The power disaster unfolding in California will soon occur across the country, if Joe Biden gets his way. The Golden State has been sweeping away the forms of energy that have provided reliable electricity for decades, under the same agenda the former vice president is planning for America as a whole.

Arizona has the Pali Verde Nuclear Generating Station and California buys power from us, but since they are so against nuclear I’m sure they will stop buying power from us. That might help us make it through the summer.

Yep. What we are seeing in California and Texas will happen to rest of America. You’ll have no power when the blizzard comes in the middle of winter because wind and solar power will no longer be working by then (duh).

I’d be off grid if I could have cheaper backup power. Anybody making an electrolyzer/fuel cell unit for homes?

Here in Arkansas First Electric and Entergy Arkla are doing rolling blackouts tonight because the temperature is 20 degrees WARMER than last night (No Blackouts).

We are expecting snow tonight but not sleet. No one lost power over the last 10 inches, would expect the same outcome from additional 5-8 inches.

If I was guessing, IMO these utilities are selling high priced power to the Midwest states at our expense, especially since Arkansans have cut power usage to ensure our neighbors can stay warm during this Storm.

Well Entergy and First Electric?

Yes and you can store some power.

However winter months in most cold very places in America can’t handle a normal households’ requirements for energy. In spring and fall, more so, summer, the best chance to do so

But then again not everyone buys enough solar panels to generate enough energy to cover everything, and efficiency drops over time. Some folks also have non-ideal placement of panels due to house orientation and trees, that affects how much energy they can collect.

Look at Texas. Who knew Biden would manage to do it so fast?

IF Nevada gets hit-they will be in a dilemma:

Keep the lights on for their own residents-—by not fulfilling contracts to sell power to Calif....

OR our lights go out to fulfill such contracts.
