While the media and Democrats demonize Parler, and it was de-platformed by Google, Apple, and Amazon, it’s clear that leftist social media giants were a hub for alleged criminal behavior A trove of documents released by the Department of Justice reveals that their investigations leading to arrests in the Capitol riot focused almost entirely on big tech platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, with little to no mentions of Parler. A stunning (to some) revelation that exposes the Left’s claim that Parler was uniquely responsible, and completely destroys big tech’s excuse for their deplatforming. Parler’s success rattled the left,...

President Biden early on is touting his insistence on “ethics” from cabinet nominees and professional staff, and who can argue with that? But it will take more than a signed piece of paper to guard against the conflicts of interest and invitations to collusion that arise when professional activists from the outside suddenly find themselves on the inside, with the levers of federal power within easy reach. ...For example, Biden’s pick to advise the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is leaving her post as an Earthjustice attorney. Just last year, Earthjustice initiated a lawsuit to halt offshore drilling in the...

United Nations inspectors have found new evidence of undeclared nuclear activities in Iran, according to three diplomats briefed on the discovery, raising new questions about the scope of the country’s atomic ambitions. Samples taken from two sites during inspections in the fall by the U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Agency contained traces of radioactive material, the diplomats said, that could indicate Iran has undertaken work on nuclear weapons, based on where it was found. The diplomats said they didn’t know the exact nature of what was found. Last year, Iran blocked IAEA inspectors from checking the sites involved for seven months,...

In an extremely unsettling video posted to social media, a trans parent (a man who dresses like a woman) is seen, in what can only be called child abuse, coaxing and encouraging a small child to adopt a transgender lifestyle. This will turn your stomach. There is no one who will not feel at least unease watching this, left, right or other. Because our human rejection of this disgusting mistreatment of children is instinctive, immediate, and correct. It’s hard to contain in words the revulsion this video prompts, but there is some communication of it by the preponderance of the...

A new and rapidly growing journalistic “beat” has arisen over the last several years that can best be described as an unholy mix of junior high hall-monitor tattling and Stasi-like citizen surveillance. It is half adolescent and half malevolent. Its primary objectives are control, censorship, and the destruction of reputations for fun and power. Though its epicenter is the largest corporate media outlets, it is the very antithesis of journalism. I’ve written before about one particularly toxic strain of this authoritarian “reporting.” Teams of journalists at three of the most influential corporate media outlets — CNN’s “media reporters” (Brian Stelter...

Last week President Biden signed an executive order to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords. This was a mostly symbolic gesture, as the same alarmism being pushed prior to the agreement in 2016 is still being pushed now while nation-states like China are still ignoring it. Now Biden administration climate envoy John Kerry, under fire for boarding a private jet to Iceland to accept a climate award, is telling the United States and the world that the conditions of the Paris agreement are ‘inadequate’.

Michael Crichton pointed out that two 20th century scientific theories, eugenics and Lysenkoism, were broadly accepted by the expert community not because they predicted anything accurately but as a result of becoming too politically prestigious to dispute. From michaelcrichton.com:Imagine that there is a new scientific theory that warns of an impending crisis, and points to a way out. This theory quickly draws support from leading scientists, politicians and celebrities around the world. Research is funded by distinguished philanthropies, and carried out at prestigious universities. The crisis is reported frequently in the media. The science is taught in college and high school...

This rather curious article in Time (yes, Time still exists) is getting a lot of attention. You might think that the title of this post is fanciful or facetious, but it’s pretty much a summary of the self-congratulatory title of the piece (by Molly Ball): “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.”Our rescuers:There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed...

These shows used to exist for the enjoyment of all Americans, but now they parrot DNC talking points, demean traditional American beliefs, and mock anything to the right of Bernie Sanders. They really enjoyed bashing Trump nightly, but now that he is gone they’re making up for it with other topics.A recent episode of ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ targeted the nation’s founders.Brian Flood reports at FOX News:Stephen Colbert’s writer calls for reparations, calls Founding Fathers slave-owning ‘douche nozzles’“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” writer...

Until now, did you even know that the state had a $130,000-a-year “undersecretary of climate change?” Or that his job description includes, in the bragging coat holder’s own words, “breaking the will” of the working classes of Massachusetts by raising the cost of fuel so high that they can no longer afford to either heat their homes or drive their cars? Andrew Torba, the devout Christian, free-speech CEO of GAB took to his own platform tonight to write a blistering rebuke of a rumor being spread about President Trump posting from his account on Twitter. In his message to Gab users, Torba explained who was behind the rumor, and then, the Gab CEO dropped a bombshell about why Trump remained off social media since he left the White House. Here is Torba’s message: @realdonaldtrump is and always has been a mirror archive of POTUS’ tweets and statements that we’ve run for years. We’ve always been transparent about this and would obviously let...

Colette Maze says she began playing the piano when she was four years old to find in music the warmth absent in her strict upbringing. Today, at the age of 106, her playing still exudes great tenderness and sitting at the piano – one of four in her Paris apartment – her agile fingers seem to barely touch the keys as she sways to the sounds of Schumann, Debussy and Chopin. “It’s my food, my food for the spirit and for the heart”, Maze, a small, vivacious woman, told Reuters. Born in 1914 into a middle class family, she was...

Last week saw tons of absolutely Required Reading assignments being handed out here at DBDailyUpdate, and this week is starting off with a bang, too. Over at Substack.com, Glenn Greenwald – the only remaining liberal voice in American media worth following – has a terrific piece in which he exposes the corrupt news media “tattletale” titans. From pudgy little Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy at CNN to NBC’s Ben Collins and the New York Times trio of Mike Isaac, Kevin Roose, and Sheera Frenkel, the media’s brigade of Nazi-style speech cops has gained out-sized influence over the speech-controlling mindset at...

After data was shared last week suggesting that the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID vaccine is substantially less effective against the new COVID variant first isolated in South Africa, it looks like more questions about the efficacy of the first wave of vaccines are about to be raised, as the FT warns of a new study showing that the AZ vaccine is even less effective against the SA variant than initially believed, and often fails to prevent infections involving the new strain. According to the FT, although none of the more than 2K, mostly healthy and young patients in the study died or...

The book was missing! The directors was certain it was on his desk when he went home that night but it completely vanished! In a Christian camp no less, two days 200 kids would show up, and there were only 6 persons who could be suspects: the life guard, nurse, the coach, the cook, the secretary and the groundskeeper. Moreover, there was one piece of evidence as a clue to who the guilty party was, and that was a broken carrot. The directors book - "How to become a Christian?" - was considered essential for the coming camp event And...
