Traditionis Custodes (TC) contains contradictions and should be corrected, writes ‘s-Hertogenbosch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts, Netherlands, in a second statement (VitamineXp.Blogspot.com, August 3).
In TC 1, Francis claims that the Novus Ordo is the only form ("unique expression") of the Roman Rite but Mutsaerts calls this strange because Francis himself has promoted the missal of the Ordinariate for Former Anglicans which is a part of the Roman Rite. Therefore, Mutsaerts asks whether TC 1 abolishes this missal.
Further, only in 2020, Francis approved a number of new prefaces for the Old Mass, thus confirming that the Old Mass belongs to the Roman Rite.
Mutsaerts concludes that the bishops have to choose between being custodians of the Tradition or obeying Francis and thereby destroying the Tradition. Many bishops have decided to be generous, in violation of TC.
For Mutsaerts it is difficult to understand the reasons for TC which doesn't serve unity. Francis declares war on some of his own faithful while in the same month “praising James Martin's rainbow liturgy to the skies.”
“He wants to get rid of the Mass that has been an expression of the Catholic faith for centuries," Mutsaerts resumes,
"Perhaps he doesn't like large families (‘they don't have to breed like rabbits’), perhaps he's not keen on priestly vocations, or on full churches (which makes the empty rainbow churches look even emptier than they already are....).”

Yes, Bergoglio the Usurper wants to gut the Roman Catholic Church from within.
I believe he does.
The woke RC Pope is a globalist and has thrown in his lot with Soros and the globalist world leaders. They want to create a world that is absent of God.
Parishioners often find Latin mass spiritually soothing, but may not understand fundraising requests in Latin.
yes. thats what he was hired to do
The Netherlands used to be predominantly Protestant (Dutch Reformed Church) with a Catholic minority along with some Jews who had found toleration there. Now it is something like 28% Catholic, 19% Protestant, 5% Muslim, and 42% no religion. But I would guess that many of those still listed as Catholic or Protestant do not attend religious services on a regular basis.
On one of the first pages inside the front cover of the book, you'll see two things:
1. An Imprimatur (Latin for "let it be printed"), which is a formal authorization by the Catholic Church for the book to be published.
2. A Nihil Obstat ("nothing hinders") declaration, which is a certification that the book contains nothing contrary to Catholic doctrine or morals.
Restricting the use of a missal that has been published in various forms with these two formal declarations by the Catholic Church dating back centuries is about as ludicrous as it gets.
False Prophet or false profit??
He’s both
FWIW - I think we could connect better with the younger generation if The Mass was shortened to 30-40 minuets.
ALSO, FWIW - I'm not saying that Pope Francis is a tool of satan (not here, anyway).
That many minuets could be quite exhausting!
Y'know, I thought I mis-spelled that. Of course it is a real world, so spell checker would let it by.
Probably ought to check my cognitive abilities.
It may well have “corrected” it for you. That’s happened to me.

"Because that's how you get empty churches!"
vATICAN II did the job of emptying Churches. Attendance dropped from 76% on Sundays to 25% and is still descending. After this present older generation passes on, many Churches will close and there will only be one Mass on Sundays. Nobody is comfortable with the present Presbyterian Mass.
There is not a doubt in my mind that Bergoglio and his ilk (e.g., McElroy, Stowe et al.) would rather see an empty, closed parish church than one where the TLM is celebrated and the place is overflowing with young adults and heterosexual families (redundant, I know). It’s pathological for these guys.
Our daily TLM masses are less than 30 minutes. No sermon, no singing and less people at Mass.
