Discussed on Rush today: =========== The Sovietization of California -------------- By Dennis Prager December 22, 2020 6 min read I am writing this column upon returning home to California after five days in Florida. For the first time since my first trip to Los Angeles in 1974 and moving there two years later, I dreaded going to California. That first trip, as a 25-year-old New Yorker, I experienced the palpable excitement looking at the American Airlines flight board at JFK airport and seeing "Los Angeles." For most Americans, the very name "California" elicited excitement, wonder, even envy of Californians, and...

Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), once thought to be a rising star in the Democratic Party, has been repeatedly shunned for her populist, anti-war, and pro-reality convictions that no longer align with her progressive comrades. More recently, Gabbard has been attacked relentlessly by leftists on Twitter for daring to protect women’s sports in the transgender athlete debate. Many sports, including track, cycling, martial arts, and wrestling, have started to see total domination by transwomen allowed to compete against biological females. So Gabbard proposed a bill, the Protect Women’s Sports Act, to grant Title IX protections for female athletes based on biological sex,...

Solomon was blessed with much Wisdom and knowledge which allowed him to discover many things about the world around him. Solomon is credited with writing the book of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, the Song of Solomon, and 2 Psalms 72 & 127. Throughout his writings Solomon shared the Wisdom and knowledge God had blessed him with. He was so admired by all the Kings and Queens of other countries that they sought out his Wisdom and paid tribute to him. Like Solomon, we too can better understand the world God created for us if we truly desire to. It has always...

I don't want to link directly, and it's not exactly holiday reading, Raw Story's hit piece on President Trump. After all, why bring trash into one's home through your computer monitor "for Christmas", amIright?Dr. Brandy X. Lee's article, titled Here's why it is necessary to speak out about Trump's psychological dangerousness and lack of mental capacity, was published Dec. 23, 2020, as a Christmas stocking stuffer for Dems.I think a quote can help you glean where Lee's article is headed: "Yes, a forensic psychiatrist works at the interface of psychiatry and the law, which is what I have done for...

A law school professor called for “vote reparations” for black people to make elections fairer by giving them twice the voting power of other citizens. "Vote reparations would empower us to replace oppressive institutions with life-affirming structures of economic, social, and political equality," Brandon Hasbrouck, an assistant professor at the Washington and Lee University School of Law, wrote in the Nation last week. "And if our elected representatives did not prioritize this transformational work, we could vote them out." Hasbrouck, who teaches race relations law and a class on critical race theory, argued that the “core problem” of the United...

U.S. Senate candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock’s wife told a police officer in March that her husband is "a great actor" and "phenomenal at putting on a really good show" after Warnock denied her allegations that he deliberately ran over her foot. Before the text messages threatening to kill his family, Drew Pavlou gathered a small group of students on a busy walkway at the University of Queensland to protest the Chinese government’s repression of Uighur Muslims and crackdown on Hong Kong. “Hey-hey, ho-ho — Xi Jinping has got to go!” As he denounced the Communist leader, hundreds of counter-demonstrators massed around a colonnade at the campus in Brisbane, Australia. Some were students from China; others appeared older. They yelled pro-Beijing slogans and played the Chinese national anthem over loudspeakers. *** Things quickly turned violent. A man in the crowd rushed at...

The Democrats will raise the cry "Voter Supression!" every time any attempt is made to enforce the idea of Voter ID where the voter has to obtain picture ID from DMV or other "government" source. (We won't get into proving citizenship, which is another no-no.) I propose an alternative: election bureaus snap a picture of the voter at the time of registration or re-registration. At the polls, the "front desk" will pull up that picture when the voter presents himself/herself.

....... terrifying for white people -- and that's what this is about -- that people of color are threatening them so deeply that they are willing to dismiss democratic tenets? And I'm just repeating what I said earlier because I have no other explanation, Joe. There's nothing else there. We could put the 10 smartest scholars in the room. That's it -- I'm saying the quiet part out loud. It's no other explanation, and that's what we have to deal with in this country right now. .We're a divided country, and it's about race. I don't care what anybody else...

Fox News contributor Karl Rove on Tuesday criticized former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and lawyer Sidney Powell for the “idiotic” ideas they are pushing to President Donald Trump on overturning the results of the 2020 election. Anchor John Roberts said, “I want to ask you about these meetings that the president has been having a close group of allies about what to do regarding what happens on January 6… that some members of the House may oppose the seating of electors from their states. And then there’s other things that have been kicked around, too, which the president denies,...
