Almost half of women in 57 countries around the world are denied the freedom to decide on what to do with their own bodies, the United Nations said in a report on Wednesday. This includes issues around sex, contraception and health care. The My Body is My Own study lists attacks on women, including rape, forced sterilization, virginity tests and genital mutilation. The head of the UN’s sexual and reproductive health agency (UNFPA), Natalia Kanem, said: “In essence, hundreds of millions of women and girls do not own their own bodies. Their lives are governed by others.” Those other decision-makers...

Project Veritas released the second installment of a new #ExposeCNN series today, featuring Technical Director Charlie Chester - who described how the network uses "manipulation" to shape public opinion and garner higher ratings. "Any reporter on CNN -- what they're actually doing is they're telling the person what to say... It's always like leading them in a direction before they even open their mouths. The only people that we [CNN] will let on the air, for the most part, are people that have a proven track record of taking the bait," Chester explained. "I think there's an art to manipulation...Inflection,...

Faces up to 10 years in jail... A video shows police in the UK smashing down a man’s door and arresting him for violating COVID quarantine rules. The shocking clip shows a woman, presumed to be the man’s wife or girlfriend, recording the front door to the property as glass flies into the house while officers break in. The woman accuses the police of committing criminal damage and threatens to take them to court as a panicked dog runs up the stairs, narrowly avoiding being hit by the glass. “You’re supposed to be here to protect us!” the woman shouts...

Left-wing comedian and producer Chelsea Handler asked on Wednesday if police officers in America are being given “some extra incentive for every person of color they kill or permanently paralyze?” “It seems like it. Welcome to America,” Handler said, referencing a report on Rusten Sheskey, the Kenosha police officer who shot Jacob Blake, returning back to work.

Convinced that "we must do something to break the cycle of gun violence," the Portland, Oregon City Council voted to spend $1.4 million to fund unarmed patrols. The patrols will concentrate on public parks that have become prime locations for drug deals and turf battles between rival gangs. Mayor Ted Wheeler (D) hailed the move as "innovative. Instead of sending in cops with guns we will be sending in social workers to intercede between potentially violent confrontations. The first 'weapon' these patrols will deploy is persuasion. A lot of violent crime springs from ignorance. Our patrols will inform gangsters of...

Doctor Michael Rectenwald’s most recent book is the dystopian sci-fi novel “Thought Criminal” which I read as part of the Unsafe Space book club. “Thought Criminal” is his first science fiction novel, but it is far from his first book. He’s the author of eleven books including “Google Archipelago: The Digital Gulag and the Simulation of Freedom” and “Beyond Woke”. And I had the pleasure of interviewing him.

France is set to ban short domestic flights in favor of train services, after lawmakers approved a plan that will see several air routes discontinued to reduce emissions. MPs voted late on Saturday to some suspend some flights by domestic airlines that can be made by train in less than two-and-a-half hours, as part of a wider climate bill. If the bill passes through France’s upper house, the Senate, France will join a number of European countries seeking to move away from short flights. But some have criticized President Emmanuel Macron for watering down proposals from his own environmental panel,...

Their strategy was pioneered by crooks on Wall St. Before crooks tempt, non-profit funds managers with too-good-to-be-true portfolios in types of investments they aren't allowed to use, the crooks' first stop is lawyers, courts and governments of off-shore localities in which they will establish their crooked swindles. The strategy will be built around how they will go to court, once the domestic civil authorities "catch" them in their crooked deals. The same is probably true about how the theft of the 2020 election was planned for years in advance. The aggressive legal strategy, with feigned righteous indignation, was the core...

Hundreds of Canadian Christians gathered on Sunday at the GraceLife Church in Edmonton, Alberta. Government officials shut down the church for allegedly violating public COVID-19 health orders. Authorities erected a chain-link fence to prevent the house of worship from reopening last week. On Sunday, worshippers tore down the barricade, but were quickly met by a large contingent of riot police. Alberta Health Services physically closed the GraceLife Church, preventing access to the building. AHS said the church would remain closed until the GraceLife Church "can demonstrate the ability to comply with Alberta's chief medical officer of health's restrictions." The Royal...

HMS Hood took several direct hits – the first of which were from the Prinz Eugen and then additional hits from Bismarck – with some shells landing near her ammunition magazines, which quickly exploded. Despite the prestige, The Mighty Hood was soon lost. Of the crew of 1,415 sailors, only three survived. The loss of the Hood was taken hard by the Royal Navy, which began a pursuit of Bismarck. The German battleship had been damaged in the fight and tried to make for the coast of occupied France. Three days later, the pride of the German Kriegsmarine was hunted...

There are similarities between the blood clotting issues seen in people after getting two different COVID-19 vaccines, Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Wednesday. “There are some rather strong similarities about this with regard to the timeframe following vaccination, particularly importantly, the clinical syndrome of these clots together with low platelets, so there are a lot of similarities there that you just can’t miss,” the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said on NBC’s “Today” show. Fauci was comparing issues with Johnson & Johnson’s shot with those experienced by people who have had AstraZeneca’s jab. U.S....

Because some black people are lactose intolerant. An environmental activist is petitioning her local council to remove cheese and other dairy products from the school menu because she claims the food items are “racist.” Yes, really. Extinction rebellion member Alison Plaumer told local officials at a Brighton and Hove City Council meeting that dairy is racist because black people are more likely to be lactose intolerant. “Arguably, there is a racist element to serving dairy too much because 65 per cent of the world’s population are lactose intolerant, many from the BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) community,” said Plaumer....

I donât think you can find a photo that better sums up the stupidity of âwokeâ corporate America than this one here. Itâs dripping with irony and karma, and itâs delicious. Corporations have gone âwoke,â and theyâre funneling piles of cash into social justice activism like BLM and other Marxist movements. But itâs gone beyond just pouring cash into their coffers, these corporations have now gone full âHollywoodâ mentality and are now activists themselves. And we all know whatâs happened to Hollywood after they went full âwoke.â The same thing that happened to sportsâ¦America tuned out. We donât want this. ...

Prominent users of Crypto Twitter have suddenly discovered they have another profile on a new social network called BitClout, except over there some people are buying and selling tokens representing their identities. It does not matter whether the people behind those profiles have ever touched the social network.“The core insight behind BitClout is that if you can mix speculation and content together, you can not only get a 10x product that creates innovative ways for creators to monetize, but you also get a new business model that’s not ad-driven anymore,” BitClout’s lead creator, who goes by Diamondhands, told CoinDesk in...
