It doesn’t matter what anyone does about it. Wear a mask or don’t wear one. Get injected or don’t get injected.
The virus doesn’t care.
The charts are startling. Huge spike in the spring of 2020, down to low death numbers in summer. The blogs were full of talk about the end of the pandemic.
Then winter in the northern hemisphere and an explosion of deaths. All over the world, an explosion of deaths right after declarations of . . . it’s all over.
Down comes the death count. Long before vax totals were significant. People were punching the air and celebrating how the vax was crushing death count. But a careful examination of the death curve showed no change in slope. Vax totals were increasing but the slope did not change.
It leveled out in the summer at about 200 dead/day. And then headed back up. More and more and more people were vaxed, especially among the elderly that were the bulk of the dead.
Didn’t matter, August and September nudging 2000 dead/day.
Then down, and again wackos were saying the vax is finally kicking in. And now, the death curve has turned back up. Omicron, Delta, doesn’t matter. Dead is dead. We have upticks.
And along with the upticks we have articles about how “Omicron will create herd immunity!!!”, or maybe “Omicron is more gentle, milder symptoms!!”. You would think people would learn.
The deaths are increasing. Peak days during the week 1800ish. It doesn’t matter what political policy is. The virus doesn’t care.
Viruses gonna virus.

I have a heartfelt suggestion for you, because I really care; go cover yourself with bubblewrap, and sit in your bedroom closet...someone will feed you, I’m sure, and take care of all your bodily needs...
Folks ought to look up the basic rates of death for each year, say, back to 2015…
Those rates have gone DOWN.
People just die; nobody gets out of it.
This never was a pandemic.
