What do Covid-19 and Time Travel Have In Common? ;)
Lenora Thompson, Writer ^ | 9/14/2020 | Lenora Thompson

If you're a fan of time travel shows like Doctor Who, then you know it's entirely possible for one person to exist in two different timelines at the same time...theoretically.

Recently, I suddenly realized that many of my friends are still existing in the fear/isolation Timeline I "Tardis-ed" out of back in March 2020. That makes me terribly sad.

As someone who was raised in an Environment of Fear, I know how damaging it is. I hate what it did to me and what it's doing to my friends still living in the fear/isolation timeline for the best possible reasons: They love life and they love their families.

So here's my take on the whole "Covid Thing," a topic that's become so emotionally and politically loaded that only a foolish writer would "rush in where angels fear to tread."

But when has that ever stopped me!?!

Even before we knew much about Covid, I told Michael, "This is the new chicken pox of our time." By that I meant, we're all going to get it. Hopefully, it'll be a mild case, just enough for our bodies to build up a natural immunity. Pray God we don't end up like my High School teacher, Mr. Widger, who contracted chicken pox for the first time as an adult and nearly died.

Two weeks ago, my local rural newspaper ran a story about Covid obliquely referencing, "that weird sickness you remember having back in March." I had to chuckle because according to the personal experiences of many of my readers, they suffered from what they now realize was Covid as far back as Autumn of 2019.

My point is you may have already had it and not realized it. Your symptoms may have been non-existent or so mild that you chalked it up to a mild cold or the flu.

If so, that's a full year of cult-like fear, isolation and depression that our nation didn't have to undergo. So what was it really about?

I was the first person in my community to go shopping wearing a mask and gloves. While I picked up our monthly prescriptions at the pharmacy, I was subjected to the pharmacist loudly agreeing with another customer that "coronavirus is going to be a great, big nothingburger." At the time, their callousness angered me.

But now I've changed my tune because of the dirty little secrets that've come out since then. Unreliable tests. False positives. All deaths, including car accidents and George Floyd, being tallied in the Covid column. The CDC playing fast-and-loose with statistics. Dr. Fauci's hypocrisy. Nurses blowing the whistle and revealing that doctors turned the ventilators up so high, it was the doctor, not Covid, that killed patients too tranquilized to fight back. Medications like HCQ and others that work on Covid denied to the sick. The list of the chicanery just goes on and on.

"Conspiracy theories" you say? If they're true, calling them "Conspiracy Theory" does not make them less true. If just means that, like me eight years ago, you haven't been Red Pilled yet and the truth hurts.

Turns out, Covid is a billion dollar business. We have witnessed the birth of a new industry. "Follow the money trail." Turns out, hospitals are paid boo koo bucks for Covid. There is money to be made in fear, illness, hand sanitizer, masks and death. There is no money to be made from courage and health.

But it was when Minnesota's Governor Walz, of "rock and cow" infamy, handed down the Minnesota Mask Mandate, with more exceptions and holes than a cheap mask, that something went click in my brain. What next? An armband? Yellow Star of David? A burqa? The "blue overalls" of George Orwell's 1984?

Oh, I know I'm reasoning from apples-to-oranges but that's my line in the sand. You do not get to tell me what to wear on my body. This is me finally taking my little courage in both trembling hands and saying, "No!"

Technically, as I always shop alone, according to this illogical and illegal mandate, I don't have to wear a mask. By wearing a mask I would actually be breaking Minnesota Statue 609.735: "A person whose identity is concealed by the person in a public place by means of a robe, mask, or other disguise, unless based on religious beliefs, or incidental to amusement, entertainment, protection from weather, or medical treatment, is guilty of a misdemeanor." If you're not sick and being treated, you're breaking the law by following the mandate. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

"But science, Lenora," I hear you say. "What about science!?!"

I have as much respect for true experimentation-based science as the next person, but what we've seen this year is what I've observed about statistics for many years. Scientists are people too. The results can be swayed to whatever conclusion depending on who's funding and conducting the study. Plus, we just haven't had enough time to research this thing properly.

