An 8th grader in Virginia slammed Loudoun County Public Schools for a policy she claims lets boys use girls locker rooms, putting female students in danger. Jolene Grover, 14, spoke at the school district's board meeting on Tuesday to address its proposed policy 8040. She was pulled from a LCPS school last year by her mother. 'Two years ago, I was told policy 1040 was just an umbrella philosophy and you weren't going to allow boys into the girls' locker rooms. But here you are doing just that,' Grover said while wearing a shirt that read "Woman is female." 'Everyone...

Law enforcement agencies across the country experienced a wave of retirements and departures and are struggling to recruit the next generation of police officers in the year since George Floyd was killed by a cop. And amid the national reckoning on policing, communities are questioning who should become a police officer today. Years ago, a candidate’s qualifications might be centered around his — yes, his — brawn. Now, police departments say they are seeking recruits who can use their brain. And they want those future officers to represent their communities. “Days of old, you wanted someone who actually had the...

About a year ago, shipbreaking was in full swing as the global economy was in tatters. After Western economies injected trillions of dollars in fiscal stimulus, supercharging consumers, maritime traffic between the US and China has been off the charts, resulting in shipping lines adding new capacity. The latest spending patterns in the West show things are getting back to normal as consumers are using credit cards and debit cards (where the stimmy checks arrive) to buy items mostly made overseas. They are highly confident about the future and are spending like there is no tomorrow – triggering supply constraints...

Vice President Kamala Harris made her first foreign visit to Guatemala and Mexico this week to address the "root causes" of Central American migration to the United States. But, ignoring the intimate role the United States played in developing those root causes, she brusquely told desperate Guatemalans "do not come" to the U.S. and dismissed any controversy over her not visiting America's southern border by saying she hadn’t been to Europe yet either. Thus, the daughter of immigrants and the first woman of color to serve as vice president of the United States left zero doubt that she was not...

YouTube's position is that content on the site must parrot whatever comes from its narrow set of authorities, even though their positions change frequently and dramatically.Google’s YouTube has stepped up its draconian censorship of a sitting U.S. senator. The powerful video-sharing company removed a video of a speech given by Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and banned him from uploading new videos for at least seven days. The action took place several months after YouTube removed two videos of testimony given at a hearing he hosted of the Senate’s Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on the topic of...

Campaigner Noel Conway, who brought a legal challenge against the ban on assisted dying in the UK, has died at the age of 71. Mr Conway, of Shropshire, had motor neurone disease and only had movement in his right hand, head and neck. He took his campaign to the Supreme Court, arguing for his right to die, but lost the appeal in 2018. She said his carers "ensured Noel had a painless and dignified death, demonstrating empathy and concern for...

President Joe Biden and other world leaders are expected to focus on the global response to the coronavirus pandemic Friday, the first day of the G-7 meeting in Cornwall, England, while making the case for democratic institutions' unique ability to respond to economic crises and disparities, senior administration officials said. The Group of Seven, an organization of the world's leading industrial countries — Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the U.S. — will also endorse a global minimum tax of at least 15 percent for companies, the White House said. If one is enacted, an established global tax rate...

Former Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, have put their Washington, DC, days behind them and are living in a $1.93 million Indiana home they purchased last month. Property records reveal that Pence, 62, bought a seven-bedroom, 7½-bathroom house in the upscale location of Carmel — known as the luxury pinnacle in his state of Indiana. And it appears he offered more than the asking price, as it was initially listed for $1.8 million. The home was first listed on April 1 and the former VP placed an offer a week later. The sale closed on May 25.

When the magnitude of Election Fraud is exposed by transparent Forensic Audits, and all the people realize that the Biden Regime is illegitimate, and everything they’ve done to hurt our country is unlawful, the Military will have to take over until the real winners are sorted out. Whoever is in charge of the Military when this happens will order all the commanders of every single state National Guard to prepare for incoming national election protocols (this is called a Warning Order – WARNO for short).

