The swearing-in this week of Sarah McBride, the first transgender woman to become a member of the Delaware State Senate, inspired taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) to interview Imara Jones, a transgender woman who rejects the assertion that there are two biological sexes. Jones runs the TransLash Media website, and her resume includes being the recipient of the Open Society Foundations Soros Equality Fellowship in 2019, a $100,000 grant for an 18-month fellowship. Jones praised President-elect Joe Biden for his public rejection of two biological sexes and embrace of gender identity, instead. “And I think that we need to have...

Amazon has terminated its hosting contract with Parler, claiming that language users posted to the social media platform might “incite violence.” The tech giant, however, hosts merchants on its own website selling products that many would say could incite violence, such as a t-shirt reading, “Kill All Republicans,” and a mug that reads, “Where is Lee Harvey Oswald now that we really need him?” The Media Research Center has found at least 204 examples of products sold on Amazon that promote violence, many of which target President Donald Trump, Republicans, and law enforcement. One product, sold by the vendor Florence...

During Friday’s Democratic Weekly Address, incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) stated that Senate Democrats will “conduct a rigorous investigation of the events” leading up to the Capitol riot, “including the role of white supremacy, disinformation, and the gross disparity in force between the Trump administration’s response to the Capitol rioters and the administration’s response to the racial justice protesters last summer.”

James Murdoch claimed on Friday that U.S. news outlets will be faced with a 'reckoning' after last week's deadly pro-Trump riot at the U.S. Capitol. In an interview with the Financial Times, the 48-year-old blamed 'media property owners' for unleashing 'insidious and uncontrollable forces' with their support of disinformation about the 2020 election. James, the youngest son of billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch, also claimed that media groups fueled the riot by leading 'a substantial portion' of the public to believe 'a falsehood' about the election.

New York prosecutors conducted an hours-long interview of Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, about his old employer's finances. The interview with the 54-year-old, took place on Thursday, sources told Associated Press (AP). At least 10 state health departments in the United States have detected the highly contagious B.1.1.7 variant of COVD-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, according to a new report. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in an update on Jan. 15, said that a “more highly transmissible variant of SARS-CoV-2, B.1.1.7, has been detected in 10 U.S. states.” SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the coronavirus that is believed to have emerged in Wuhan, China, in late 2019. Health officials warned that models have shown the B.1.1.7 strain of the virus has the...

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) declared that roughly 'a third' of all Republicans would leave the party if GOP senators team up with Democrats to impeach President Donald Trump as the lame duck president seeks to punish the 10 Republican representatives that voted for impeachment. Speaking with Fox News host Laura Ingraham Friday, Paul claimed that efforts to impeach Trump after he incited the mob last week were 'purely a partisan thing.' 'I didn't agree with the fight that happened last week, and I voted against overturning the election,' Paul said.

I’ve sold mostly books on Amazon for about 12 years, excellent customer service and compliance to the extent a person can remain compliant with the constantly moving targets. You don’t keep bucking the AZ bronco for 12 years without being thrown minus doing things right. In total I’ve carried about 15,000 titles, currently over 5,000 in inventory. Lots of interesting and often rare stuff, all genres, many academic titles. The account despite excellent metrics is now showing as At Risk with 3 Restricted Policy Violations because Amazon has without warning banned 3 titles for content. The first was a college...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi did not answer when asked on Friday about when she plans to send the single impeachment article against President Donald Trump to the Senate, which would begin the trial process in that chamber. “We’re working on taking this to trial...and you’ll be the first to know when we announce that we’re going over there,” Pelosi told reporters at a briefing, noting that the House had just passed the article on Wednesday.

A Grand Crossing man stole a towing company’s truck and then called 911 himself because he was upset that the truck’s driver dared to pull a gun on him, prosecutors said. Elliott Scott, 22, is charged with aggravated possession of a stolen motor vehicle, misdemeanor theft, and driving on a suspended or revoked license. “Mr. Scott called 911?” a befuddled Judge Charles Beach asked prosecutors after hearing their allegations. “Yeah,” Scott interjected. “Right.” Scott’s defense attorney quickly advised him, “it’s not best to talk about the charges” in court.

The question I have is: Is now a good or bad time to get invested in residential property? At first glance, it looks bad given what we are about to experience starting January 20th. However, with property getting snatched up sight-unseen by those fleeing the cities for way more than it's worth, supply will dry up fast. With the dollar reaching it's day of reckoning, and with interest rates likely to go up, I'm feeling a sense of urgency on this. Freepers are always a great resource of knowledge and wit, and I'd like some informed opinions if any care...

Of all 150 Psalms, Psalm 34 is my absolute favorite. It is all about our Lord’s faithfulness to deliver his children from great trials and crises. David declares, “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears…The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them…The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles… Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:4,7,17,19). Note David’s claim in this Psalm: “I sought the Lord…this...

“Let your way of life be free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,’ so that we confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What shall man do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:5-6). Your relationship with God allows you to enjoy genuine contentment. In view of yesterday’s lesson, you may be asking, “But how can I enjoy contentment and be satisfied with what I have?” You can begin by realizing God’s goodness and believing that He...

A newly elected Republican member of Congress says she’ll file articles of impeachment against President-elect Joe Biden on Jan. 21, one day after his inauguration. U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) told Newsmax on Wednesday that she plans to introduce a measure to impeach Biden on his first full day in office next week. “I would like to announce on behalf of the American people, we have to make sure our leaders are held accountable, we cannot have a President of the United States who is willing to abuse the power of the office of the presidency and be easily...
