It is easier to start a war than end one. That argument alone should deter us from war and yet . . .time and time again man’s bellicosity combined often with imbecility entices us to war. The Iraq war was no exception. Sold as a response to 9/11 with propaganda so irresponsible that it convinced some of our guys to graffiti our missiles with words like: “this is payback for 9/11.” Only it wasn’t. Not only did Saddam Hussein have nothing to do with 9/11, deposing him led to chaos and a breeding ground for more terrorism. Regime change led...

A federal judge ruled in favor of Florida in a lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, saying the agency overstepped its authority. Judge Steven Merryday said the CDC is "preliminarily enjoined" from enforcing its conditional sail order -- a set of guidelines for cruise companies wishing to resume sailing in the U.S., including test cruises and vaccine requirements -- beginning July 18. "This order finds that Florida is highly likely to prevail on the merits of the claim that CDC's conditional sailing order and the implementing orders exceed the authority delegated to CDC," the ruling said. Merryday...

Catholic Democrats Issue ‘Statement Of Principles’ Demanding Bishops Allow Abortion Supporters To Receive CommunionSixty Catholic Democrats from the House and Senate issued a “statement of principles” to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on Friday, demanding that the Conference, when drafting its document on the Eucharist due out later this year, not prohibit Catholic politicians who openly support abortion from receiving Communion despite being in open defiance of Church teachings. The shocking letter addresses what the sixty Democrats claim is “the weaponization of the Eucharist to Democratic lawmakers for their support of a woman’s safe and legal access to abortion,”...

In an extraordinary interview last week, Dr. Peter McCullough, an American professor of Medicine and Vice Chief of Internal Medicine at Baylor University, declared that the world has been subjected to a form of bioterrorism, and that the suppression of early treatments for COVID-19—such as hydroxychloroquine— “was tightly linked to the development of a vaccine.” Dr. McCullough made the explosive comments during a webinar on June 11, with Dr. Reiner Fuellmich, a German trial lawyer, who believes the pandemic was planned, and is “a crime against humanity.” McCullough said he believes the bioterrorism has come in two stages—the first wave...

Kashkari’s remarks show he’s in a decided minority in an increasingly hawkish Fed, which on Wednesday wrapped up a two-day meeting with an unexpected result: with inflation on the rise, most Fed policymakers now see a case for starting interest rate hikes sooner. Just three months earlier the clear majority of policymakers favored no change to the current level of borrowing costs; on Wednesday, the central bank's quarterly summary of economic projections (SEP) showed 11 of 18 Fed policymakers penciling in at least two quarter-percentage-point rate increases by the end of 2023. ... At least some of Kashkari's colleagues may...

Every sheriff in Utah has signed a letter vowing to protect Second Amendment rights and advising citizens that they are working to “prevent and prepare for potential violence.” While talk of gun control on Capitol Hill has temporarily taken a backseat to other initiatives, such as “infrastructure,” the men and women of law enforcement are staying ahead of the game in the event that any anti-gun legislation makes it through Congress. Every single Utah sheriff signed a letter released this week by the president of the Utah Sheriffs’ Association, Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen. Jensen had promised to fight for...

Fifteen hours, nine waffles and one upset stomach later, a man in Mississippi completed his punishment for finishing last in his fantasy football league. Thousands on social media joined Lee Sanderlin as he live tweeted his journey fulfilling his penalty, which required him to spend 24 hours at a Waffle House in Brandon, Mississippi. For every waffle he ate, however, an hour was shaved off the clock. After downing the last of the waffles, he posted: "The sun is rising, it’s a new day and I’m never eating waffles again. That’s 9 waffles and 15 hours in this restaurant.

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- The Senate Judiciary Committee has delayed voting on the nomination of retired federal agent-turned-gun control advocate David Chipman one week, until Thursday, June 24, and during that time, grassroots Second Amendment activists are expected to be flooding Capitol Hill with messages of opposition.“Between now and next Thursday,” suggested Jason Ouimet, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, “(gun owners) ought to be contacting their Senators. They don’t want a partisan person like David Chipman running ATF.”

This week’s number of reported adverse events among all age groups following COVID vaccines surpassed 350,000, according to data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The data comes directly from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Editor’s Note: The data on Covid shots taken by teens is limited, but unless a ton more kids are getting injected than they’re telling us, this VAERS data indicates that the death rate for children taking the vaccine is higher than the death rate for children contracting the disease.VAERS is the primary government-funded system for...

Batteries are also being moved out of Iraq, Jordan and Kuwait. A major “realignment” of US defense priorities is resulting in a new extended drawdown of troops, aircraft, and anti-aircraft missiles from the Middle East, The Wall Street journal says in a new report, especially a prior missile battery build-up under Trump in Saudi Arabia. “The Pentagon is pulling approximately eight Patriot antimissile batteries from countries including Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, according to officials,” the report details. “Another antimissile system known as a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or Thaad system, is being withdrawn from Saudi Arabia, and jet fighter squadrons assigned to the region are being reduced, those...

The Sunset of a Papacy. Pope Francis also has his fans against him. What is happening in the Catholic Church? Are we on the verge of an earthquake? There are lots of signs that would induce us to think so, and the article by Alberto Melloni from the columns of “La Repubblica” yesterday, is really quite sensational, revealing, as it does, the severe split on the part of some progressive Catholics from Pope Francis, whom they used to support enthusiastically. Melloni, symbol of the “School of Bologna” and the “progressive wing of the Church – initiates his indictment by highlighting that...

Downtown Oakland now looks like a Third World shantytown, full of tents placed by homeless people. There are thousands similar sprawling encampments in Oakland, and they’re not going away anytime soon. They’re likely to get even bigger. But Newson had other ideas, he thought he can walk like a Governor who enjoys a huge support in Oakland but received instant karma for destroying the city. A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting Gov. Gavin Newsom during his visit to downtown Oakland, authorities said Friday. Newsom was walking to a barbershop and pizzeria in Old Oakland to promote small...
