JOHNSON CITY, Tenn — On September 12, 2020, at 7:20 pm, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to the intersection of State of Franklin Rd and Spring St to a report of a protester being struck by a vehicle. The vehicle, reported by witnesses as a white Ford Expedition, had fled the scene.