When West Virginia's Joe Manchin closed the door on eliminating the legislative filibuster this week, promising not to "weaken or eliminate" the 60-vote threshold, he "dashed" the "dreams" of Democrats, according to The New York Times. Hypocrisy is nothing new in Washington, but it takes a preternatural shamelessness to have participated in over 300 filibusters, as Democrats did in the past few years, and then one day turn around and treat the procedure as an odious racist relic that threatens "democracy." But this is an emergency, norm-breakers will tell you. Isn't it always? Senator Jacky Rosen, after a quick reversal...

The woman behind the controversial 1619 Project has no business working as a tenured university professor, historians and political scientists told the Washington Free Beacon—and they scoffed at a lawsuit the journalist is reportedly preparing to litigate the University of North Carolina’s decision to deny her tenure. Nikole Hannah-Jones, the New York Times journalist who emerged from obscurity to become one of the most prominent voices in media, is gearing up to sue the University of North Carolina for racial discrimination after the school denied her tenure in May. While the move was met with outrage in many corners, a...

Sadiq Khan has told Boris Johnson that London is ready to reopen from June 21. In a letter to the Prime Minister, the London Mayor said he believed the "four tests" set out by the Government to ease measures had been met in the capital. "Any delay to re-opening on 21 June will have severe consequences for businesses who have suffered so much already," he said. "As long as social distancing is in place, London’s hospitality, nightlife and cultural sectors, which have been hardest hit by the pandemic, will remain unable to reopen or fully reopen in an economically viable...

Inflation spiking at the highest level since 2008 apparently wasn’t newsworthy enough to receive coverage on the ABC, CBS and NBC morning networks yesterday. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the anticipated Consumer Price Index (CPI) report at 8:30 a.m. on June 10. The report revealed that consumer prices had skyrocketed a whopping 5 percent in May on a year-over-year basis. The Wall Street Journal dubbed the event the “the biggest surge in inflation in nearly 13 years.” CNBC said that economists were expecting a 4.7 percent spike in inflation. The indication is that the official BLS statistic clearly...

A criminal investigation should be opened into whether Dr. Anthony Fauci lied to Congress when he denied that his agency helped fund dangerous experiments in a Wuhan laboratory that might have caused the COVID-19 pandemic that killed more than 3.5 million people worldwide. Fauci is medical adviser to the president and the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an agency within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He insisted repeatedly during his Senate testimony on May 11, 2021, that the roughly $600,000 in taxpayer money that the NIH funneled through a third party to the Wuhan...

According to CBS late night talk show host James Corden and his The Late Late Show staff, it isn’t enough to offer Americans food or prizes to get the vaccine. No, no. People who don’t want the vaccine deserve a "knuckle sandwich." During his monologue, Corden was going off on people who are refusing to get the vaccine. “Vaccination rates in the United States have started to decline,” said Corden during his monologue. “Which means we're on pace to fall just short of President Biden's goal of having seventy percent of the country partially vaccinated by the fourth of July....

The Oregon state representative who let far-right protesters into the State Capitol was removed from office after being caught on video plotting the breach. On Thursday, the Oregon House passed a resolution that said GOP State Rep. Mike Nearman participated in "disorderly behavior" by opening the doors to the State Capitol as protesters gathered outside on December 21. Nearman himself was the only member to vote against it. As a result of the vote, he was removed from his position.

A group of Democrats in Congress this month have filed legislation that seeks to set new, much more restrictive standards for even the most basic handgun ownership in the United States.Plainly titled the Handgun Licensing and Registration Act of 2021, the proposal would require that any handgun owner be at least 21 years of age. Before their mandatory license is issued for a pistol or revolver, would-be handgun owners would first complete approved firearms training and clear a background check after submitting fingerprints and photographs. Licenses would have to be renewed every five years.“Our government requires registration and basic standards...

Make Communist China Pay for COVID-19 The aftermath of the pandemic is the perfect opportunity for the United States to lead a global rebuke and rectify the past half-century’s giant mistake. As the world slowly begins to emerge from the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic and American elites develop an interest in the formerly dismissed Wuhan lab leak theory, it is time to focus attention where it belongs: punishing a rogue Chinese Communist Party for what it has inflicted upon an unsuspecting world. To many of us, it was obvious from the outset that COVID-19 was a “Chinese Chernobyl.” Regardless of whether...
