Queen’s Brian May called anti-vaxxers “fruitcakes” in a new wide-ranging interview. The guitarist and astrophysicist offered that criticism to The Independent. He reportedly shook his head upon the journalist’s mention of artists like Eric Clapton questioning vaccine safety and refusing to play concerts with strict COVID-19 protocols. “I love Eric Clapton, he’s my hero, but he has very different views from me in many ways,” May said. “He's a person who thinks it’s OK to shoot animals for fun, so we have our disagreements, but I would never stop respecting the man. Anti-vax people, I’m sorry, I think they’re fruitcakes....

Together, the integrated Starship stood around 120 meters (390 feet) tall, while the addition of the orbital launch stand increased that to 145 m (475 feet) – which is taller than the Pyramid of Giza (138.5 m; 454 ft). The stacking was the first time that the Starship and Super Heavy were fully integrated, a major milestone for the company that puts them one step closer to making an orbital flight test. The integration was part of an accelerated work order that came to be nicknamed the “Warp 9” surge. This included bringing hundreds of employees in from other sites...

The effectiveness of Pfizer’s COVID-19 shot can drop to 83.7% within four to six months after getting the second dose of its vaccine. This is the latest indication that vaccine-induced immunity to the virus can wane and some kind of boost may be necessary in the future.

Atlantic City Boardwalk (1965). Just over a year since The Beatles swept America. Hot dogs were still 10 cents (or 15 cents for the foot-longs). Of course there was skee-ball with the attendant cheap prizes. Most women in dresses (and some in high heels). I was still two years old that summer so one of the children being pushed in a stroller might have been me. Check out the Blue rolling chairs.

The Senate’s protracted debate over a sweeping bipartisan infrastructure package looks likely to last a few more days. Sen. Bill Hagerty, a first-term Republican from Tennessee, said Saturday that he will not consent to any agreement to shorten the 30-hour post-cloture time, a move that would push a final vote on the package until next week. “I’m not trying to expedite this process whatsoever,” Hagerty said Saturday afternoon, hours after the Senate voted to support cloture on the substitute amendment to the bill. Hagerty said he has no problem with considering any of the outstanding 16 to 25 amendments that...

For some energy experts, the increase in donations for the officials at the close of the session looks like a reward for not passing more stringent regulations and raises questions about whether lawmakers let the oil, gas and the broader energy industry off easy for its massive failures.

Female journalists and activists say they had their private photos shared on social media by governments seeking to intimidate and silence them. Ghada Oueiss, a Lebanese broadcast journalist at Al-Jazeera, was eating dinner at home with her husband last June when she received a message from a colleague telling her to check Twitter. Oueiss opened up the account and was horrified: A private photo taken when she was wearing a bikini in a jacuzzi was being circulated by a network of accounts, accompanied by false claims that the photos were taken at her boss’s house. Over the next few days...

Former President Donald Trump estimated up to 100 million people would have died from COVID-19 without his administration's efforts to spur the development of vaccines. If not for Operation Warp Speed, which was the name of the Trump administrationâs initiative to develop vaccines quickly to protect the public from the coronavirus, Trump said the health crisis death toll would be similar to that of the Spanish Flu pandemic more than a century ago. "I think if we didnât come up during the Trump administration with a vaccine you could have 100 million people dead just like you had in 1917....

1157 comments Suzanne Adams 9 hours ago I am extremely concerned, especially about the blood clotting. It's been obvious to me from the beginning that these vaccines would do this, especially in people who are low in zinc as zinc regulates blood clotting and platelet function. I have a doctor friend who I believe is suffering from this condition right now, having severe headaches and high blood pressure ever since taking the Pfizer shots. This new JAMA article should lift everybody's eyebrows and demand a stop to mandating these so-called vaccines (be sure and study the graphs): Myocarditis and Pericarditis...

To hilarious effect, Jeremy Clarkson battles failing crops and his own cluelessness on Clarkson’s Farm.....Clarkson’s Farm is a brilliant eight-episode reality series on Amazon Prime whose central figure does a spectacular job making himself look absurd. Jeremy Clarkson — a national treasure in Britain, still little known in the U.S. — is a soft-bellied, PC-hating, extremely wealthy 58-year-old fellow who made squillions hosting Top Gear, then was fired for punching a producer, then launched a knockoff show called The Grand Tour. He is also beloved for the curmudgeonly humor columns he writes for the British Sunday papers.Clarkson’s farm is a...

Dutch Bishop: Does Francis WANT Empty Churches?Traditionis Custodes (TC) contains contradictions and should be corrected, writes ‘s-Hertogenbosch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts, Netherlands, in a second statement (VitamineXp.Blogspot.com, August 3).In TC 1, Francis claims that the Novus Ordo is the only form ("unique expression") of the Roman Rite but Mutsaerts calls this strange because Francis himself has promoted the missal of the Ordinariate for Former Anglicans which is a part of the Roman Rite. Therefore, Mutsaerts asks whether TC 1 abolishes this missal.Further, only in 2020, Francis approved a number of new prefaces for the Old Mass, thus confirming that the...

Spectroscopy analysis reveals 99.5% graphene oxide in Moderna vaccination vial JULY 22, 2021 Pin on Pinterest In a new interview for Palabras y Verdades, La Quinta Columna clarified the doubt about the percentage of graphene oxide in the vaccination vials. When they talked about it being present in 99% or almost 100%, they were referring specifically to what is obtained after analyzing the contents employing the spectroscopy technique. It is not that the whole vial is graphene, but that when the liquid is purified, the signals obtained from this filtrate show that it is 99.5% graphene. That said. Yesterday we...

"Gov. Cuomo, at least Nixon had the decency to quit." I don't want to post the link to give it hits, but it is so old to mention Nixon. With what the left did to Trump, why is Goodwin mentioning Nixon? Why not mention Jim McGreevy in neighboring New Jersey, who held a press conference and resigned immediately? This writer also said there was no voter fraud.
