While there are real concerns about rising cases and hospitalizations, a national lockdown is a terrible idea, no matter how much money the government borrows to pay for it.In the United States, one size does not fit all, even during a pandemic. Yet some of Joe Biden’s coronavirus task force members have endorsed a national lockdown. While there are real concerns about rising cases and hospitalizations, a national lockdown is a terrible idea, no matter how much money the government borrows to pay for it. In fairness, “lockdown” is a slippery term. Even Sweden, which has been much-praised by those...

PADUCAH, KY—With Democrats proposing the mass cancellation of student debt, successful Americans around the country are really looking forward to paying taxes to relieve the debt of people who purchased expensive yet useless college degrees. One local plumbing contractor, Sam Caughorn, is really looking forward to paying the tab on his neighbor's $89,000 gender studies degree. "Listen, I'm just a plumber," he said. "I didn't go to college, but I work hard and support my family. I don't know about all that high-falutin gender stuff they teach in college, but I'm sure it must be important since it's so expensive!...

I know we expect this these days, however, the sweeping nature of it is stunning. Pure propaganda, posted by the normally-decent New York Post. See below: Note the techniques of character assassination: A photograph that was the single most denigrating they could find (a split-second when he opened his eyes wide, while he was sweating)A use of hyperbolic phrases: "Bizarre", noting that he sweats "profusely", again the use of the "false" qualifier on a strawman argument (that Biden did these crimes)A focus not on the substance of the press conference but on minutia meant to suppress the actual facts presented.This...

Rudy Giuliani and other lawyers representing President Donald Trump’s campaign outlined their case Thursday that the Nov. 3 presidential election was so deeply flawed in several key states that the results should be overturned in the president’s favor. Giuliani said there was a pattern to the alleged irregularities in key states that suggested, he said, a “plan from a centralized place” to commit voter fraud in cities controlled by Democrats. He said widespread adoption of vote-by-mail had allowed Democrats to take big-city corruption practices nationwide. “They picked the places where they could get away with it.” Here are the key...

[excerpt] "...while Black Lives Matter claim to oppose police abuse and racism around the world, the organization is simultaneously a great supporter of some of the world’s most brutal and repressive dictators. In particular, the founders of BLM have been staunch supporters and allies of the sanguinary Venezuela dictator Nicolas Maduro and of the Castro regime in Cuba. In December 2015 Black Lives Matter sent a delegation, headed by the organization’s co-founder, Opal Tometi, to act as observers during the Venezuelan Parliamentary elections of that year. The Maduro regime did not allow accreditation for observers from the Organization of American...

In a Senate hearing, Senator Kamala Harris demonstrated a twofold ploy of dishonesty while attempting to trap Judge (now Justice) Amy Coney Barrett in a trick question. See if you can quickly pick out the two ploys in the following short video clip: Barrett quickly caught the first ploy and responded masterfully. She responded that Harris had led with two easy questions THAT had obvious answers and then used them to falsely transition into a loaded question about climate change, which made the incorrect assumption that man-caused climate change is a settled fact. It was as incongruous as if Harris...

It unfortunately isn’t a surprise anymore when we hear big tech coming after conservative influencers and pundits. It seems pretty clear big tech has been bringing the pot up to a slow boil so the frog doesn’t notice it’s being cooked. But we get it, we get we’re being cooked. The latest ax to fall is on a big name now in the conservative media universe, Dan Bongino. As Legal Insurrection notes, Politico just ran a hit piece on him because he’s emerged as a powerful voice. But Politico falsely framed Bongino’s emergence to ‘conspiracy theories’ about the election. Bongino...
