Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) slammed fellow GOPer Mo Brooks as “evil” on Thursday due to a statement Brooks released following an hours-long standoff with a “terrorist” near the US Capitol.
Brooks (R-AL.) said he sympathized with “anger directed at dictatorial Socialism” after the suspect threatened to blow up the Library of Congress. Luckily, he did not have any explosives.
Floyd Ray Roseberry — a 49-year-old from Grover, NC — ranted at President Biden in a livestream during the standoff. He told Biden the deaths of Afghan people “are on your hands” and also declared that “the South’s coming.”
Shortly before Roseberry surrendered to police following a five-hour standoff, Brooks (R-Ala.) tweeted out a statement that he was monitoring the situation from his home in Alabama.

He doesn’t seem very bothered about the 10,000 Americans trapped in Afghanistan, if he has time for this.

In a political sense, what’s wrong with any of those sentiments?
Pretending to have a bomb and threatening to blow it up is illegal and so far a bad choice today, but tomorrow?
I like what Brooks said - that he “sympathizes with anger directed at dictatorial socialism”.
We need to take President Trump’s lead and continue to break free from PC chains, and say things that need to be said.
The Left will try to shame us for it, and even lock us up, but we need to double down and say it anyway.
I think we should have another protest at the Capitol - but this time with a hundred times as many MAGA people.
At some point, when there are enough of us, it will become obvious that we are not the insurrectionists, we are We the People - to whom the Capitol belongs.
And that when government fails to represent We the People, THEY are the insurrectionists.
Brooks comes out again as pro-terrorist. Fascinating fellow.
I’ve recently heard of a group here in Georgia, Landmark, that specializes in training Democrats to pretend to be Republicans, simply to get elected.... then they can be their liberal selves.
Kinzinger is unquestionably one of those.
