NEWSRAEL: The debacle of the Biden administration on the Mexican border is not just a problem with illegal immigrants. In the last two decades, American borders have gone far in keeping potential terrorists out of the USA. Billions of dollars have been invested. Now, though, you have migrant women and children passing through the southern border successfully, and one has to ask - who else is walking through USA borders without being checked, identified or listed? This report is not the first of potential terrorists walking freely across the border. Makes you wonder how many made it without getting caught....

Go ahead, Jen Psaki. Put out a furious, Biden-approved statement, accusing Joe Manchin of failing to "honor his prior commitments," of breaking his "promise," of—not to put too fine a point on it—lying. Bernie Sanders: enjoy your moment of accusing Manchin of not having the "guts" to stand up to powerful special interests. And Ilhan Omar, bask in the rosy glow of calling Manchin's reasons for opposing Build Back Better "bull----." The three of you, and the other Democrats who are lashing out at Manchin, see how you enjoy life with Mitch McConnell back in the Senate Majority-Leader saddle. That...

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) hit back at White House staff Monday and warned that Democrats had miscalculated by thinking that they could pressure him into backing President Biden's spending plan. "They figured surely to God we can move one person. We surely can badger and beat one person up. Surely we can get enough protesters to make that person uncomfortable enough that they'll just say, 'OK I'll vote for anything,'" he said in a local radio interview. "Well, guess what? I'm from West Virginia. I'm not from where they're from and they can just beat the living crap out of...

When the highly infectious Delta variant hit China in the summer, some public health experts were hopeful that the country could soon receive an immunity boost from BioNTech's highly effective mRNA Covid-19 vaccine. In July, the shot was reported to have passed an expert review by Chinese regulators and was in the administration review stage, according to Fosun Pharma, the Chinese partner of BioNTech licensed to produce and distribute the vaccine in the Greater China region. Fosun was even planning to start domestic trial production by the end of August. However, five months later there is still no word from...

If there's one skill Pfizer, Moderna and their vaccine-producing big pharma rivals have mastered over the last two years since SARS-CoV-2 first stormed out of Wuhan and infected the world, it's moving the goalposts - and not just with their rhetoric, with their research as well.First it was two shots. Then it was two shots and a booster dose. Now, as COVID cases and hospitalizations surge in what's shaping up to be another seasonal wave, Moderna has published new research purporting to show that a third full dose of its vaccine specifically increases antibody levels that are useful against the...

Typhoon Rai packed sustained winds of 195 kilometers (121 miles) per hour with gusts of up to 270 kph (168 mph) before blowing out into the South China Sea on Friday. At least 375 people were killed, 56 were missing and 500 were injured, according to the national police. The toll may still increase because several towns and villages remained out of reach due to downed communications and power outages, although massive cleanup and repair efforts were underway. Many were killed by falling trees and collapsing walls, flash floods and landslides. A 57-year-old man was found dead hanging from a...

You can see it in their eyes, you can hear it in their voices, you can read it in their words, intrusively controlling your life for the five billionth time. Anti-liberty leftists are afraid of Omicron, it haunts them at night while it provides copious excuses for their power by day. This kind of extreme panic was a ‘collective’ experience in the early days of the COVID crisis. With everyone running out en masse to buy toilet paper and hand sanitizer before cowering in their homes. It is different this time around. There’s a giant divide between the believers in the...

Here is what I want to say to you: at the end of this process, no matter how you change it, no matter how many statements the schools put out about diversity, no matter how many thumbs you put on all the scales to select for a certain kind of student, at the end of this process are self-serving institutions of limitless greed and an army of apparatchiks who are employed only to protect their interests. That’s it. You can’t make college admissions fair by getting rid of the SAT because colleges admissions can’t be “fair.” College admissions exist to...

The Center for Tech and Civic Life’s unprecedented spending is a serious violation of the spirit of free and fair elections.Last week, the Chicago-based Center for Tech and Civic Life finally filed its 2020 federal tax return and the list of grant recipients is shocking.Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg donated approximately $350 million to the formerly unknown liberal organization CTCL. The group then gave “grants” to local election offices, along with explicit instructions regarding how election procedures were to be changed. This greatly benefitted Democrat candidates.Although hundreds of jurisdictions received tiny gifts of a few thousand dollars, which probably made no...

The president’s climate envoy has been pressuring banks and financial institutions to reduce their commitments to U.S. oil and gas companies and join the Net-Zero Banking Alliance, which would hobble the ability of oil and gas companies to increase production. Citi, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase signed on to the alliance this year. Mr. Kerry’s efforts didn’t go unnoticed. In April, members of the Senate Banking Committee sent him a letter expressing concern that he had “been pressuring banks to make extralegal commitments regarding energy-related lending and investment activities” that would result in...

Who wants to sing “New York, New York” or “I Love L. A.” anymore? And can you imagine leaving your heart in San Francisco? What has happened is a true American tragedy—and it’s not just because of COVID, although that helped. The cancer has been growing for a long time. It could be said you should stay to help resuscitate these cities although I would argue you do more for them by leaving, making those governing the cities—universally Democrats, as everybody knows—and even more those dopey enough to have voted for that governance, wake up. And yet… and yet… and...

Four in ten people infected with COVID-19 show no symptoms — but are still potential spreaders of the disease, according to a new study. The findings, published last week in JAMA Network Open, found that 40.5 percent of people diagnosed with COVID-19 globally were asymptomatic. However, researchers said this highlights the “potential transmission” of the virus unknowingly, particularly in certain settings. “Screening for asymptomatic infection is required, especially for countries and region that have successfully controlled SARS-CoV-2,” researchers from Peking University said. “Asymptomatic infections should be under management similar to that for confirmed infections, including isolating and contact tracing.”

While many Christians are taught that premarital sex and cohabitation aren't advisable for many reasons, a growing number of single believers are following secular society's model instead of the biblical model. In the most recent episode of "Challenging Conversations" on the edifi podcast network, host Jason Jimenez, who's also a pastor and founder of Stand Strong Ministries, was joined by apologist Sean McDowell to discuss why some 60% of professing Christians believe cohabitation and sex outside of marriage are OK. Jimenez said that he and McDowell, who hosts classes on premarital sex and marriage at Summit Ministries, wanted to speak...
