PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland City Council has postponed a vote on an emergency resolution banning the purchase of goods & services from Texas in protest of the state’s new law banning most abortions. Last week, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler said a resolution could be voted on come Wednesday and if approved, would be in effect until Texas either withdraws the law or has it overturned in court.
