Researchers have defined a new personality construct to describe individuals who consistently see themselves as victims. The research, published in Personality and Individual Differences, defined Tendency for Interpersonal Victimhood, or TIV, as “an enduring feeling that the self is a victim across different kinds of interpersonal relationships.” Rahav Gabay of Israel’s School of Psychological Sciences and her team of researchers conducted a series of eight studies of Israeli adults to explore the validity of the personality trait. The initial studies showed that TIV possesses four dimensions: moral elitism, a lack of empathy, the need for recognition, and rumination. Two other...

We can, of course, cooperate with a China that is a partner or a friend. We can even cooperate with a China that is a competitor; all nations to some degree compete. The question is this: Is China merely just a competitor? Can we, for instance, cooperate with a China that is an opponent or an enemy? Multilateralism, the core ideology of the UN, is failing. Countries are bypassing the UN because they realize it cannot provide security. Countries are defending themselves. China's unrestricted warfare -- a term Beijing has been using for at least 21 years -- now includes...

.....We have gotten to the point that the political class (especially the Democrat Party) are blatantly attempting to steal a presidential election. The massive election fraud has been detailed in hundreds of lawsuit affidavits, sworn testimonies in state election fraud hearings, videos detailing the fraud, and expert statistical and other analyses (for example, here and here). The fraud is undeniable, but the Democrats, RINOs, and their media enablers completely ignore and refuse to investigate. Apparently, they all would be fine with using counterfeit money to purchase merchandise, too. Meanwhile, the courts refuse to hear Trump campaign lawsuits due to “process”...

Chinese Communist Party members have infiltrated both Pfizer and AstraZeneca, who are pioneering the COVID-19 vaccine effort. A leaked list of 1.95 million Chinese Communist Party members, containing apparently thousands of names of individuals living in the West and employed in government or top corporations, includes 123 names of individuals who work for pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and AstraZeneca. Both companies are currently engaged in the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination effort. As National File previously reported, a list of nearly 2 million CCP members was leaked to international media outlets in the United Kingdom, Australia, Belgium, and Sweden earlier this year. The...

White House staff members who work in close quarters with President Trump have been told they are scheduled to receive injections of the coronavirus vaccine soon, at a time when the first doses of the vaccine are being distributed only to high-risk health care workers, according to two sources familiar with the distribution plans. The goal of distributing the vaccine inside the West Wing is to prevent additional government officials from falling ill in the final weeks of the Trump administration. The hope is to eventually distribute the vaccine to everyone who works in the White House, but will begin...

Explanation: Where do Geminid meteors come from? In terms of location on the sky, as the featured image composite beautifully demonstrates, the sand-sized bits of rock that create the streaks of the Geminids meteor shower appear to flow out from the constellation of Gemini. In terms of parent body, Solar System trajectories point to the asteroid 3200 Phaethon -- but this results in a bit of a mystery since that unusual object appears mostly dormant. Perhaps, 3200 Phaethon undergoes greater dust-liberating events than we know. Over 50 meteors including a bright fireball were captured during the peak of the 2015...

Left-wing groups are scheming to bribe Georgians to vote in the January 5, 2021 runoff election with well over a hundred thousand dollars of free meals and other giveaways despite it being a clear violation of U.S. federal law. An email from Vote.org dated December 10, 2020 bragged that “food trucks will be parked in strategic locations across the state” [emphasis added] and requested donations to fund their “full Georgia food truck program [which] will cost $153,000 to supply and staff.” Although Vote.org laughably claims to be non-partisan, the organization states that the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Soros-funded...

Some years ago, the late Mort Shuman, a marvelous composer and one of the first generation of rock'n'roll songwriters, took me to lunch. Mort had written "Why Must I Be A Teenager In Love?" and "Can't Get Used To Losing You" and a bunch of stuff for Elvis, including "Mess O' Blues", "Suspicion" and "Viva Las Vegas". But, like most successful music biz types, he wanted to talk about what he was doing next. So, after the usual pleasantries, he slid across the table a script bearing the title Save The Last Dance For Me - after his Number One...

Fascism is most often described by leftist ideologues and talking heads as a philosophy attributed uniquely to the right of the political spectrum. They tend to claim that the inherent authoritarianism present in fascism is a foundational characteristic of mainstream right-wing thought. Not only is this misconception incorrect, but it’s dangerous; the inability to distinguish distinctive ideologies could lead to situations where true warning signs are missed. Many attribute the rise of fascism to Italy’s Mussolini. However, few know the name of the man Mussolini regarded as the father of fascism— Giovanni Gentile. Gentile was an Italian philosopher who was influenced...

A Northern Michigan judge has allowed Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to block the results of a forensic audit of Dominion machines in Antrim County, where thousands of votes for President Trump were flipped to Joe Biden. Chief Judge Kevin A. Elsenheimer last week issued an order granting a local man, William Baily, permission for a forensic examination of the county’s 22 Dominion tabulators. Bailey filed a complaint on Nov. 23, arguing that there was election fraud in the Republican-leaning Antrim County, along with a violation of the “purity of election clause.” A team...

LONDON — John le Carré, whose exquisitely nuanced, intricately plotted Cold War thrillers elevated the spy novel to high art by presenting both Western and Soviet spies as morally compromised cogs in a rotten system full of treachery, betrayal and personal tragedy, died on Saturday in Cornwall, England. He was 89.

It’s easy to find articles claiming that there was no election fraud, or that it was “not widespread,” or that it was not enough to “make a difference.” It is less easy to find some of the actual complaints and allegations, unfiltered and undistorted. Here is a (fairly) complete list of (some of) the most significant claims involving 2020 election miscounting, errors or fraud. Please note that this resource lists allegations. It is intended neither to validate nor disprove any particular claim. The information and links help provide counterpoints to widespread, one-sided media reporting so that you can research and make...

The first shipment of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine will touch down in New York by Monday — and healthcare workers could be getting their shots within hours of arrival. The Empire State is awaiting 170,000 doses — 72,000 of which will go to New York City — after the first shipments left a Pfizer facility in Michigan earlier Sunday. “Hope is on the way, and it’s departing from Kalamazoo, Michigan,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo tweeted along with a video of trucks leaving the warehouse.

Just like winning, in a landslide, by a record number of votes.” The post included the hashtags “#ByeDon” and “#YoureFired”. When Braden Holtby signed with the Vancouver Canucks, he knew he needed new gear for the occasion and, most importantly, a new mask. That meant turning to his long-time mask designer David Gunnarsson, who designs many masks for NHL players, including former Canucks Jacob Markstrom and Eddie Lack. The new mask design from Holtby and Gunnarsson sparked controversy, however, when Gunnarsson posted the mask on his Instagram. It was clearly inspired, if not directly copied from, Indigenous art of the northwest, but the Swedish Gunnarsson is not Indigenous.
