Director Lee Isaac Chung's heartwarming "Minari" is already a Golden Globe-winning film, and it has six chances to become an Oscar-winning one as well. The film, which consists of a small but endearing cast, follows a Korean-American family as they start a new life on an Arkansas farm. The film, Chung recently explained to Townhall, is semi-autobiographical. He grew up in the South and, as a Korean-American, he said that Christianity has always been a major part of his life. As such, he wanted to make sure he included a touch of spirituality in the film. "I still come back...

The Sinopharm vaccine requires two doses about a month apart and can take up to 21 days after the second injection to become fully effective. Minutes after the news broke of Khan testing positive, debate about the vaccine’s effectiveness heated up on social media in Pakistan and Sinopharm began trending here on Twitter. The Health Ministry quickly responded that the prime minister was not fully vaccinated when he contracted the virus.

Andrew Cuomo on Saturday. The New York state Department of Health is working to learn more about the patient's potential contacts. Conservative female icon, Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD), shocked her base on Friday when she sent a bill back to the state legislature which would ban biological males from competing in sports against females. After initially expressing hesitation on Thursday in an interview with The Argus Leader, Noem also spelled out her concerns on Friday in a lengthy twitter thread. The full letter with the governor's suggestions is available through the state news website. I believe that boys should play boys’ sports, and girls should play girls’ sports. I'm returning House Bill 1217 with the following recommendations as to STYLE and...

Welcome to the weekend and here we are. I am your currently sober drunk host. Day 369 Of The Dictatorship Of CPVID-19, Day 369 Of America And The World Held Hostage To Vaxx Or Not To Vaxx That Is The Question? President Trump endorsing vaccination against COVID-19 this week. Bue he kept a secret until the end of last month. Trump himself was vaccinated at the White House at the beginning of January but we only learned about it when the CPAC speech happened February 28th. One can point out that Mr. Trump needed anti-vaxx support for his political agenda...

Under the Biden administration, the Border Patrol is now the Welcome Wagon for migrant families and unaccompanied minors smuggled to the border by human trafficking cartels. Unlike the Trump administration which had a policy of immediately returning to Mexico nearly all illegal border crossers, Biden is now allowing children traveling “alone” and a majority of migrant families to stay in the U.S. while their bogus asylum claims are processed. The abrupt change in policy, coupled with Biden shutting down construction of President Trump’s border wall while promising amnesty for illegal aliens has provoked a flood of migrants who are overwhelming...

In March, when much of the nation shut down in response to the coronavirus landing on American shores, the Anti-Defamation League estimated that there were at least 57 instances of anti-Asian harassment and violence nationwide. And in recent weeks, the string of violence and anti-Asian sentiment has reached another breaking point — one that has disproportionately targeted vulnerable Asian seniors in the Bay Area.

Minnesota-based doctors working in the lucrative youth transgender medical field are condemning a state bill seeking to ban biological males from competing in women’s sports and using female locker rooms. In an op-ed at the Star Tribune this week, the medical professionals – pediatricians and those treating gender dysphoric youth in “gender clinics” – called the legislation a “hateful distraction, an imagined problem created only to politicize the lives of transgender youths.” The authors defended males in girls’ and women’s sports with a statement denying the existence of evidence that boys and men “have any type of biological advantage over”...

Tana Douglas had just lit her second cigarette, 30 or so minutes into a conversation with George Harrison, when the former Beatle said: “I would marry you tomorrow if you gave up smoking.” It was 1979 and the two were hiding out in the kitchen at a party hosted by Harrison’s neighbor Jon Lord, keyboardist for the heavy metal band Whitesnake. In the living room, a stripper — a birthday present to Harrison that embarrassed him — danced to the Beatles’ “She Loves You.” Douglas was the only woman there who wasn’t a stripper. The first female roadie in rock...

LEBRON James will be out indefinitely after suffering a high ankle sprain, the Los Angeles Lakers announced on Saturday. James, 36, suffered the injury during Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks and reportedly shouted in an uncharacteristic show of pain. The Hawks' Soloman Hill fell on James' ankle while trying to steal the ball, which left the 18-year NBA veteran howling in pain on the court. On his way to the locker room, James knocked a chair over in frustration, ESPN reported. He was reportedly given X-rays and an MRI on his right ankle after the game. "I haven't necessarily...

Disgraced former Trump lawyer Micheal Cohen said Friday on MSNBC that Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance was accelerating his criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s organization. Cohen said, “You’re going to see very soon, in my opinion, indictments start flying.” On being interviewed eight times by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, Cohen said, “Well, like I said — there’s over a million documents, and rest assured there’s one thing I can tell you about Cy Vance and Mark Pomerantz and the entire district attorney team, they are well organized. They are disciplined. They are methodical in their questioning, in...

A cockpit of a modern airliner, with all of its switches, dials, and knobs, can be a scary and intimidating place for one who is unfamiliar with them and has no experience whatsoever in the piloting of an aircraft. Particularly if you found yourself in one while the plane was already in the air, flying on auto-pilot at 35,000 feet. Would you be able to land the plane on your own or would you essentially be doomed to a crash landing? I sometimes wonder about this scenario. Let's say you are a passenger in a 737 jetliner headed from say...

I've been collecting links and information and posting it, along with many others, all over FR. It's important to save this information because content on the CDC's website and other websites is rewritten and removed soon after people start to reference it in debates. I've begun to collect and update it in one place. I didn't keep track of where I obtained the links and some of the contents. I provide credit for exerpts of user comments wherever I can. ThankQ to all FReepers who are sharing information and working against the unprecedented level of medical censorship we're facing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The...

Joe Biggs is facing a slew of trumped up charges for being present at the Capitol siege — and he needs help. Though the media and prosecutors appear to be trying to paint a picture of Biggs as some kind of ringleader during the Capitol siege, the truth is far less salacious. Many of you know Biggs from his time at Infowars or reporting on the ground from various events. He is also a father, son, and friend to many on the right. He is the kind of guy that you can lose touch with for a year, but he...
