The White House is monitoring a plague outbreak in Russia after a lab technician died and hundreds of people she came into contact with were placed in quarantine.
An official with the Trump administration told Axios on Sunday that the administration is 'aware, monitoring the outbreak, and assessing options.'
Darya Shipilova, 28, was reportedly working at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute in Siberia when she was exposed to pneumonic plague

She then became unwell while on a field expedition with colleagues in Buryatia, beside Russia's eastern border with Mongolia.
Shipilova was admitted to hospital on September 29 and placed on a ventilator but died two days later.
She came into contact with roughly 200 people, who are now being monitored over fears of an outbreak.
“Fatalities from pneumonic plague drop to around 17 percent if treated with antibiotics within the first 24 hours of infection.
However, the disease is almost always fatal if left untreated.”
So why wasn’t she treated immediately with antibiotic?
If it were Biden he’d immediately have them brought here,
then shut down all midterm voting to mail in. So the Dems could pull of some kind of win/cheat.
With all the fake stuff about bio labs for the last few years, I’m surprised that it took this long for the real thing from Russia to get posted.
Russia is notorious for lax safety protocols for a reason.
This could get serious if it spreads since is seems to be airborne
“So why wasn’t she treated immediately with antibiotic?”
Most likely she wasn’t treated during the initial window when the plague is treatable. Had she admitted what she had done then they’d have quarantined her right away, thus ruining her careful travel plans. Also, it’s entirely possible that there are no appropriate antibiotics where she is. It probably isn’t some ordinary antibiotic, or the research value would be low. Russia has been under sanctions for four years. Antibiotics is probably near the bottom of the smuggling list for the Russian government.
I’d trust them more than I trust the Indians or Chinese. That’s not saying much to be honest.
And where are those 200 and their families/friends?
“...according to news outlet Lyudi Baikala.”
There’s also this in the article:
*** Mikhail Favorov, a senior Russian epidemiologist, dismissed the broken test tube explanation, according to the Moscow Times.
Favorov said: ‘It’s laughable. Someone working at the Anti-Plague Institute in Irkutsk wears a protective anti-plague suit.
‘If you break a test tube, the likelihood of infection is actually very low. In short, it doesn’t matter to the general public – they’ll believe the “broken test tube” story.’ ***
Close contact.
She probably went to a Speed-Dating event. / twisted humor
So Russia is actively working on biological weapons. Hard to be on a moral high horse about after seeing what that ghoul Fauci was overseeing. Nevertheless, concerning.
What do you think he is suggesting?
A travel ban from Russia at the very least.

Protocol set in place by WHO in 2019-20 would be to flood the area in Russia with CCP loyalist peasants for a few weeks then fly them out all over the World.

I think I saw the movie ,it didn’t end well
Countdown to October surprise.
I don’t know. Just, as someone who used to work with pathogens (years and years ago, and not anything as dangerous as this, but still might’ve been a problem) I know that there are protocols, that must be followed to a T. You’re fully protected with gloves, masks, with outer gear on. Booties too. Breaking a test tube would be unusual, but not completely unheard of. Perhaps dropped, but then clean up protocols should’ve gone immediately in to practice. It would be cavalier to be nonchalant with an accident.
It does sound like he might be suggesting something nefarious, but I don’t know. She would’ve been very foolish to deviate from the protocols. Doesn’t make much sense to me.
