The World Health Organisation (WHO) has called on countries to ensure that health services across Afghanistan are maintained, as it warned of increasing cases of Covid-19 across the country. The organisation's regional director, Dr Ahmed Al-Mandhari, said that WHO teams in areas which had seen large influxes of people fleeing the Taliban advance are now reporting increasing cases of people with Covid-19 like symptoms.
