European Union Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the EU should start discussing mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations, as the world steels itself for the threat of the newly-discovered Omicron coronavirus variant. She noted that one-third of the EU population, or roughly 150 million people, had not been vaccinated yet. Austria was the first country in the EU — and the first Western democracy — to announce mandatory vaccinations for its entire adult population on November 19. On Tuesday, Greece said it would impose monthly fines of $113 to seniors older than 60 who refuse to get vaccinated by mid-January. Meanwhile,...

In response to the recent tragedy in Oakland County, Michigan, what did the anti-gunners do? Following their standard course of action, they are politicizing the deaths of four high school teens in an attempt to undermine your constitutionally-protected rights. In fact, bowing to the will of their far-Left overlords, anti-gun senators are bringing H.R. 8 to the Senate floor—which is a bill to institute Universal Background Registration Checks (UBCs). And to make matters worse, they are trying to do this by unanimous consent—without an actual vote. Please, contact your Senators and make sure they know you’re opposed to H.R. 8...

Time for sex ed with the House speaker. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) blasted the Supreme Court’s conservative justices Thursday after they indicated they would restore a Mississippi law banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy — with Pelosi saying, “they need a session on the birds and the bees.” During her regular news conference, Pelosi described listening to Wednesday’s oral arguments before the high court and said it was “a very dark day.” “The court is threatening to trample over the Constitution, destroy Roe v. Wade, and take away a woman’s freedom to make the most fundamental decision that she can...

White House press secretary Jen Psaki claimed Thursday that a staff exodus from Vice President Kamala Harris’ press office was “natural” and “a very positive thing” — and at one point said that top executive branch staffers may also leave because they just want “to sleep more.” Psaki denied that there’s a house-cleaning underway amid abysmal polling for Harris and mass disgruntlement among her staff after reports on the latest in a trio of high-profile staff departures. “Working in the first year of a White House is exciting and rewarding but it’s also grueling and exhausting,” Psaki said.

”Does a mother have a right to ingest drugs and harm a pre-viable baby? Can the state bring child neglect charges against the mother?“ he asked. The Supreme Court is currently reviewing a Mississippi law that would ban nearly all abortions after 15 weeks.

A University of Pennsylvania “women’s” swimmer named Lia Thomas, who used to go by Will as a member of the men’s swimming team, is smashing records and has many wondering if Olympic superstar Katie Ledecky will be soon losing races to a transgender competitor. At a November 20 tri-meet with Cornell and Princeton, Lia Thomas “blasted the No. 1 200 free time and the second-fastest 500 free time in the nation, breaking Penn program records in both events. She swept the 100-200-500 free individual events and contributed to the first-place 400 free relay,” according to SwimSwam.com, a website dedicated to...

The majority of Democrat voters are found to be afraid of the Omicron variant despite all of its cases being very mild. A poll released by YouGov Wednesday found 80 percent of registered Democrats said they are either “very concerned” or “somewhat concerned” about the latest variant. Only 35 percent of Republicans are feeling the same way. Furthermore, 87 percent of Americans have heard about the variant due to its extensive coverage in the media. This comes despite officials in South Africa and Botswana saying they did not have a rise in hospitalizations or deaths due to Omicron variant.

Every single person, including those who struggle deeply with who they are, are made in the image and likeness of God. However much someone can be mistaken in their self-understanding, whatever they’ve done to add to their own confusion, they’re still infinitely valuable and worthy of the fullest expressions of our love and care. This includes every person within the growing population of people who identify as transgender. Because of this, it is important to say, definitively, that radical transgender ideology is destructive, harmful, and disconnected from reality. We are told, of course, that anything less than fully embracing radical...

The comedy icon opened up about her struggles with addiction and mental health amid her cancer battle during an interview with ‘The View.’ The 61-year-old comedian admitted that between lockdown for the COVID-19 pandemic and feeling like so many people were angry at her for her controversial photo holding a faux severed head for former President Donald Trump, she fell deeper into addiction. While her story was undoubtedly emotional, Kathy eased the tension on the morning talk show by sliding a few jokes about Trump in. “I had fallen under the spell of pill addiction. I was really very addicted...

Following research about college students from before COVID-19 with a survey at the pandemic's Year I mark, an international team of scientists detected no improvement in the students' mental well-being even after the introduction of vaccines and the easing of social distancing methods, let alone a return to campuses in many instances. In fact, the researchers in spring 2021 found marked declines in both physical and emotional health—students sustained a 35% decline in their number of daily steps and a 36% increase in the number at risk of clinical depression, or roughly half of the total students surveyed. The scientists,...

CHICAGO — Jussie Smollett’s defense team unleashed a brutal cross-examination of the prosecution’s star witness Thursday, alleging the pair were dating, had masturbated together at a gay bathhouse and the attack was fueled by a desire to be the actor’s security guard. Abimbola Osundairo, 28, sat on the witness stand for a second day in a row at Chicago criminal court and was grilled for two hours by Smollett’s defense attorney Shay Allen on day four of the trial. Allen tried to paint Osundairo as a liar, drug dealer and opportunist who used his relationship with Smollett to further his...

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) declined to say Thursday how he would vote on a GOP effort to defund President Biden’s vaccine requirement for larger businesses as part of the debate over a short-term bill to fund the government. Manchin, asked if he would vote for an amendment to block funding for the mandate, sidestepped the question by saying that he was still “working” through it. “I’ve been very supportive of a mandate for federal government, for military ... I’ve been less enthused about it in the private sector,” Manchin said. A small group of conservative senators are pushing for a...

Omicron has thrown the holiday season into chaos with confusion over whether or not people should be gathering en-masse that is forcing companies, local governments and even the White House to reconsider festive parties for staff. According to officials cited by The Hill, White House staffers - who ordinarily arrange over 100 parties per holiday season - are discussing having events outdoors on the South Lawn and asking people to provide proof of a negative test before they arrive. Nothing has been announced yet but an announcement on the roster of parties is expected in the next few days. The...

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) criticized resident Joe Biden for contemplating stricter travel restrictions for U.S. citizens returning from abroad, despite their COVID-19 vaccinations status, as opposed to those same restrictions not applying to illegal immigrants. The Biden administration is considering forcing Americans returning from international travel to quarantine for seven days even if they have tested negative for COVID-19. In contrast, depending on the location and if they turn themselves in, illegal immigrants are sometimes not tested for the virus before being allowed to travel within the United States. The ongoing border crisis has lead to even some Democrats...

Alongside Poland, Hungary has formed a semi-alliance of conservative central European powers, and has been an example of sorts for Western conservatives. They all should do more.Entrenched leftists within the U.S. State Department are supporting the effort to demote Viktor Orban from prime minister of Hungary, if a report in Financial Times is correct. The Biden administration also left Hungary off its invitation list for a forthcoming international virtual Democracy Summit on Dec. 9 and 10 to which some 100 countries were invited.“Trump and his enablers and those who invaded and attacked our Capitol, they don’t like the world we’re...
