The Oregon state representative who let far-right protesters into the State Capitol was removed from office after being caught on video plotting the breach.
On Thursday, the Oregon House passed a resolution that said GOP State Rep. Mike Nearman participated in "disorderly behavior" by opening the doors to the State Capitol as protesters gathered outside on December 21.
Nearman himself was the only member to vote against it. As a result of the vote, he was removed from his position.

True - but he was expelled for actions that Democrats are not only NOT expelled for but actually defended and praised for doing.
Poor guy. He probably saw images of the Kavanaugh hearings and the Wisconsin statehouse then thought it was an acceptable tactic.
He didn’t realize that equal protection under the law is gone. That the government exists only to protect itself and the democrat party apparatus.

Oregon law requires the Legislature be open to the public when making laws.
When the Legislature unconstitutionally locked the building during Covid, this guy went to a side door to let the citizens in, per the constitution.
