hile the Taliban now controls virtually all of Afghanistan, including the country's capital, Kabul, one region, the Panjshir Valley, remains outside of the group's tightening grip. Now, a resistance movement is forming there, led by, among others, Amrullah Saleh, who had been First Vice President of Afghanistan until the collapse of the internationally-recognized government this past weekend, and now claims to be the legitimate leader of the country. Yesterday, in a post on Twitter, Saleh declared himself "the legitimate care taker [sic] President," citing the constitution of the now all-but-defunct Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which says the First Vice President...

Dwight Weidman at The Franklin County Journal reported in July on the “powers that be” who were preventing Mastriano’s efforts to audit the Pennsylvania election. Senator Mastriano put up a video on his Facebook page blaming the “powers that be” for keeping his committee from meeting and issuing subpoenas. The video was subsequently taken down. Senator Corman is just another RINO-Democrat who is unwilling to look at the greatest American crime in history. What a disgrace.

Military personnel fired tear gas to control the crowds of Afghans trying to gain access to Kabul airport Friday, a day after the Pentagon said that order was being restored at the site and evacuation flights from Afghanistan would be accelerating. Soldiers have also fired into the air to disperse the crowd, according to a senior Western official. It was unclear as to whether the soldiers were American; British, Afghan and other Western troops are also stationed at the airport. There was no immediate comment from the U.S. military. Soldiers are also going just outside the airport perimeter, which is...

The US is extending non-essential travel restrictions at its land borders with Canada and Mexico through at least September 21, the Department of Homeland Security announced Friday, citing the Delta variant of the coronavirus. "In coordination with public health and medical experts, DHS continues working closely with its partners across the United States and internationally to determine how to safely and sustainably resume normal travel," the department tweeted. The US has been limiting non-essential travel along both borders since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and extending those restrictions on a monthly basis. The restrictions don't apply to cross-border trade,...

There’s a rumor going around Twitter that OANN reporter Jack Posobiec has the best White House source because most everything he posts from his source ends up coming true. And this latest “juicy tip” is no different. Jack says his source told him that Joe Biden isn’t sleeping well at the White House and he wants to go back home to Deleware. Looks like the stress is getting to Joe. Not shocking. He’s clearly a sick man. Well, no sooner did Jack release that info, and the news came out and reported that Biden was heading to Deleware – while...

President Joe Biden will return to Delaware on Friday to resume his vacation, but first, he will deliver a speech about the disaster unfolding in Afghanistan. The president is scheduled to deliver remarks at 1:00 p.m., specifically about the process of evacuating American citizens, SIV applicants, and “vulnerable Afghans,” the White House announced. It is unclear whether the president will take questions after his speech, as he has quickly exited the room after delivering speeches this week. The president struggled to answer basic questions about his failure in Afghanistan in an interview with ABC News, appearing stubborn about the decision...

As the U.S. military and State Department rush to evacuate American citizens and Afghan allies from Kabul’s airport, Taliban checkpoints are cutting off many from freedom and safety – and reports on the ground indicate the militants are summarily executing people who helped U.S. forces over the years. Ryan Rogers, a retired Marine sergeant, told Fox News Thursday that the interpreter he worked with during the bloody 2010 battle of Marjah in Helmand province is currently trapped in Kabul, prevented from reaching the airport as Taliban fighters seek out and murder former Afghan commandoes and interpreters. "He told me yesterday...

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) slammed fellow GOPer Mo Brooks as “evil” on Thursday due to a statement Brooks released following an hours-long standoff with a “terrorist” near the US Capitol. Brooks (R-AL.) said he sympathized with “anger directed at dictatorial Socialism” after the suspect threatened to blow up the Library of Congress. Luckily, he did not have any explosives. Floyd Ray Roseberry — a 49-year-old from Grover, NC — ranted at President Biden in a livestream during the standoff. He told Biden the deaths of Afghan people “are on your hands” and also declared that “the South’s coming.” Shortly before...

The Biden administration is reportedly considering launching airstrikes against American-made aircraft and other large equipment provided to the Afghan army that has now been seized by the Taliban following their capture of the country. The military option – which has not yet been ruled out – comes amid concerns that the aircraft, vehicles and weaponry could be used to kill Afghan civilians or fall into the hands of militant groups and U.S. adversaries such as the Islamic State, Russia and China, current and former U.S. officials told Reuters.

The unjust political imprisonment of American citizens who entered the Capitol on January 6, many at the invitation of Capitol Police, continues and it is a horror show. There are a few Republican politicians denouncing this injustice, but the leadership is as mute as Helen Keller. These Americans are being held without bail while actual criminals guilty of murder, assault and theft are allowed to walk around. To help you appreciate the new American Gulag, please read the following letter from Jeff McKellop (hat tip to Brian Cates). Here is the actual letter (you can find the text below the...

The old-fashioned word “thrift” is out of vogue, but with 25% more dollars chasing the same goods, the value of our money has to decline. As costs go up, young people may have to learn to ring doorbells when they stand in front of your door or to navigate hometown streets without GPS. They won’t have the money for unlimited cell phone service. My great grandmother would watch “her shows,” her choice of the three afternoon television soap operas. I watched her turn the on-off knob then take down the quilting apparatus in the living room/bedroom of the house my...

I was looking at the certificate and the flag my son gave me after one of his deployments that had him flying over Afghanistan. The mission we asked our men and women to support: Operation Enduring Freedom! (not just for us) It speaks of the "free skies of Afghanistan." Thanks to our government, not our soldiers, airman, and Marines, those skies, yes, that whole country is no longer free but a place that brutalizes and murders its' people and now threatens the world with terror. I thank our servicemen and women and their families for what they have given and...
