Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden is expanding his staff by 13 members in Texas, a historically red state where Republican candidates often have an advantage. The Democrat nominee’s latest hires include Texas’s most experienced Democrat political operatives, the Texas Tribune reported. They include Dallas Jones, a Houston political consultant who was hired as Biden’s political director, and Jerry Philips and Jackie Uresti, who will serve as advisers to the campaign in Texas.

Like many others, I was at first bemused then appalled at the reaction of so many about the sexual exploitation of girls in the Netflix film, "Cuties.” These liberals and leftists know better. After dealing for years with the Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein sexual abuse horrors, one would think most thinking people would have the courage to say enough is enough. At first, the outrage was about the poster that Netflix designed to promote the film. Under fire, Netflix apologized for the image, displaying the four 11-year-old girls featured in the film in sexually suggestive poses while wearing costumes...

"Cuties" director Maïmouna Doucoure defended her film amid criticism it hyper-sexualized young girls. While participating in a panel at the Toronto Film Festival on French filmmakers Monday, Doucoure said the indie film was a social commentary on how young girls are treated, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "It's because I saw so many things and so many issues around me lived by young girls, that I decided to make this film and sound an alarm and say we need to protect our children," Doucoure explained.

A new letter bearing the names of 235 retired U.S. military leaders supports President Trump in what is described as arguably "the most important election since our country was founded." Retired Army and Air Force generals and Navy admirals were among those who signed the letter, which was released by the Trump campaign Monday. The former leaders warned against the dangers currently facing the nation, and claimed that President Trump is better equipped to handle them than his Democratic opponent. "As senior leaders of America's military, we took an oath to defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and...

EXCLUSIVE: The Trump campaign is set to release a mid-eight-figure ad buy Tuesday touting the economy during President Trump's first term after a recent emphasis on "law and order" messaging, saying the economy is the "defining issue" of the 2020 presidential race, Fox News has learned. A senior Trump campaign official told Fox News that the buy, worth more than $10 million, is an increase to the campaign's existing television ad buy by more than 50%. The official told Fox News that the new round of ads will include one national cable buy, as well as local broadcast buys in...

We already have an inside look at what it would be like if social workers showed up at police calls. It's called CPS (Child Protective Services). Most CPS caseworkers don't investigate REAL child abuse because it's far too dangerous and politically incorrect. Instead CPS is merely a tool for divorced soccer moms to persecute their ex spouses (fathers) while on visitation with their children. How many times have you read an article about ACTUAL child abuse and how it is too late because the child is dead. Then it comes out that CPS had been called many times but nothing...

Japan's ruling party on Monday elected chief cabinet secretary Yoshihide Suga as its new leader, making him all but certain to replace Shinzo Abe as the country's next prime minister. Suga easily won the ballot, taking 377 of a total of 534 valid votes from Liberal Democratic Party lawmakers and regional representatives. His rivals, former defence minister Shigeru Ishiba and LDP policy chief Fumio Kishida, trailed far behind. Given the LDP's legislative majority, Suga is expected to handily win a parliamentary vote Wednesday and become prime minister, taking over from Abe, who is resigning for health reasons. A powerful government...

Just another weekend in America: A black man walks up to a police cruiser and shoots two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies. Both, as I write, are alive but in very serious condition. If they survive, they will live with their wounds for what remains of their days. It is small consolation that even in Compton the number of persons willing to commit cold-blooded murder in broad daylight is relatively small. It is rather more disturbing to contemplate the huge mass of people willing to gloat and feast on the blood. Here is a chap called "beno_the great" rejoicing on...

Bands of armed Oregonians blocked roads and demanded identification from motorists after a small fire was ignited intentionally on Saturday, police said. Multnomah County Sheriff Mike Reese said the blaze was started by an illegal firework and was put out quickly, according to a Saturday tweet from the department. Oregon has been plagued by wildfires in recent days, as 22 people on the West Coast have lost their lives and large portions of the state were covered by an orange hue, ABC News reported. “We started receiving reports of local residents establishing roadblocks in East Multnomah County,” Reese said in...

