Biden admin silent as lawmakers worry it seeks to normalize relations with Assad The Biden administration’s decision to grant the cousin of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad a U.S. visa is drawing outrage on Capitol Hill and generating concerns the United States seeks to normalize relations with Assad and unwind sanctions on his embattled government. A Minnesota surgeon believes he was fired from his job after telling school officials that parents should have the choice of whether or not their children wear masks to school. Dr. Jeffrey Horak spoke before the school board at a public meeting in the town of Fergus Falls on October 11. He gave a speech against the school's temporary mask mandate, which had gone into effect the day prior. 'You mandate this across the road - that's a tough place to go,' Horak told the board. He then suggested there was a higher power in charge of the students' behavior...

A sharp rise in the number of children in the United States who identify as transgender has alarmed some parents. As these numbers grow, three mothers share the warning signs of transgender indoctrination. The Child Transgender Numbers ExplosionA study conducted by the American Academy of Pediatrics released in May 2020 showed nearly 10 percent of high school students in just one school district identified as gender-diverse. While some studies suggest...

A Colorado county health department has backed away, for now, from a plan to create what has been described as a de-facto vaccine passport system. The Larimer County Board of Health announced Oct. 21 that it had made its decision to pause implementation of the plan, “based on the feedback and questions we received” from the public. The voluntary plan is called the Vaccine Verified Facility and Event Program (VVFE). It asks businesses, churches, and other venues, to post a sign on the door stating proof of vaccination is required of all individuals seeking to enter the premises. The plan...

Our favorite Based Iranian Father returned to the Loudoun County School Board last night. Rather, I should call him Master Based Iranian Father. The last time we saw him, he said "Master" is his preferred pronoun. Master B.I.F. returned to express his disagreement over how the school board covered up one or two alleged rapes that happened in the school. You wanna push that garbage down my kid's throats, I will make you call my kids KING and QUEEN. That's how you will address my son and daughter. And when you look at me, you will call me Master." Barack...

Yes, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is a man on a mission. Moreover, the popular Florida governor doesn’t suffer fools gladly — be those fools his fellow Republicans, left-wing loons, or anywhere in between.A fired-up DeSantis went full metal attack mode at a Washington, D.C., Republican dinner on Tuesday night, effectively telling spineless Republican politicians to get hop aboard the train — or get the hell out of the way. “We don’t have time for boneless wonders,” he said.Even better, DeSantis blistered the “fake news” media, beginning with the never-ending “Russian collusion” nonsense in the 2016 presidential election win of Donald...

Mayor Bill de Blasio is reviving a long-stalled plan to open supervised shooting galleries around the Big Apple — amid a surge in overdose deaths and shocking scenes of junkies shooting up on Manhattan sidewalks in broad daylight. During a virtual news conference Tuesday, de Blasio called the junkie safe havens “an idea whose time has come” and said he was moving forward with the controversial proposal he first floated in 2018 because he finally had “the kind of potential cooperation” he needed from President Biden and Gov. Kathy Hochul after a decided lack of support from former President Donald...

For the past few weeks, the weekly survey of the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) has offered unique insights into emotions and investor sentiment. To say the least, individual investors are nervous. Every week since 1987, AAII conducts a survey. There’s just one question in the survey: Are you bullish, bearish or neutral about the next six months? The results provide useful insights into the current market environment. Over the long run, investor sentiment tends to be more bullish than bearish. This can be seen in the long-term average of the results. In a typical week, 38% of individuals...

A priest currently suspended by Opus Dei has published an open letter to Pope Francis and all the faithful of goodwill expressing his deep concerns about the Pope’s support for same-sex civil unions which he says is just one example of situational ethics that has crept into this pontificate’s teaching. Father Jesusmary Missigbètò, a 41-year-old Benin native currently living in Ivory Coast, has released the letter (see below) on the first anniversary of the showing of a documentary called Francesco by Evgeny Afineevsky in which the Pope’s remarks were reported. Father Jesusmary considers the Pope’s remarks, which have never been...

Abortion is one of the thorniest political issues in America, and it’s been that way for years. But it’s also an area where Americans’ views are complex and often contradictory. What people really think about abortion access is notoriously difficult to capture in a poll. And how people feel about the issue is influenced by all kinds of hard-to-quantify factors — their own personal experiences, the political landscape and more. So we want to capture some of that complexity by talking to you. Think you have a perspective on abortion that’s not represented in the news? Believe we should be...

The reality of the “communist paradise on earth” is brutal persecution and social ghettos, says the head of the Russian Orthodox Church. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill addressed the issue in his new interview with Forbes France. Asked about altruism as “a third way between hyper-materialistic capitalism and revolutionary Marxism,” the Patriarch state firmly: “The desire for self-enrichment as the highest goal of life, as well as self-satisfied social egoism, are repugnant to the Christian worldview.” Moreover, the quasi-religiosity ascribed to both capitalism and Marxism is equally unacceptable. For all its talk of creating a paradise on earth, communism and aggressive...
