommend that this year we do not do that,” Fauci said.

Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams sounded off on the push to pass voting rights legislation on Wednesday. Abrams told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that expanding voting rights “is not about partisanship.” Instead, she asserted it “is about patriotism.” “I’m working very closely with members of the U.S. Senate to ensure that they both understand the urgency of the moment but that we recognize the complications of the structure of the Senate,” Abrams outlined. “And that’s why we need to frame this as restoration of the Senate. This is not about breaking tradition. It is about protecting the fundamentals of our...

"Most patients I’ve seen that had 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna still had ‘mild’ symptoms, but more than those who had received a third dose. More fatigued. More fever. More coughing. A little more miserable overall. But no shortness of breath. No difficulty breathing. Mostly fine," he said. For those who just had the one shot of the J&J vaccine and never took a booster, the situation isn't as good. "Most patients I’ve seen that had one dose of J&J and had Covid were worse overall. Felt horrible. Fever for a few days (or more). Weak, tired. Some shortness of breath...

Marissa Selvig, a candidate for Wyoming’s U.S. House seat in 2022, announced Monday that she will be campaigning as a member of the Constitution Party and leaving the Republican Primary. snip The standing theory is that the more Republican candidates join the field, the easier it will be for Cheney to win, because candidates do not need a majority, only a plurality. With Selvig out of the primary, Hageman’s chances should be better in theory. snip “[Cheney] is so low that her only chance would be if vast numbers of people run against her which, hopefully, won’t happen,” he said...

Only approved journalism, thank you! That appears to be Twitter’s logic behind suspending Just the News founder John Solomon for 12 hours. Solomon bashed the censorship as “outrageous and unfair.” Just the News released a statement Dec. 28 noting that Solomon was suspended from the leftist Big Tech platform “for sharing an article about the legal distinctions between Pfizer's fully approved and emergency use authorization (EUA) COVID-19 vaccines.” The distinction “could affect the legality of vaccine mandates.” Twitter slapped the article Solomon attempted to share with a “Warning: this link may be unsafe” label and propagandized that it “could lead...

“They mutated, become worse. It’s entertainment for them.” Now, investigators are exploring the possibility that a violent cell that had pistol-whipped and fired shots during a streak of robberies over the past two months is now even more dangerous. Just two weeks ago, the same source told us, “It’s a pretty quick trip from firing into the air and beating someone with a pistol to shooting someone in the leg, or worse.” But the hold-up activity stopped after one of those vehicles slammed head-on into a CPD unit on the West Side. But none of the car’s occupants were charged...

Remember back in the halcyon days of 2019 when the Democrats impeached then-President Donald Trump over the dubious claim he offered the president of Ukraine a quid pro quo in which military funding would be exchanged for an investigation of Hunter Biden’s time with Burisma? If that whole kerfuffle feels like it took place two decades ago, it’s probably because a) it was a (pardon the pun) trumped-up excuse for an impeachment and b) Joe Biden seems to have mentally aged two decades in just two years. Oh, and that pandemic thing, too. That might have had something to do...

Just air fry them at 380 or 390 degrees for about 15 minutes total and you will have an incredibly tasty snack that both I and Ray Eppstein enjoy.

The Biden administration will wait until 2022 to sign contracts for the highly in-demand 500 million coronavirus test kits, according to White House coronavirus coordinator Jeff Zients. After not acting on his promise to order enough testing kits ahead of the omicron variant, the White House has still not executed the purchase order for 500 million testing kits that Biden announced American taxpayers would purchase last week, Reuters reported. “I’ve ordered half a billion of the … test kits that are going to be available to be sent to every home in America if anybody wants them,” Biden told ABC...

Republican gains among Hispanics in Reading mirror those in other parts of the country, but Democrats think they still have important advantages with this growing demographic!READING, Pa.—Joseph Nuñez at first didn’t like Donald Trump. “I couldn’t stand the guy. I didn’t like the way he spoke about Hispanics or people in general,” he said. But by 2020, Mr. Nuñez had become a fan of Mr. Trump’s style and priorities, and he voted in favor of giving the president a second term. So did many other Latino voters in this working-class city who had once backed Democrats or, like Mr. Nuñez,...
