A federal judge on Thursday agreed with Ghislaine Maxwell’s request to keep certain details in the criminal case against her secret — finding that information would be too “sensational and impure” to reveal to the public. US District Judge Alison J. Nathan issued a ruling on redactions that Maxwell had asked for regarding transcripts the government filed under seal last month. “Those portions of the transcript, which were redacted in the civil matter, concern privacy interests and their disclosure would merely serve to cater to a ‘craving for that which is sensational and impure,’” Nathan wrote in the order. The...

How did they not see this coming? United Auto Workers slammed Ford Motor Company’s plan to move construction of a new plant to Mexico rather than keep it in Ohio in a letter to the automaker Friday. “We 100% reject the company’s decision to put corporate greed and more potential profits over American jobs and the future of our members. We expect the company to honor its contractual commitments to this membership and when it fails to do so we will take action,” Gerald Kariem, vice president of the union’s Ford sector, said in the letter. “We are intensely exploring...

White House Press Secretary Jennifer Psaki shocked the internet when she drastically shifted the talking points on President Joe Biden’s major tax hike plans. Fox Business wasn’t having it. Psaki clarified during a press briefing Wednesday that “families” with household incomes totaling over $400,000 will see their taxes increase. The statement appeared to directly contradict Biden’s indication that individuals — not families — would see taxes increased during an interview with ABC News that aired the same day: “Yes, anybody making more than $400,000 will see a small to a significant tax increase … If you make less than $400,000,...

A bus on a busy street struck a Catholic man. He was lying near death on the sidewalk as a crowd gathered. "A priest. Somebody get me a priest!" the man screamed.. Long seconds dragged on but no one stepped out of the crowd. A policeman checked the crowd and finally yelled, "A PRIEST, PLEASE! Isn't there a priest in this crowd to give this man his last rites?" Finally, out of the crowd stepped a little old Jewish man in his 80s. "Mr. Policeman," said the man, "I'm not a priest. I'm not even a Christian. But for 50...

He got back up then carried on up the stairs before giving a salute at the top then disappearing into the aircraft. It is the latest...

President Joe Biden has turned down a debate challenge from Russian President Vladimir Putin after being called for labeling Putin a “killer” with no “soul,” in a massive optical foreign relations defeat for the Biden administration. The New York Post reported Thursday that White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki immediately shut down any prospects of a Biden-Putin debate. “I don’t have anything to report to you in terms of a future meeting. The president will, of course, be in Georgia tomorrow and quite busy,” Psaki said. As National File reported Thursday afternoon, Putin’s response to the Biden “killer” comments dealt a...

Joe Biden finally gives the state of the union address. He seems fine. Very articulate. He even seems to have more hair. What was all the fuss? Unlike this guy. Yes, this guy loved our military. He knows the difference between a man and a woman. Sure, we all felt safe. Sure, we had energy independence. Sure, we were building a wall and securing the border. Sure we had China on the ropes. Sure, we had historic job growth and low taxes. BUT! Joe Biden doesn't tweet mean things! Count your blessing people. No more mean tweets! Yes, Joe...

Cancel culture is coming for you, whether you know it or not. It’s not about your worldview. It’s about radicalizing everyday people whose inner turmoil will be directed at you.In October 2020, I wrote an opinion article for The Federalist entitled “More Va. Public Schools Using Kids As Guinea Pigs For Critical Race Theory.” As a parent in Loudoun County, Va., I had become extremely concerned that Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is being hijacked by rabid radicals eager to spend taxpayer money to indoctrinate teachers and students with critical race theory concepts. Among the many issues I highlighted included:...

With Lead-Free Projectiles here to stay, these are Eight Great All-Copper Bullets for Hunting, Shooting. I might be dating myself, but I am old enough to remember when unleaded gas was an option over regular (leaded) gasoline. Lead often gets a bad rap, due to its toxicity to people when exposed to high levels. However, the malleability of lead makes it an excellent choice for projectiles, especially during the centuries when firearms underwent radical developments. The simple muzzleloader, firing a patched round ball, could be well fed with a bullet mold and a healthy supply of lead. Our earliest projectiles...

When President Biden expressed support for a modest filibuster change this week, reform advocates took it as a major turning point. Their cause for celebration? The president was acknowledging that the fate of his agenda is tied to Senate procedure, which makes it difficult to deliver on campaign promises. And a stymied agenda could have consequences for the party. "It will be Armageddon," Democratic Senator Jeff Merkley told CBS News when asked whether Democrats will suffer in the midterms if they don't enact filibuster reforms. "Our base will be so dispirited, so angry, so disaffected. They will stay home. And...
