Former National Security Council Ukraine expert Alexander Vindman called President Trump Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “useful idiot” in a new interview. “President Trump should be considered to be a useful idiot and a fellow traveler, which makes him an unwitting agent of Putin,” Vindman told The Atlantic's editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg. “They may or may not have dirt on him, but they don’t have to use it,” he said when asked if the Kremlin has material to blackmail Trump. “They have more effective and less risky ways to employ him. He has aspirations to be the kind of leader that Putin...

Your body will never be found!! Bang bang!” reads another sign, with many warning that the homeowners have stayed behind in areas that have seen mass evacuations.

by Joe Callen A federal appeals court ruled late Monday that the Trump administration may deport hundreds of thousands of illegal alienswho previously received temporary protected status for "humanitarian" reasons, in some cases decades past the event that spurred the temporary reprieves. The 2-1 ruling by a panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned an injunction protecting aliens from El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua and Sudan from being deported pending litigation. The Trump administration ended their protections, saying their home countries were now safe for them. The decision affects 300,000 non-citizens here illegally -- and a staggering 200,000 of...

Reports of orcas striking sailing boats in the Straits of Gibraltar have left sailors and scientists confused. Just what is causing such unusually aggressive behaviour? When nine killer whales surrounded the 46ft boat that Victoria Morris was crewing in Spain on the afternoon of 29 July, she was elated. The biology graduate taught sailing in New Zealand and is used to friendly orca encounters. But the atmosphere quickly changed when they started ramming the hull, spinning the boat 180 degrees, disabling the autohelm and engine. The 23-year-old watched broken bits of the rudder float off, leaving the four-person crew without...

Over the past few weeks, various species of migratory birds are dying in “unprecedented” numbers of unknown causes. And this growing number of birds in southern New Mexico that have mysteriously died have wildlife experts scratching their heads. “It is terribly frightening,” Desmond said. “We’ve never seen anything like this. … We’re losing probably hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of migratory birds.“ In August, large numbers of birds were found dead at White Sands Missile Range and at the White Sands National Monument in what was thought to be an isolated incident, Desmond said. After that, however, came reports...

Nearly 30 years ago, President Bill Clinton made a significant change to federal land management that created the conditions necessary for massive wildfires to consume portions of the West Coast, according to a fire expert who predicted the problem years ago. Shortly before leaving office in 2001, Clinton limited the ability of the United States Forest Service to thin out a dense thicket of foliage and downed trees on federal land to bring the West into a pristine state, Bob Zybach, an experienced forester with a Ph.D. in environmental science, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. The former president’s decision...

If you're a fan of time travel shows like Doctor Who, then you know it's entirely possible for one person to exist in two different timelines at the same time...theoretically. Recently, I suddenly realized that many of my friends are still existing in the fear/isolation Timeline I "Tardis-ed" out of back in March 2020. That makes me terribly sad. As someone who was raised in an Environment of Fear, I know how damaging it is. I hate what it did to me and what it's doing to my friends still living in the fear/isolation timeline for the best possible reasons:...

Need some advice and/or support. I have large residential property with a large, clear field where my septic lines feed. I’m thinking of writing a campaign support design with winter rye on the field, something like 10 ft high letters. “Trump 2020” or something like that. The field is accessible to the roadway (no fencing in my area) and so is my house. Am I inviting vandalism, or worse? It will be semi-permanent, so I don’t want to get in too deep. I’m brave, but not stupid.

At some point, people will get sick of this. Black Lives Matter activists occupied a Trader Joe’s in Seattle this week, claiming to be protesting “lack of access to grocery stores” and explaining to patrons “how capitalism exploits the working class.” That “capitalism” line is straight from Marxism. BLM founders do admit to being “trained Marxists.” Their training is trickling down. Yes, Karen*, it has. Socialism and communism exploit the working class and everyone else under their bootheel. Free speech, free press, and freedom of religion tend to die under socialism and communism. Gulags and concentration camps for punishing wrongthink...

Vatican City, Sep 14, 2020 / 08:00 am MT (CNA).- The Vatican expects to renew its interim deal with China on the appointment of bishops, as part of efforts to “normalize” the life of the Catholic Church in China, Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin said Monday. “With China, our current interest is to normalize the life of the Church as much as possible, to ensure that the Church can live a normal life, which for the Catholic Church is also to have relations with the Holy See and with the Pope,” Parolin said Sept. 14, according to Italian news...

Monday on CNN, former Obama administration Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson reacted to President Donald Trump telling journalist Bob Woodward there was “nothing more could have been done” with regards to the coronavirus pandemic. He also took a shot at Trump rallygoers for going maskless. Johnson said, “To say that nothing more could have been done is absurd. Put aside what he said to Bob Woodward in February and March. By mid-April, here in the Northeast in the New York and New Jersey area where I live, the densest part of the country, we knew how to flatten the...

The strange and often troubling story of Atchison County, COVID-19, and Benedictine College.Nearly 2,000 students at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, woke up on Thursday, September 3rd, to startling news: in less than twenty-four hours, all of them would be confined to their dorm rooms for at least the next two weeks. They would be allowed out of their rooms only three times a day to procure food. Any other movement outside of their individual rooms or, in some cases, suites, would be a violation of a county-imposed order that would go into effect that evening at midnight. Besides being...

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — The Khmer Rouge’s chief jailer, who admitted overseeing the torture and killings of as many as 16,000 Cambodians while running the regime’s most notorious prison, has died. Kaing Guek Eav, known as Duch, was 77 and had been serving a life prison term for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The communist Khmer Rouge regime that ruled Cambodia from 1975-79 was accused of genocide for causing the deaths of so many of their countrymen from executions, starvation and lack of medical care due to its radical policies. Only after neighboring Vietnam pushed the Khmer Rouge from...
