NOW.” In May 2020 there were no COVID vaccines, and limited treatments, and yet already, many voices had begun to call out the excessive illiberal measures enacted by gubernatorial despots in our bluest states. A year and a half later, the results are in. The critics of lockdowns were right...
Insidious rules...
Quarantine rules make for a stealth lockdown, with visitors and workers out for more than a week if they happen to be near someone who had COVID. Mask rules that still make no sense — wear it coming through the door, but take it off at the table. Our kids outdoors, masked, distanced school lunches look like something out of a prisoner of war film....
Emergency’s over
This is not an emergency anymore. Emergencies don’t last two years. The science tells us we should be sweeping away the bureaucratic tangle of contradictory and confusing rules and regulations that strangle our society. Even Democrat Jared Polis, governor of Colorado, acknowledged this last week in a rare outbreak of nonpartisan common sense.
And yet, New York’s leaders are doing the exact opposite, clamping down once again on the city that has borne the harshest brunt of the pandemic. Yes, de Blasio and Hochul have said no more lockdowns, but they will push it as far as their political polling figures will allow.

How about this?
It doesn’t matter what anyone does about it. Wear a mask or don’t wear one. Get injected or don’t get injected.
The virus doesn’t care.
The charts are startling. Huge spike in the spring of 2020, down to low death numbers in summer. The blogs were full of talk about the end of the pandemic.
Then winter in the northern hemisphere and an explosion of deaths. All over the world, an explosion of deaths right after declarations of . . . it’s all over.
Down comes the death count. Long before vax totals were significant. People were punching the air and celebrating how the vax was crushing death count. But a careful examination of the death curve showed no change in slope. Vax totals were increasing but the slope did not change.
It leveled out in the summer at about 200 dead/day. And then headed back up. More and more and more people were vaxed, especially among the elderly that were the bulk of the dead.
Didn’t matter, August and September nudging 2000 dead/day.
Then down, and again wackos were saying the vax is finally kicking in. And now, the death curve has turned back up. Omicron, Delta, doesn’t matter. Dead is dead. We have upticks.
And along with the upticks we have articles about how “Omicron will create herd immunity!!!”, or maybe “Omicron is more gentle, milder symptoms!!”. You would think people would learn.
The deaths are increasing. Peak days during the week 1800ish. It doesn’t matter what political policy is. The virus doesn’t care.
If people are sick waiting for a test they’re going to get everyone else sick. lol
One problem with this head line, ITS NOT A MISTAKE ITS DELIBERATE
There is NO covid pandemic. There a pandemic of the people who took the Clot Shots!!

I have a heartfelt suggestion for you, because I really care; go cover yourself with bubblewrap, and sit in your bedroom closet...someone will feed you, I’m sure, and take care of all your bodily needs...
Outdoor transmission is fairly rare. It seems to me if one is feeling bad and they are standing around outside for 4 hours in 30 degree temps, they are going to get sicker whether they have Covid or not.
Who thinks that these legions of petty tyrants want this to end?

There are no mistakes, dearie.. They know EXACTLY what they’re doing to us.
Folks ought to look up the basic rates of death for each year, say, back to 2015…
Those rates have gone DOWN.
People just die; nobody gets out of it.
This never was a pandemic.
You can find 65+ Excess Death data easily online. Sharply up 2020 and 2021 vs pre Covid years.
Hard to figure out what a “basic rate of death” is. Life expectancy declined last year due to Covid and the ongoing explosion of opioids. I actually don’t see how that number declined because 600K isn’t enough to move it, but 600K plus opioids . . . maybe.
If you do the studying you’ll find the at the primary mechanism for improved life expectancy is reduction in infant deaths, though last year LE dropped and no sign infants died more.
Hit the Excess Deaths page. It’s the gold standard.
Anyone thinking this was ever medical in nature fails political science 101.
This was about control. The communists in China had Wuhan and Hong Kong in revolt and used this as a means to get rid of the protestors. Our liberals found they could get rid of Trump rallies and voting in person.
BTW, what happened to the ‘Delta variant’?? It went away overnight. No media coverage. Nothing.
That’s what the wayerboarding portion of the pretrial program is for.
