Myrick, 37, had worked with Roxy for four years, inspecting commercial and residential properties, before he was laid off from the company in March. Although the dog had been provided by M&M, which covered her food and veterinary bills, she’s lived with Myrick and his wife, Joana, since he fetched Roxy from a dog-training facility in Florida. (M&M paid for her training.) But things turned ruff when, not long after the pandemic started, he chose to be laid off rather than pivot and work for M&M as a COVID cleaner without Roxy. He returned his company vehicle, credit cards and...

Now that recorded music is no longer confined to a 74 minute compact disc, we are seeing a plethora of "deluxe editions" of classic studio albums from the past. So now you get the original 10-12 tracks ("remastered") as well as a dozens of obscurities, such as live tracks, demo versions of hit songs, b-sides, remixes, or outtakes that never made it out of the recording studio - until now. Is this a good thing? For example, the deluxe album of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours features close to 70 tracks - enough to fill 6 compact discs. The "uber Deluxe" version...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three grand jurors in the Breonna Taylor case have filed a petition to impeach Attorney General Daniel Cameron, accusing him of committing "misdemeanors in office" that include lying to them about the Taylor investigation. The petition, filed with the state House of Representatives on Friday, accuses Cameron of lying repeatedly to citizens about what was presented to the grand jury reviewing the March 13 fatal shooting of Taylor by Louisville police. The grand jurors, who are not identified in the petition, claim Cameron (R) and his employees excluded information from jurors, and misled them and citizens in...

YouTube has deleted thousands of dislikes on videos that were uploaded to the official White House YouTube channel by the Biden administration during its first day in office. On some videos, YouTube’s purging of dislikes resulted in the dislike to like ratio temporarily dropping from 6.7 to 1.3 – a change that drastically alters the public perception of a video. When there are 6.7 dislikes for every like, a video seems wildly unpopular but when there are 1.3 dislikes for every like, it seems like the video is getting a mixed response from viewers.

75 Days After Election . . . USCCB Finally Confronts Biden On AbortionOn the morning of January 20, USCCB President José Gomez released a statement on the inauguration of Joe Biden, promising prayers and repeating many of the conference’s familiar buzzwords regarding its Social Justice agenda. Pope Francis, never a fan of President Trump, had also sent a warm message to Biden, and we expected that Gomez would continue in the same vein on his own. But after his generic greeting, the archbishop of Los Angeles made what must be seen as a stunning departure from the Conference’s usual aversion...

Is there are rumor out there that there was just hours ago an attempt on AOC's life? OR possibly a "plot" uncovered to do so, sort of like the Whitmer "kidnapping"?

DON'T GET NUKED The Navy and Marine Corps rightly spend much of their time on chemical, biological and radiological training. As bombs and triggering devices become more mobile and terrorists become more sophisticated, it is important to prepare ourselves for disaster while hoping that it will be avoided. Regarding chemical and biological warfare, it is especially difficult to believe that something so small and invisible can be so deadly and dangerous. Just a little toxin in the air . . . and the next thing you know you're doing the "funky chicken" on the ground. Bad attitudes can be...

More than £1 billion in debt and just hours before a meeting where he would be asked to explain a £38 million hole in his Mirror Newspapers' pension funds, Robert Maxwell's 22st body was found floating in the sea near the Canary Islands. Last Sunday, in the first part of our serialisation of a gripping new biography of the tycoon, we told of the run-up to his death. Here, in the final extract, we tell how the fall-out from it still reverberates today. Within hours of Robert Maxwell's death on November 5, 1991, tributes from world leaders began pouring in....

A geophysicist from Colorado allegedly dragged a police officer down a set of stairs during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot — and then bought a plane ticket to Switzerland and attempted suicide in Westchester County in the days after the siege, it was revealed in court Friday. Jeffrey Sabol, 51, was ordered held without bail at his initial court appearance in White Plains federal court, where a judge called the evidence against him “very disturbing and deeply troubling.” “That conduct is beyond the pale,” Judge Andrew Krause said.

BEIJING continues to beef up its military capabilities in and around the South China Sea, as it seeks to assert its complete control over the disputed waters. Besides the new aircraft deployments, the Chinese military appears to be pushing ahead with the construction of a dry dock at its Yulin naval complex east of Sanya. The dimensions of the new dock would suggest that it will be capable of housing China's aircraft carriers as well as destroyer and cruiser fleets. The naval base is already home to the Chinese navy's conventional and nuclear powered submarines. All these measures significantly increase...

President Joe Biden’s United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Thursday stopped executive orders from his predecessor designed to significantly lower prescription drug prices for Americans, including insulin and epinephrine. The new administration will apparently re-evaluate the executive action from President Donald Trump toward the end of March. It remains unclear if it will be reinstated. “The HHS Thursday froze the former Trump administration’s December drug policy that requires community health centers to pass on all their insulin and epinephrine discount savings to patients,” Bloomberg Law reported Thursday. “Centers that don’t pass on the savings wouldn’t qualify...

The mess that President Joe Biden inherited from former President Donald Trump is depicted on the new cover of Time. The front page of the magazine’s Feb. 1 / Feb. 8 double issue shows Biden pensively looking out of a trashed Oval Office’s window, which appears to be surrounded by flames. Graffiti is scrawled on a curtain and the Resolute Desk, which is buried under documents and fast food cartons. A telephone lies on the floor, near one of Trump’s signature red “Make America Great Again” caps and a bullhorn.

The Army Research Laboratory wants to grow living muscles for robots The team says the living tissue would replace actuators that hold joints This would give robots similar agility and versatility to biological systems The goal of this project is to create robots that can travel where humans can'tCombining living tissue with cold metal robots may sound like a plot from the James Cameron film 'Terminator,' but the idea is being developed for real-world machines at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The US military group is working on a series of 'biohybrid robotics' that integrates living organisms into mechanical systems...

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Former president Donald Trump threw himself back into politics this weekend by publicly endorsing a devoted and divisive acolyte in Arizona who has embraced his false election conspiracy theories and entertained the creation of a new “MAGA Party.” In a recorded phone call, he offered his “complete and total endorsement” for another term for Arizona state party chairwoman Kelli Ward, a lightning rod who has sparred with the state’s Republican governor, been condemned by the business community and overseen a recent flight in party registrations. She narrowly won reelection, by a margin of 51.5 percent to...

The blizzard of emails around this FRAUD of the "Stealection" caused me to overlook one of the most important issues of Hillsdale College's excellent "IMPRIMIS" newsletter. The link below will take you to it: IMPRIMISIf you're not hooked after the first 4 paragraphs, let me know and I'll remove you from this list. As you read this, we're in trouble. This last "Stealection" was STOLEN by leftists who, for past and future promises of wealth and power, have literally invited an alien ideology into the deepest reaches of what was once the "America" left us by the Founders. If not...

“We’re not gonna unite,” Kelly said. “It’s all nonsense. I like a good inauguration and a good speech just as much as anybody and I feel patriotic whenever I witness them and I root for the president and I root for America in the way that you described.”