What we have seen is a brilliant sociological study. How fast can the protection of normalcy be jettisoned? Can we bribe human beings to narc on their neighbors? How fast can they be brainwashed? How quickly can they be divided by six feet (when a sneeze travels far further)? Can we get them to fight over a piece of fabric? Which ones will comply? Will the Great Culling work? Can we actually pull off that Georgia Guidestones thing? How far can we push Americans until they say, "Aw, hells no." Hey! This 1984 thing works.

As I close, I know many of you are determined to continue isolating, waiting for that Silver Bullet, the promised vaccine. I have three words for you: Gulf War Illness.

In the 1990s, as our country prepared for war with Iraq, it rushed several vaccines (including anthrax) into production. Our Men and Women in uniform were the Trial Group. They had no choice.

Whether deployed overseas or not, today they are suffering and dying from horrific physical symptoms and autoimmune diseases ranging from brain deterioration to heart disease, from rheumatoid arthritis to mysterious rashes, from Level 10+ chronic pain to their bodies emitting a chemical insecticide odor that never washes off and stains their clothing black. Sometimes their children exhibit the same GWI symptoms. We all know the rushed vaccines were the cause whether the government admits it or not.

If you're still in the fear and isolation timeline, my heart goes out to you. I'm just not sure it's actually keeping you safe. Fear and isolation weaken the immune system. I lived that as a little girl who was pretty isolated and then always got sick after being exposed to people. Things got better after I was out in public constantly. Now...can't remember the last time I was sick.

Sometimes you just gotta say, "Screw this! I'm gonna live-live-live," jump in your Tardis and fly over to the Normalcy timeline. Life is pretty darn good over here just as it always was!

Not playing along.

I do say, the war on HCQ/zinc has killed 191,000 people.

I see a few faces out there, who are not afraid, and dare to show it. I think over time it will be more. What are people going to do when they realize no one had to die?

Any business that insists on the mask I avoid. I know the stores that don’t insist, and they get my business.

I'm just not sure it's actually keeping you safe.

I'm positive it isn't. In fact it is causing those who live in fear more damage than they can even imagine. Get back to life as normal. Excellent post I might add. Welcome to FR. 8>)

Thank you, Robert! I was raised in an environment of fear and I’ll never go back to that situation. Thank you for your kind words. So glad to be here!

Thank you, El Cid! I have to chuckle at your choice of the word “essay.” My father despaired of teaching me to write in homeschool and once threw all my essays across the room in a rage. Feels good to, um, make it as a writer in spite of all that writing baggage. :)

So true! It was the isolation, not the virus, that contributed to my grandmother’s death last month at the age of 92. She was old but hearty in 2019 and, I dunno, maybe she gave up all alone in that room. :(

Damn straight!!! I notice that even the clerks are not wearing masks anymore, especially the ones who wear glasses. So far, no one has harrassed me about not wearing a mask.

Your were raised in a environment of fear?

My generation was fed upon the upcoming Ice Age which we blew off as BS.

How about the poor Generation X? Named because the Mayan Calander said the World would end as they came of age?

What was your "Fear"?

Do you have the Small Pox scar on your left arm?

My family made up their own paranoias from scratch! :D The final one was a fear of bedbugs...which we did NOT have. All kinds of protocols for not catching bedbugs were put in place...which only seemed to affect me. Not anyone else in the family. The coup de grace was when Mom put the library books in the dryer to kill potential bed bug eggs. Guess what happened to the books? Oh yeah, the glue melted and they fell apart. Duh! LOL

Your Mom should have microwaved the books instead.

When your friend(s) said they had cooties, you should have not slept over at their house.

You sound like a Gen X.

LOL. Good idea...if she’d allowed a microwave in the house. :) (That came later.) No parties, no sleepovers, no friends. Oh well. I was born in 1980. Is that Gen X? I’m never sure. We’re kind of the forgotten generation.

I agree with all you write about the chicanery, the lies, the BS, the murder.

But I had it. I couldn’t get HCQ protocol for almost 6 days. I wound up in an ER for 8 hours with covid pneumonia, but luckily came home and “recovered” a week later.

Now I am exhausted all the time. And there’s hints that people are getting re-infected. I don’t want to play the Govt’s game, but I don’t want to die of this Chinese BS because other people wouldn’t wash their hands etc..
