The FLCCC Alliance wishes to respond to Merck’s public statements on February 4th, claiming a lack of sufficient evidence for ivermectin’s efficacy in COVID-19.* Merck’s assessments of ivermectin’s efficacy in COVID-19 are in striking contrast with the findings reported by multiple expert group’s systematic reviews from across the globe, including metaanalyses of the updated scientific literature: a. Axios, a left-leaning news organization, deleted a tweet fact-checking a claim made by Vice President Kamala Harris, which fact-checkers rated as “wrong,” after Harris started to face backlash over her false claims. The tweet contained a video of a portion of an interview that Harris gave to Axios co-founder Mike Allen, which aired over the weekend. In the video, Harris was asked about the Biden administration’s response to the pandemic. “There was no stockpile … of vaccines,” Harris claimed. “There was no national strategy or plan for vaccinations. We were leaving it to the states and local leaders to try...

File this under; First World Problems...I enjoy many types of music. I'm still buying CDs to increase my collection. I have been trying to replace a certain recording of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos. I had this one CD with no cover that I often listened to, but lost it during a move. I've been trying to replace that favored recording, but everything I've purchased since then has a very quick pace. I am in no 'hurry' to finish hearing the music. In fact, I'd prefer to prolong the experience. If I wanted to hear Brandenbrg #5 with all the harpsichord sounding...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — It was a promising COVID-19 treatment last year that is now sitting in stockpiles across the country. Hydroxychloroquine did not turn out to be the miracle drug once touted by the former president and sought out by Florida's governor. Instead, it has become a commodity for which the state has little use. Last April, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced he had secured a million doses of hydroxychloroquine from Israel at no cost to the state. The Republican and close ally of, at that time, President Donald Trump hosted a roundtable with doctors who supported the use of the...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried unveiled an online video Tuesday many politicos are calling the strongest proof yet Florida's sole statewide elected Democrat is preparing to challenge Gov. Ron DeSantis next year when he runs for re-election. The video features Fried speaking directly to the camera, condemning DeSantis' handling of the coronavirus pandemic. "This pandemic has been painful," she says in the video. "While he lashes out at everyone else like he's the victim, we all know who the real victims are: every Floridian who's lost a loved one, lost a job, lost a way of life." Democratic...

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Tuesday that Iran has informed the agency that it plans to halt snap nuclear inspections outside of its declared sites. “Iran informed the IAEA on Feb 15 that the country will stop implementing voluntary transparency measures under the JCPOA as of Feb 23, including the Additional Protocol,” said the UN’s nuclear watchdog in a statement quoted by Reuters. The Additional Protocol of Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, known as the JCPOA, allows IAEA inspectors to visit undeclared sites in Iran at short notice. …

Porch pirates, beware: this is 'Murica. Watch this thief get caught red-handed by a homeowner who comes out with a locked and loaded rifle: [Warning: Language] Thought 1: I love how the criminal's ride totally ditches him. Thought 2: That homeowner should have had his rifle at the ready and positioned himself behind cover lest the porch pirate was packing. Thought 3: God bless America. https://twitter.com/JaieNoel/status/1361497293837451264

Ice-coated outskirts, pagan New Year, roadside cafe waitresses, village schools - all this and more in local photographer Alexei Vasiliev's depiction of daily life in Russia's coldest region. Yakutia is Russia's largest region-five times the area of, for example, France. The distances between towns and villages here can stretch to 1,500-2,000 km. It is also home to the coldest place in the world, where snow can fall in June and the mercury can drop below -50C in winter. The Yakut frost and vicious mosquitoes are the stuff of legend and the subject of many online memes. Getting to Yakutia from...

At least 30 Taliban members died after an explosive device detonated during a bomb-making tutorial in Afghanistan’s northern Balkh province over the weekend, the Defense Post reported on Tuesday. A group of Taliban jihadists gathered at a mosque in the village of Qultaq on February 13 to receive training on how to assemble bombs and improvised explosive devices (IED). An explosive device accidentally detonated, killing at least “30 Taliban fighters including six foreign nationals who were expert mine makers,” according to the Afghan Army’s 209th Shaheen Corps, which confirmed the deadly blast in a statement released Saturday. The bodies of...

A Chicago man devised an unorthodox way to reserve a parking spot — by freezing his denim pants, so they stand upright in the desired space. His only-in-the-Windy-City method of calling dibs has taken social media by storm. “Polar vortex fun: pants with nobody inside them!” wrote West Ridge’s Adam Selzer in a tweet with more than 1,300 likes. An accompanying photo shows his frozen pants standing in a parking spot as if H.G. Wells’ “Invisible Man” is guarding the space. To accomplish the in-jean-ious lifehack, the local tour guide explains that one simply needs to soak a pair of...

Heavy rains followed by an extended drought, an increase in local consumption and a drop in the number of marijuana farmers have caused a shortage in the island’s famed but largely illegal market that experts say is the worst they’ve seen. “It’s a cultural embarrassment,” said Triston Thompson, chief opportunity explorer for Tacaya, a consulting and brokerage firm for the country’s nascent legal cannabis industry. Jamaica, which foreigners have long associated with pot, reggae and Rastafarians, authorized a regulated medical marijuana industry and decriminalized small amounts of weed in 2015.

Joe Biden traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin Tuesday evening to participate in a CNN presidential town hall. Biden stole Wisconsin with a big vote dump in the middle of the night after Election Day so no doubt CNN will use Democrat plants tonight during their event. Joe Biden started the night with a huge whopper of a lie. Biden told Anderson Cooper that there was no Covid vaccine when he got into office. Thanks to President Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed,” a Covid vaccine was approved and ready to be distributed by October/November. The Biden Admin inherited Trump’s vaccination program already meeting...

So people died, and Cuomo lied, and now you’re up to date on Andrewgate. What’s next? Doubtless a lurch to the left, as the governor moves to protect his most vulnerable flank while preparing for an expected fourth-term re-election bid. Also more lies. Many more. Nonsensical deflections and outrageous fabrications come reflexively to Cuomo, as he twists in a windstorm of his own making. A less fearful, more self-confident governor — Mario Cuomo, perhaps, or certainly fellow Democrat Hugh L. Carey — would have admitted upfront that a fateful, though defensible, error had been made last March. That’s when the...

She turned to me the other morning and said, “You heard of The Gateway?” It didn’t register in the moment. She continued, “It’s blowing up on TikTok.” Later on, she elaborated: it was not in fact the ill-fated 90s computer hardware company folks were freaking out about. No, they’ve gone further back in time, to find a true treasure of functional media. The intrigue revolves around a classified 1983 CIA report on a technique called the Gateway Experience, which is a training system designed to focus brainwave output to alter consciousness and ultimately escape the restrictions of time and space. The...

The power disaster unfolding in California will soon occur across the country, if Joe Biden gets his way. At the end of January I watched a video message from the commissioners of the suburban Philadelphia county where my wife and I reside. According to them, it may take Pennsylvania up to a year to administer COVID vaccinations to all persons over the age of 65. We oldsters (my wife and I are 76) were told to register with the county and prepare for a long wait. This information decided the issue of whether or not we should take up residence in Florida for the remaining winter months. Not only would the weather be more congenial, according to our...