TRAVELLING has reached an all-time low due to the pandemic as travel bans and quarantine restrictions are enforced. However, this hasn't stopped some of the stupidest tourists making idiots of themselves abroad in recent years - here are some of the worst behaved travelling, from statue-breakers to weapon-carrying-passengers. Breaks toe off 200-year-old sculpture during selfie The tourist, a 50-year-old man from Austria, had been leaning against the "Paolina Borghese Bonaparte as Venus Victrix" artwork at the Gypsotheca Antonio Canova museum in Possagno. But when he executed his plan - as seen on CCTV - he snapped off one of the...

It didn’t take long for billionaire and failed presidential candidate Tom Steyer to resume peddling his climate change nonsense. This comes after he spent over $341 million financing his own campaign. His new schtick? Selling the American people that the only way to stop West Coast wildfires is electing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Insufferable CNN anchor John Berman first allowed Steyer to drone on about his coinage of the term “climate fires.” Berman then pivoted to actually questioning how natural disasters will affect the November election if they happened in “states that mattered.” Berman asked during the September 14...

A SUNKEN ship has been found in almost perfect condition despite spending 400 years underwater. Divers made the mysterious discovery while exploring the Baltic Sea off the coast of Finland. The divers, from the non-profit Badewanne team, have come across shipwrecks before but never one as old and undamaged as the Dutch merchant vessel. The ship has been dated back to the 17th century. It dates back to a time when the Dutch Empire spanned five continents, becoming an economic superpower that was single-handedly responsible for half of Europe’s shipping by 1670. The ship is called a 'fluyt', a type...

“Settle For Biden.” That’s a new mantra from Democrats who just aren’t jazzed about the 77-year-old Democratic presidential candidate.

Fearing they will lose as their candidate’s polls sink and his cognitive abilities deteriorate before our eyes, Team Biden is assembling a war room of lawyers and Soros-backed local officials who will march before compliant judges in an attempt to duplicate the theft that in 2008 took a Minnesota Senate seat from a seemingly victorious Republican Norm Coleman and hand it to a seemingly defeated Al Franken. The chaos and fraud of universal mail-in ballots sent to dead people and dogs in jurisdictions where there are more people on the voting rolls than live there thanks to failure to purge...

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is pitching a documentary about a Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder, as part of her and Prince Harry's lucrative Netflix deal, it has been reported. Patrisse Cullors, one of the three individuals who founded the BLM movement, would be the target of the documentary that the Duchess of Sussex wants to produce. Cullors is said to have 'hugely inspired' Meghan, and she pitched the documentary to Netflix because she has been 'blown away by the incredible work Patrisse has done.

First, presidential candidates typically do better with Latino voters when they run as the incumbent. Second, many Latino voters don’t want to see anything approaching socialism in America Third, Latinos noticed how well the economy was doing under Trump before the pandemic hit. This reality surely disposed some of them to vote for Trump. What we don’t know is the extent to which they blame Trump for the devastation caused by the pandemic and/or the shutdowns. Finally, a fair number of Latinos may favor Trump’s tough stance against illegal immigration — not some of his rhetoric, but his policies. Latinos...

House Republican legislative leaders say “a return to normalcy might be on the horizon” after reviewing U.S. Western District Judge William Stickman IV’s ruling that found Gov. Tom Wolf’s restrictions imposed to control the spread of COVID-19 to be unconstitutional. In a ruling issued on Monday, the federal judge ruled Gov. Tom Wolf’s and Health Secretary Rachel Levine’s congregate gathering, stay-at-home and business shutdown orders violated the First and Fourteenth amendments. In their reaction, House Speaker Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster County, and House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff, R-Centre County, cited an excerpt from the judge’s opinion that highlight that a response...

Scripture in the order of the mass Nearly everything we say at mass has its roots in Sacred Scripture. This guide will help you if anyone you know is in doubt about that. Catholics quote scripture all the time, and their actions are deeply scriptural. After all, scripture flowed out of the early Church. The Church came first, the New Testament and the canon of scripture second. Greeting Priest: In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19)People: Amen (1 Chr 16:36)Priest: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the...
