Rand Paul is at it again,” blared Politico on Thursday. “And his moves could force another brief government shutdown.” While Politico and other media outlets seemed to frame the Republican senator’s opposition to the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act as his typical libertarian rabble-rousing, most were missing his entire point as it relates to America’s actual national defense: Washington warmongers will advance the theory of an all-powerful executive branch when that theory helps promote war, and they will become strict constitutionalists who seek executive restraint whenever it does not. In explaining his opposition to the 2020 NDAA in its current...

In the summer of 1973, the junior senator from Delaware Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. visited Egypt and met with local officials – not the first tier ones: the highest-ranking among them were the country’s Minister of Propaganda, alongside Hassanein Heikal, editor of the semi-official daily Al-Ahram. Following his Cairo visit, Biden, who had just been elected the previous year, met in Israel with then Prime Minister Golda Meir and passed on the Egyptian disinformation. Biden told the Israeli prime minister that of all the Egyptian VIPs he had met, not one denied Israel’s absolute military superiority, and they all reassured...

I require some education about the US political system. Let us say that the Georgia electoral system is completely corrupt, which I know is a huge stretch at this point in time. (Sarc). If Kemp were to resign or get defeated in the next election and a new governor was elected and the Georgian residents didva cleaning of the legislation and put in honest politicians, (again sarc), can the new Governor and legislature recall it's Senators or is a state stuck with its choices until the next Senatorial and House elections?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Thursday urged Democrats to vote in Georgia, telling them if they turn out in Georgia they can push through liberal objectives such as a $15 minimum wage and expanded health care. “If we win these races in Georgia, we’ll be able to get people Covid relief without the funny business,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Instagram Live. ... Last year, the House passed a minimum wage of $15, more than double the current rate of $7.25, but it never made it through the Senate. President-elect Joe Biden has proposed increasing the minimum wage up to $15 by 2026.

U.S.—According to ultrasound technicians around the country, unborn babies are disguising themselves as death row inmates so that liberals will defend their right to live. The babies got the idea from how major media networks reliably frame their coverage of state executions of death row inmates, no matter the details of their depraved and demonic crimes they committed while they were alive and free. “If these people can get sympathy, surely we can,” signed one unborn fetus to its ultrasound technician while clad in gang attire and wielding a sharp knife. “Maybe we just weren’t doing enough heinous crimes against...

OSAMA Bin Laden’s right-hand man is back walking the streets of Britain after being released from a US jail — because he is too fat. The convicted terrorist, known as Bin Laden’s spokesman in Europe, was freed in New Jersey on Tuesday and flew into the UK yesterday. The dad of six, whose son is also an IS jihadi, has been reunited with wife Ragaa, 59, who lives in a £1million...

Nationals MP George Christensen has exclusively told Sky News about his campaign to have US President Donald Trump pardon WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange before he leaves the White House. Mr Assange is currently held in London’s Belmarsh prison, awaiting a decision on his extradition case related to the publication of confidential documents. Many believe his exposure of wrongdoing is not something he should face charges for. Mr Christensen has created a website which features a letter directed to President Trump and an e-petition which will be sent to the White House. “Julian Assange has been a target of the Democrats...

Washington (CNN) Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has invited former independent counsel Ken Starr and attorneys in key battleground states to testify at a controversial hearing next week where he plans to probe the 2020 election that President-elect Joe Biden won. The hearing, which has prompted sharp criticism from senators in both parties over concerns that Johnson is peddling in debunked conspiracy theories, is moving ahead despite calls from Democrats that he scrap it. And one Republican on his committee, Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, told CNN that he will "probably not" participate...

The federal government on Thursday night executed convicted murderer Brandon Bernard, ignoring calls for clemency from many — including Kim Kardashian. Bernard, 40, was put to death by lethal injection in Terre Haute, Indiana, for his role in a 1999 double murder on a Texas military base committed when he was 18 years old. His attorneys Thursday night had sought an 11th-hour stay of execution, which was denied by the US Supreme Court. “They killed Brandon. He was such a reformed person,” Kardashian tweeted. “So hopeful and positive until the end. More importantly he is sorry, so sorry for the...

As the coronavirus pandemic rages on, transportation officials around the world have been looking for ways to keep passengers and crew safe on board planes. The document, titled Technical Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Control for Airlines, Sixth Edition, contains advice about the best hygiene practices to carry out on aircraft and in airports. But one of those suggestions -- that personnel like flight attendants wear disposable diapers so they don't need to use the bathroom -- has raised...
