"Days after President Biden publicly promised to provide 500 million free at-home rapid COVID-19 tests, his administration has still not signed any contracts — leading experts to deride it as nothing but a “hope.” The president has already been accused of being caught unprepared when he announced the vague plans for a testing spree only on Tuesday, two years into the pandemic. Now the New York Times has revealed that contracts have yet to be signed, and are unlikely to be until next week at the earliest — with the eventual rollout of his promise potentially taking months after that....

During his marathon annual year-end press conference Q&A, which this year lasted about four hours, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again vowed to defend Russian society against the intrusion of the corrupted values of the West, in particular blasting the “gender obscurantism” pushed by the United States and Europe. “I am a proponent of the traditional approach that a woman is a woman and a man is a man,” Putin laid out, which it goes without saying also reflects basic Biology 101 and humans’ self-understanding for thousands upon thousands of years. He continued in the remarks on gender: “A mother...

A study posted on the preprint site medRxiv shows that Covid mRNA injections are causing immune system dysregulation, a breakdown of immune system processes. In other words, researchers are finding that the injections reprogram not only your adaptive immune system, but the innate immune system as well. It’s this feature that is probably causing the resurgences of viral infections and adverse events with the Covid injections. What this means for children, as health care decision makers push for them to get the injections, is that their innate systems — which are naturally very strong — may be challenged to the point...

A doctor in the A&E department in Australia revealed that those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 are dying in huge numbers. To protect his identity for fear of possible retaliation by Australian public health authorities and other government entities, the doctor’s face and voice had to be obscured. A record number of Democrats say they approve of socialism, even as Americans overall remain steadfast in their opposition. A record-high 65 percent of Democrats tell the Gallup polling organization they have a positive view of socialism, a drastic increase over the 53 percent who said the same in 2010. Gallup has conducted six polls since 2010 asking Americans if they have a positive or negative view of small business, free enterprise, capitalism, “big business,” socialism and the federal government. Gallup’s 2021 poll found 60 percent of Americans approving of capitalism and 38 percent approving of socialism. That figure has...

Five hundred and eighty one days ago, I wrote a column that appeared in these pages with a headline on the cover that read “It Needs To End. NOW.” In May 2020 there were no COVID vaccines, and limited treatments, and yet already, many voices had begun to call out the excessive illiberal measures enacted by gubernatorial despots in our bluest states. A year and a half later, the results are in. The critics of lockdowns were right... Insidious rules... Quarantine rules make for a stealth lockdown, with visitors and workers out for more than a week if they happen...

This past week, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad was the latest victim of the West’s cancel culture, as she was disinvited from a book event by Canada’s Toronto District School Board. Alongside colonialism, imperialism, and nation-building, “cancel culture” is the latest of toxic Western ideas to be foisted upon the Middle East.
