The last COVID-19 checkpoints removed from Ho Chi Minh City entrances on Tuesday evening per a new decision issued by the municipal People’s Committee. The decision also stipulated the removal of 39 roadblocks along the border between Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
Works on removing those 51 checkpoints in the city began at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

Ok approximately 50% of Vietnamese are now at least partially vaccinated. MANY in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) are vaccinated now. This is the city most impacted, for the longest time.
I just this week obtained my confirmation (proof) for my vaccinations.
The Vietnam connections with the world are still very restricted, but we are now starting to see progress.

I’m glad things are getting better! In Florida we had the peak of the Delta variant in August but in the last month hospitalizations and deaths have decreased rapidly.
