The Biden administration is showing "hypocrisy" by reopening a migrant facility that the Trump administration was criticized for using, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said on Thursday. "Do you think that the Democrats, who are crying those tears over the poor people they said Trump put in cages, do you think those might be tears of hypocrisy?" Paul told "America Reports." Paul noted that the cages and detention facilities were built under the Obama administration."They were used in the Trump administration. Now, they’re being reopened under the Biden administration," he said. "Count me [as] one who thinks that there's a load...

The Biden administration’s unbelievably lax immigration policies have resulted in a surge of immigrants at the border, which has led to the U.S. having to utilize more detention facilities. You know, the facilities that Biden and the Democrats cried about for the last 4 years, calling them “cages”. In Texas, Biden just re-opened a border facility that will only hold children unaccompanied by their parents to await processing. The Biden administration claims they had to open the facility, which was shut down during the Trump administration, to comply with COVID rules. That’s a major lie, says the former acting commissioner...

In his autobiography, "Up From the Projects," the late economist Walter Williams explained his move away from the belief that minimum wages help the poor. His change of heart on the topic began when one of his UCLA professors asked him whether he cared more about the intentions behind the minimum wage or its effects. Williams devoted much of his professional career to studying minimum wages and documenting their negative effects, particularly on young Black people. While Williams had the good sense to learn that good intentions alone are insufficient to produce good public policy, many others have failed to...

In this day in which society is traveling at EXPONENTIAL speeds, man's EXPONENTIAL advances in technology, abounding resources and abundance for the majority of the common man have advanced EXPONENTIALLY! The majority of Americans today think that they have no need for the ETERNAL things that their Creator offers them in RIGHTEOUSNESS and have deceived themselves into believing that their dead works are sufficient for the redemption of their souls (Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:2-4, Eph. 2:8-9, Rev. 3:14-22) Today's EXPERIENTIAL advances have opened wide the door for apostate Christian Americans and the West to gorge themselves on their basest desires,...

February is Black History Month and a time to celebrate the many significant and far reaching accomplishments of black Americans. Instead we’re endlessly bombarded by a vitriolic media, Hollywood, and academia with claims that America was founded on slavery. Christianity is rejected as "the white man's religion that justified slavery." A historical review shines the light of truth on these false charges. SlaveryDespite the assertion that America cornered the market on slavery, slavery has been a worldwide institution since the beginning of civilization. Thomas Sowell, renowned black economist and philosopher, provides insights about slavery in his book (chapter titled “Twisted...

Much like last year, many of Chicago's beloved St. Patrick's Day traditions won't be taking place next month as the city continues to discourage large gatherings in light of the ongoing pandemic. You may not be able to watch the dyeing of the Chicago River or attend a parade in March, but a couple of local brands are attempting to start a new St. Patrick's Day tradition that you might find appetizing. Eli's Cheesecake and Green River Soda have joined forces to create Eli's Green River Cheesecake, a neon green confection that combines the lime flavor of the Chicago soft...

The US military on Thursday struck a site in Syria used by two Iranian-backed militia groups in response to rocket attacks on American forces in the region in the past two weeks....."Up to a handful" of militants were killed in the strikes, a US official said. The strikes, which mark the US military's first known action under President Joe Biden, swiftly drew criticism from a Democratic lawmaker. The site was not specifically tied to the rocket attacks but Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said he was "confident" it was used by the same Iranian-backed Shia militias that had fired rockets...

The accusations come as one state lawmaker has similarly accused the governor of making harassing phone calls threatening his career. Pehme’s column, published in the New York Post, accuses Cuomo’s secretary Melissa DeRosa of “threatening to destroy me” fur running a negative story back in 2014. The former editor of City & State, a New York politics magazine, charges that while DeRosa was the one making the call,...

Gun control groups are playing a “long game” or better put, a “long con,” because they believe they will win in inches not miles. Today it is banning assault rifles, and once they get that they’ll move on. Anyone who actually believes these lobby groups will go away should think again. Not only because these individuals – misguided they may be by some accounts – believe in their cause, but it is an industry now.

Going back to the drawing board again could see the ageing F-16’s replaced in 2040, once they’re 60 years old. The United States Air Force announced the need for a new multi-use fighter jet to replace its aging F-16 fleet, while stressing that it would not feature the same high-price tag and technological prowess of the F-35. The announcement, made by Air Force Chief of Staff General Charles Brown came as a surprise to defence analysts, given that the F-35 was pegged as the modern fifth generation aircraft that would replace the F-16. How clueless is the District Attorney's office in Philadelphia under D.A. Larry Krasner? Yesterday morning, Assistant District Attorney Lyandra Retacco stood in front of Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Patrick Dugan, to discuss the whereabouts of one Jaleel Uqdah, 22, of West Philadelphia. Mr. Uqdah had a status conference scheduled in front of the judge because he had been arrested during the George Floyd riots last June for allegedly breaking into a Family Dollar store and doing some free shopping. Of course, Uqdah got a get-out-of-jail free card from his Uncle Larry shortly after his arrest, and so he was...

China's greatest financial weakness remains its continued dependence on Western capital markets, crucial for a growing economy that, if official statistics are to be believed, is trying to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic's toll. To grow, China depends on massive inflows of capital that surge through the capital markets based in the U.S. The Trump administration made several moves during its term to delist Chinese companies that are not forthcoming about who really owns them and what businesses they are really engaged in. In addition, since 2013, Chinese state-owned enterprises (SEOs) have enjoyed exemptions from Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements...

Following the Biden administration’s decision to bomb Syria yesterday, social media turned on Democrats who have complained in the past about President Trump’s airstrikes. Conveniently, most have willfully forgotten their old Tweets, but thankfully Senator Rand Paul is here to remind them. “I condemn meddling in Syria’s civil war. I also condemn attacking a sovereign nation without authority,” he Tweeted. “What authority does @POTUS have to strike Syria? Perhaps someone should ask his @PressSec today?” Paul was referencing a 2018 Tweet from Psaki who unwisely questioned presidential authority on the matter. “Also what is the legal authority for strikes? Assad...

The clothing company allegedly forced its white employees to participate in a training program that asked them to consider ways in which they might be racist. =========================================================== According to a whistleblower, fitness clothing company Under Armour forced its white employees last year to participate in a live training session that asked them to consider ways in which they might be racist or privileged and urged them to have “a little more going on than, we just were taught to see everybody as equal.” Under Armour’s white employees were required in the spring of 2020 to participate in the diversity training...
