Disgraced former Trump lawyer Micheal Cohen said Friday on MSNBC that Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance was accelerating his criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump’s organization.
Cohen said, “You’re going to see very soon, in my opinion, indictments start flying.”
On being interviewed eight times by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, Cohen said, “Well, like I said — there’s over a million documents, and rest assured there’s one thing I can tell you about Cy Vance and Mark Pomerantz and the entire district attorney team, they are well organized. They are disciplined. They are methodical in their questioning, in their documentation. I mean, there was more paper there, all tabulated in three-ring books, itemized for questions that they wanted to ask me. There was more than you would possibly even imagine. It was like a paper vault of information. And, you know, there’s a lot of documentation. Look, right now, I’m on home confinement, so I certainly have a lot of free time to head downtown, you know, to sit with them. One of the reasons I’m doing this, I will not be the villain of Donald Trump’s story. They need to all be held responsible for their own dirty deeds. I don’t want to be responsible for their actions.”

Hmm. They continue to ignore the fact that trump is better at these things than anyone. So is his team.
Trump and crew hired world class accounting firms to handle everything. He is a very moral man. There “is no there, there.”

If Cohen had anything on Trump (or anyone else) by which he could save his own skin don’t you think he would have used it long ago?
And then there was the phony Mueller insurrection (sic) in which they caused grievous harm to the nation and some Trump associates.
Ukraine remarks made in normal and legitimate course of dealings with another nation’s leader.
And impeachment. Still nothing criminal found.
We shall see.

Oh noes! An indictment or 20 might come flying. And? The entire intention is for dramatic courtroom antics to happen and for someone to go quietly into the night, and it’ll most likely not be Trump.

Peppers? Three-ring binders? What year is it? Wouldn’t the documents be in a computer to allow for quick cross reference? Cohen is blowing smoke.

It’ll be like the Capitol “insurrection,” where simple trespassing and/or vandalism has been conflated into terrorism. Trump Org staffers will be charged for trivial and asinine lawbreaking that no one is ever charged with. But they won’t get Trump himself one one damn thing.
That struck me as odd too. I could see maybe two or three interviews but it seems excessive, especially if you are supposedly telling the truth the entire time and every detail.
A box of copy paper is 5,000 sheets. A million documents would be 200 such cases. Justr the copy time alone is substantial. They must have multiple copies. Wow.
They will find something, if not they will make something up.
