75 Days After Election . . . USCCB Finally Confronts Biden On Abortion

On the morning of January 20, USCCB President José Gomez released a statement on the inauguration of Joe Biden, promising prayers and repeating many of the conference’s familiar buzzwords regarding its Social Justice agenda.

Pope Francis, never a fan of President Trump, had also sent a warm message to Biden, and we expected that Gomez would continue in the same vein on his own.

But after his generic greeting, the archbishop of Los Angeles made what must be seen as a stunning departure from the Conference’s usual aversion to confronting absolute evils: “I must point out,” he wrote, “that our new President has pledged to pursue certain policies that would advance moral evils and threaten human life and dignity, most seriously in the areas of abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender. Of deep concern is the liberty of the Church and the freedom of believers to live according to their consciences.”
Note: We should not let the archbishop’s mild-mannered prose distract us: “concern” is the USCCB’s most emphatic noun of choice.

Again, the “Catholic leaders” do the minimum, but its STILL more than the “Baptist leaders” have done in “speaking out” against Kamala Harris being pro-abortion. I have yet to see an example of a single Bapist pastor tell Harris she is not welcome to receive communion at his church until she repents of her abortion-on-demand views.

Hilling children is murder. Biden is a man who understands this. What the hell is wrong with him that he will go this way? What is wrong with Kamala Harris that she would go this way? And how about Pelosi, why would she go this way? Political expediency? Come on, you are grown ups! Start acting like ones. Stop the killing of babies!

ANY so-called "Christian" denomination or group that fails to denounce, without ambivalence, the murder of children is unfit to lead or claim a mantle of Christ or God.

The Catholics aren't the only ones, but they ARE the most prominent and the ones who wear their piety on their sleeves.

Well, Biden is coming up on his first Sunday in the White House. Will he go to Mass? Where? Will the priest give him Communion? He’s not in Delaware anymore.

The "Pope" leads the "church". The Cardinals and Bishops and on down to the lowly Priests have done nothing to prohibit or ban the likes of Biden, Pelosi, Kennedy, etc. This has been going on for years. No excommunications or denials of communion. Mere lip service, like this empty offering to the ignorant and deluded followers of a bankrupt and corrupt entity. I see no conviction of belief when the evil doers continue to enjoy the privileges of belonging yet still act in the ways of Moloch.

what's worse is when they are defended.

Not true. There is a remnant few of faithful catholics.

Catholic priest was correct to deny communion to Joe Biden — here's why

Biden, Pelosi, Cuomo and the rest can rightfully use their continued membership in the “body” as a political positive because they have NOT been kicked out and condemned. Pointing out one priest is more an aberration. Biden, for example, can claim his “Catholicism” for political points, knowing the church hasn’t the guts or the commitment to principles to stop him. The effect is to show the hollowness of Catholic canons. If the horrendous sin of murder can go unpunished, why bother following any other tenet. Do whatever you want, commit any sin, flip the finger to God because the Church doesn’t care.

Like I said, a “remnant few”. No different than ancient times.

Rejecting it is your choice.

You’re right. Those who reject Canon 1398 are apostates.
