All three of President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court appointees — Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett — joined Chief Justice John Roberts and the three liberal justices in declining to hear Texas v. Pennsylvania.
In a short order issued Friday, the Court declared that Texas lacked standing to bring its case against Pennsylvania and three other states whose election rules were changed outside their respective state legislatures, as the Constitution requires.

The three new Trump appointees voted with their liberal colleagues, whose votes were never in doubt. Roberts has lately moved toward the liberal camp, and voted accordingly. Ironically, only Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, both appointed by Trump’s Republican predecessors (George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, respectively), voted to hear the case. Four justices out of the nine would have had to agree to hear the case for it to have proceeded at the Supreme Court.

Honestly, would have looked better for Trump’s three if they formally recused themselves which is what they basically did anyway.

Yes, I feel really bad for our POTUS because we know they won’t stop trying to pound him into the ground and leave him with nothing as payback for his attempt to save our republic for We The People.

So if Trump does not get back in who will stand up for Kavanaugh when the left goes to impeach him? No one.
The left will go after him and he will be on his own.

I am.
I get the impression that Trump could declare whatever national status he wants to at this time, but most of the nations’ governors and big city mayors would not support or obey him. He is seen as a Lame Duck with a fast approaching due date.
There is much I don’t know or have forgotten about the structure of our government, but I do know that very few seated politicians are showing any support for Trump, in spite of it being a Stolen Election. Many GOP don’t really seem bothered by this at all. That is what’s stunning, ominous and discouraging.
I think it’s important to face reality - Biden will be president on Jan 20th. The SC was the last option. Now, it’s over.
It seemed like it was solid.
We were all ASSURED that if we picked from the list of APPROVED judges published by the “Conservative” Think Tank we would get strong Constitutional Conservatives dedicated to preserving the Constitution. Men and women of guts and principle. Well, those men and women who were highly recommended just sided with the Libs.
There job is not to help the President. Their job is to follow the Constitution.
Well good luck to those republicans getting voted back in 2 or 6 years from now. If Trump does not make it I am not voting anymore what is the point who knows maybe Biden will just do away with it all together. I do know I do not recognize Biden or Harris or Obama as my leaders. They can all go to hell and I hope they do soon.
I trust that Alito and Thomas are following the constitution.

POTUS should give Thomas an award of some type if possible. He really has been a towering figure of our times.

Turns out Kav was hand selected by A. Kennedy to be his replacement. Kennedy was the USSC Swinger Seat holder for quite a while.
The Bushies liked and promoted Kav too. [Don’t know how many guac bowls Kav has.]

It doesn’t matter how the wording was. On big issues the three newbie judges will rubber stamp Roberts and Roberts is on a mission to get rid of Trump.
