Final Rush Limbaugh Show Segment Moves Me To Tears Jun 18, 2021I heard the first show in syndication. I was still in Dayton. It didn't take long to become a fan. Rush Limbaugh was a staple in my life for three decades. Today, the final show segment and the last "Open Line Friday" caller. Thanks for everything, Rush.

The masks are coming off. States are reopening. Vaccination rates are still rolling. The level of infection is low. Deaths are down. News outlets, like Axios, are nixing their weekly COVID maps because there’s no need. The pandemic is over. The New York Giants recently announced the stadium will not only be operating at full capacity, but there will be no mask requirement, no negative COVID test requirement, or proof of vaccination. Tailgating will also be allowed. It’s key since if one organization is going to do it, they all will. Look how long it took for Yankee Stadium to...

Joe Biden looked spooked on Friday when a reporter asked him about Catholic Bishops taking steps to prevent him from receiving Holy Communion. U.S. Catholic bishops have approved the drafting of a “teaching document” that will prevent Joe Biden and other pro-abortion politicians from receiving Communion for their support for the practice. The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of the move, with 168 in favor and 55 against. It was announced on Friday at the end of the three-day meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, following their vote on Thursday. Blood drained from Joe Biden’s face on Friday...

SANTA FE — New Mexico is set to fully reopen on July 1 — with the help of some rounding up to reach a 60% vaccine goal set by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. The Democratic governor said Friday the state’s push to vaccinate residents against COVID-19 would continue despite the long-awaited reopening. “Frankly, we need to be better than 60% fully vaccinated,” Lujan Grisham said in a statement. “The variants across the globe and in the U.S. present very serious risks to unvaccinated people, even young people. State health officials also said that expected vaccine data from Texas and the...

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley released a statement on Twitter on Friday in response to the sharp backlash he has received on social media, in which he disclosed that he is not vaccinated and pledged to "live my one life like I want to regardless.""I will be outside doing what I do," he wrote. "I'll be out in public. If your (sic) scared of me then steer clear, or get vaccinated ... I may die of covid, but I'd rather die actually living.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday filed court documents saying recently passed laws in Arkansas and West Virginia restricting transgender rights are unconstitutional. The legal briefs, shared on Twitter by The Huffington Post, argue that the state laws violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment. The DOJ called the Arkansas law "dangerous governmental intrusion." One of the provisions in the state law prevents doctors from performing gender reassignment surgeries. "Rather than rely on the judgment of medical professionals and evidence-based treatment guidelines, Arkansas has inserted itself within one of the most confidential and personal of relationships:...

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has spent nearly US$6 billion over the past 17 years trying to improve agriculture, mainly in Africa. This is a lot of money for an underfunded sector, and, as such, carries great weight. To better understand how the Gates Foundation is shaping the global agriculture agenda, GRAIN analysed all the food and agriculture grants the foundation has made up until 2020. We found that, while the Foundation’s grants focus on African farmers, the vast majority of its funding goes to groups in North America and Europe. The grants are also heavily skewed to technologies...

Today, the Washington Post published another fake news hit piece on the amazing, and highly accomplished reporter, Christina Bobb from One America News (OAN). They are doing everything in their power to hurt the REAL reporters on the ground in Arizona who are reporting the truth about this historic audit process in the Grand Canyon State. The WaPo headline reads “One America News is the face of the Arizona election audit.” What does that even mean?

Explanation: Atmospheric refraction flattened the solar disk and distorted its appearance in this telescopic view of an Atlantic sunrise on June 10. From Belmar, New Jersey on the US east coast, the scene was recorded at New Moon during this season's annular solar eclipse. The Moon in partial silhouette gives the rising Sun its crescent shape reminding some of the horns of the devil (or maybe a flying canoe ...). But at its full annular phase this eclipsed Sun looked like a ring of fire in the heavens. June's annular solar eclipse followed on the heels of the total lunar...

NASA will head to asteroid 16 Psyche - long thought to be the core of a dead planet - in 2022 to determine if it really contains enough metal that it's worth $10,000 quadrillion and could make every person on the planet a billionaire. But one new study suggests it's more likely a pile of rubble. The research, published in Planetary Science Journal, suggests that 16 Psyche is 82.5 percent metal, 7 percent low-iron pyroxene and 10.5 percent carbonaceous chondrite. It could also have a bulk density, or how much empty space is inside, at 35 percent. Those figures are...

CommentaryLast month, Washington Post columnist George Will proclaimed, “I would like to see January 6th burned into the American mind as firmly as 9/11 because it was that scale of a shock to the system.” For Conrad Black, George Will “seems to have taken leave of his senses,” and the comparison wasn’t even close. On Jan. 6, 2021, a few hundred people entered the U.S. Capitol and caused “relatively minor damage.” On Sept. 11, 2001, a “meticulously planned” terrorist assault with hijacked airlines claimed 3,000 victims. To all but the willfully blind, there could be no parallel.“September 11, 2001, was a...

“Then [Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego] were tied up in their trousers, their coats, their caps and their other clothes, and were cast into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. For this reason, because the king’s command was urgent and the furnace had been made extremely hot, the flame of the fire slew those men who carried up Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. But these three men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, fell into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire still tied up” (Daniel 3:21-23). When God doesn’t deliver you from a trial, He refines you through the trial....

“Thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head” (Psalm 21:3, KJV). At first glance, this verse by David is a bit puzzling. The word “prevent” is usually associated with a hindrance, but the modern translation here would be, “You meet him with the blessings of goodness” (NKJV). The biblical word for “prevent” meant “to anticipate, to precede, to foresee and fulfill in advance, to pay a debt before it is due.” Furthermore, in almost every instance, it implied something of pleasure. Isaiah gives us a glimpse of this kind of...

Opposition parties voted Thursday to declare the Liberal government in contempt of Parliament for refusing to provide unredacted documents to the House of Commons that could explain the firing of two scientists from Canada’s top infectious disease lab in Winnipeg, amid concerns over their ties with Chinese military research. The motion adopted by the Conservatives, Bloc Québécois and NDP censures the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) for failing to produce the requested records. It also orders PHAC President Iain Stewart to appear before the Commons on Monday to be admonished and to produce the confidential documents. The vote passed...

Mexico fans will be barred from attending their country's first two home 2022 World Cup qualifiers after making homophobic chants during two Olympic qualifying games in March, FIFA said in a statement on Friday. Mexico's games against Jamaica on Sept. 2 and Canada on Oct. 7 in the final round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying will be played in empty stadiums as a result of the sanctions. De Luisa said there is a risk to Mexico's involvement in the 2026 World Cup - which they are set to co-host with the United States and Canada - if fan behavior does...
