Before venturing into a New York hospital, listen to this message from triple-vaxed Nurse Brittney.
Check out the TikTok video here
(and yes, she IS a nurse)
What is the message? I don’t want to download tictoc
Unless I have a bone stickin out and blood spurting I tend to avoid them as general rule.
If you need to do CPR you ain’t got time to don your PPE. That’s like putting your makeup on when the house is on fire. Save life now; worry about germs later.
She’s a nurse who has tested positive for Wuhan after three shots. She’s under quarantine for at least five days, but has been told she can go back to work at the hospital. She cannot go to a restaurant, buy gas, shop for groceries, but she can treat patients. In fact she was told that she can go back to work before five days if her hospital says it’s ok.

Friend of mine got covid in Dec of last year. She now has cancer but they can’t give her chemo until they get rid of the hept c, she got while on a vent while she had covid.
OMG!
Prayers for her.
Yes, I’ll be avoiding hospitals as well
That was my first thought when they came out with the 5 days.
The message is:
1. A nurse testing positive for COVID can go back to work after five days of quarantine as long as he or she doesn’t have a disruptive cough and wears an N95 mask
2. That nurse cannot stop at the grocery store, gas station, bank, etc. going to or from work.
3. That nurses kids have to quarantine TEN days.
4. That COVID recovering nurse can administer CPR to a non-COVID patient as long as the nurse wears PPE. If the patient is in cardiac arrest, does the nurse stand by and wait for another nurse? Pause to don PPE? How to do mouth-to-mouth with an N95?
Bottom line. NYS is nuts. The new Governor is nuts. And probably all of these rules and regs are simply not enforceable.
you don’t have to download anything.
the 3-vaxxed nurse with covid is being told to go back to work to care for patients. click on link. watch to video. listen to what she said. won’t kill ya.
Retired R.N. No other business puts pressure on sick employees to return to work like a hospital. I spent forty two years in the ICU and O.R. I have seen doctors and nurses collapse in the parking lots, hallways, in surgery. I’ve seen them start IV’s on staff and give them a liter of LR just to get them through a shift. In 2012 I had H1N1 and couldn’t comb my hair, yet after calling in sick, they called me back and asked if I could come in and do just a couple of cases. Then they have the nerve to put up cute signs saying don’t come into work if you’re sick. I have seen nurses work so sick they had to hold onto the railings walking down the halls. One time we were all so sick we took our temperatures and the one with the highest temp got to go home. I don’t miss that at all. It’s tough enough to be sick and feel you’re letting the team done, without them guilting you to come in so they don’t have to close an O.R. room. It’s always the dollar.
I laughed yesterday when the doc spoke of the hospital I laughed and laughed and laughed. Then wiping a tear from the corner of my eye II asked him what fecking moron would willingly subject themselves to a NY hospital?
Nobody’s doing mouth to mouth anymore, especially in a hospital
I was in a hurry..and grabbed her up by her collars....I messed up. She flipped over and twisted my arm in the collars...Bit the tar out of my wrist...She was grinding on bone....I was yelping...and she flipped again..and I was un-caught. She ran home...I was bleeding badly...near my Ulnar Artery.
Got home..and applied pressure and cleaned it up...I stayed home and treated it. If I was to go to the Hosp...they would have reported it to the P.D. And my dog was in trouble...and it was my fault...I healed perfectly fine. Got the scars to prove it....
I have BagMask Unit's in my cars.....
Over the years...I've come across some bad wrecks....never had to do CPR..thank God.
The thing is that New York’s virus rate is so high now that they’ll soon have real herd immunity.
It may look stupid to us (trying to spread the virus as quickly as possible), but it very well may end the nightmare for them prior to most of the country.
No more mouth-to-mouth? That takes all the fun out of saving somebody’s life!
