Two counties—Antrim in Michigan and Coffee in Georgia—have conducted forensic examinations of the Dominion voting machines used in the November election. Both have found anomalies in the machines. Antrim is the county where a "glitch" in the Dominion machine caused 6,000 votes cast for Trump to be credited to Biden. The forensic examination did not support the "glitch" theory. Attorney Matthew DePerno said "it appears to be more of a 'feature' of the machine than a 'glitch.' The lack of simple round numbers in the vote tallies suggest that there is an algorithm in the device that counts each vote...

A decision is likely before the end of the court's current term in June.

Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, said Friday on Newsmax TV’s “Stinchfield” that the president’s legal team will continue filing lawsuits even after the Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit by Texas, which was backed by 17 other states and 126 House Republicans, to overturn the election results in four swing states. Giuliani said, “The case wasn’t rejected on the merits, the case was rejected on standing. So the answer to that is to bring the case now to the district court by the president, by some of the electors, alleging some of the same facts where there would be standing...

Sixty-six million years ago, 70 percent of all species on land and in the seas, including the dinosaurs, suddenly went extinct, in the disastrous aftermath of the collision of a large asteroid or comet with the Earth. Subsequently, paleontologists discovered that such mass extinctions of marine life, in which up to 90 percent of species disappeared, were not random events, but seemed to come in a 26-million-year cycle. In their Historical Biology study, Rampino and co-authors Ken Caldeira of the Carnegie Institution for Science and Yuhong Zhu of NYU’s Center for Data Science, examined the record of mass extinctions of...
