I hate to say, “I told you so,” but I posted while Kamala Harris was still a presidential candidate back in 2019 about rumors that she runs a horrible office with disgruntled staff. I wasn’t the only one saying it, but it was downplayed tremendously by “sexism nannies” who feel any criticism of a woman by a man is somehow bigoted. Nevertheless, I dropped the story when she dropped out of the race. I had actually forgotten about it until recent weeks when the same rumors started coming from a different office: The VP’s office at the White House. Rumors...

Russia’s authorities are opting for persuasion rather than compulsion in what concerns vaccination against the novel coronavirus infection, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday. "Indeed, the most important task is to vaccinate the population," he said during his video link with Francesco Rocca, President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). "And we are trying to follow a path of persuasion rather than of compulsion. We are trying to combat biased views and prejudices against vaccination as such." According to the Russian president, the policy of persuading people in the necessity of vaccination against...

MIAMI (AP) _ Bob Dole, looking for a dramatic climax for his uphill presidential campaign, announced a 96-hour, virtually nonstop final push through 15 states beginning Friday. ``I want to shake up this race,″ he declared. Trailing badly in the polls with five days to go, Dole also appealed Thursday to Ross Perot’s supporters in his most direct terms yet. In what could be viewed as a concession that he could not win a three-way race against Clinton, Dole said, ``I can beat one candidate. I can’t beat two. Biden, Democrats, and Republicans In Name Only are to be blamed for the skyrocketing gasoline and energy prices TO COME. Biden has set the stage to hurt the poor with skyrocketing energy prices. The director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Francis Collins said Sunday on “Meet the Press” that it was “certainly possible” that the Omicron variant will not be the last COVID-19 variant of the pandemic. Anchor Chuck Todd said, “It seems that a lot of scientists seem to be surprised how much this virus has mutated or how fast this virus is mutating. So I guess we’re to your sense of where we are headed? Look, I know we need to be vaccinated more around the world, but realistically we should we expect essentially a new dominant variant in...

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that their recommendations for masking had been “crystal clear.” Walensky said, “I think we have so many more tools now than we did a year ago. We have so many things that work against SARS‑CoV‑2, and it’s what causes COVID regardless of the variants we have seen before. I do think that getting a lot of immunity right now will be critically important. Masking up right now, we have 80% of our cases of our counties that are still in higher substantial risk...

The concept of Santa and Sinterklaas arguably stems from Saint Nicholas, an early Christian bishop of Greek descent who had many miracles attributed to his intercession, but is also known for his generous practice of gift-giving. Father Christmas, however, is a completely different entity who was a Yule-tide visitor and not a gift-giver. Some sources suggest that he was originally a pagan figure who represented the coming of spring, or the Saxon “Father Time”, or even the Norse God Odin when he takes on the character of Jul, riding his eight-legged horse Sleipnir. He was first recorded in 15th century...

It’s official, the band -- who played a lead role in getting the first ever audit of the Pentagon – is back together and we have amassed an Intelligence Community and Special Forces army to fight back against the small covert fascist faction within the CIA who has been working in partnership with global intel agencies, political leaders, China’s CCP, Fortune 100 board members and the World Economic Forum to incrementally enslave a significant percentage of humanity. Yes, I know, it all sounds like an absurd Dr. Evil conspiracy theory, but the evidence is clear. We will prove it...

This week the US Supreme Court heard arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health. The issue is whether a Mississippi law limiting abortions to the first 15 weeks of pregnancy is constitutional. Justice Sonya Sotomayor asserted that "allowing the Mississippi law to stand would effectively overrule the Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that declared abortion a fundamental right. The claim that abortion murders a human being must fail given that fetuses are basically brain-dead blobs of tissue. Removing them from a woman's body is akin to removing a tumor." She went on to warn that "undoing...

Five days after he said he tested positive for COVID-19, UFC President Dana White revealed he has now tested negative for the virus and plans to return to work on Monday, per doctor’s orders. White clarified to TMZ that doctor is his actual doctor, not “Dr. Joe Rogan,” whom he thanked for recommending a controversial cocktail of drugs that he said treated 40 other friends of the UFC commentator, including NFL quarterback Aaron Rogers. White said his wife, daughter and mother-in-law also underwent the treatment – which includes monoclonal antibodies, a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) drip, vitamins, and the anti-parasitic...

Or do penalties owed the state for the commission of a crime end at the grave? Google can't (or won't) respond intelligently to this query. I've also asked an attorney, he had no answer. All I know is, the penalty for conviction for money laundering in Florida is incarceration in the state penitentiary for an extended period of time, plus the requirement that the convicted party repay to the state double the amount of money originally laundered! Thanks for any insight you all may be able to provide. (Yes, I've pledged a monthly contribution today.)

Bureaucrats telling 'experienced clinician how to practice'.. A physician and medical researcher who is suing his Virginia hospital for preventing him from treating COVID-19 patients with effective drugs that have become politically charged said his effort is on behalf of physicians across the United States and around the world whose relationship with their patients has been sabotaged. Dr. Paul Marik, a professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School, said it's "completely outrageous" that the hospital in Norfolk where he serves as ICU director is telling physicians what they can prescribe and not prescribe, violating the doctor-patient relationship and the Hippocratic Oath....
