Every sheriff in Utah has signed a letter vowing to protect Second Amendment rights and advising citizens that they are working to “prevent and prepare for potential violence.”
While talk of gun control on Capitol Hill has temporarily taken a backseat to other initiatives, such as “infrastructure,” the men and women of law enforcement are staying ahead of the game in the event that any anti-gun legislation makes it through Congress.
Every single Utah sheriff signed a letter released this week by the president of the Utah Sheriffs’ Association, Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen. Jensen had promised to fight for residents’ constitutional rights in an April statement.
“Recently, President Biden talked about several proposed measures of gun control and plans to sign executive orders. Unconstitutional gun control in any measure will not happen in Cache County on my watch,” Jensen wrote at the time.
“I stand at the forefront of this county to protect your rights from government overreach,” he added.

We spent 10 days vacationing all over Utah last month. Nice place!
Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to G_d!
Mormons are preppers and have been for a long time. Every member of the church is encouraged to keep a 1 year supply of food, water and other items, including self defense items.
Wait till these Communist and their leftist misfits demand climate change lock-downs giving the earth time to heal and recover.
A year’s worth of ammo just might amount to a considerable “arsenal”.
you on the right thread?
At that point we all go ‘warning red/weapons free’.
Yeah, I should have separated self defense from the one year supply thing. The one year thing is for food, water etc and they also recommend being prepared in self defense but to what degree, I have no idea.
Uh, yeah...It’s all about taking your freedoms, incrementally, one step at a time.
Beautiful part of our country. Lived there multiple times in my life. Sad thing, well not too sad, God brought me to GA. My family and I moved when my kids were for lack of other words, shunned, for not being Mormon. If you’re not in the “club”, you and your kids will see the results. My kids lost their friends for the most part once the “friends” had their baptism or whatever they call it.
I’d move back once the kiddos hit college, maybe to St. George this time. We shall see. My wife wants a beach house.
You got canceled by the Mormon cult.
One of my good friends did also in Idaho.
Ruthless!
Glad to hear you are a fellow Georgian.
I don’t know how they get away with that type of shunning culture.
St. George is beautiful. Turned down a lucrative job offer there, one of my many mistakes.
There’s newer places out towards Ivins that look like they’re straight outta Palm Springs.
Look up “The Escapes at Entrada”

Kids being “Shunned”,,,
Way out of bounds.
Agreed Roman,
The have some
Great qualities
But,
The negatives are
Overwhelming.
This is an example of the Cold Civil War brewing between states and the Biden Administration. I expect to see more open defiance of Biden s Executive Orders and administrative decrees
So it Starts... We are in “Bleeding Kansas” Now, waiting for the bloody John Brown Raid to come. (or was that the Jan. 6th demonstration?) Next comes the bad election and the Democrats refusing to step down before the formation of a new CSA (Constitutional States of America this time). I hope wiser heads prevail than they did in 1860.
Yep....and this by men of the Badge all the better!
Yo, pedo joe! There’s a new sheriff in town. You best act accordingly...
