Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden is expanding his staff by 13 members in Texas, a historically red state where Republican candidates often have an advantage.

The Democrat nominee’s latest hires include Texas’s most experienced Democrat political operatives, the Texas Tribune reported.

They include Dallas Jones, a Houston political consultant who was hired as Biden’s political director, and Jerry Philips and Jackie Uresti, who will serve as advisers to the campaign in Texas.

a beautiful flashpoint; if Sleepy doesn’t win everyone will point to this as a big fat waste of money. Hillary tried to run up the score too.

I've been hit with at least five text messages in the past two months here in Central Texas from various DEM groups, first asking if I was voting for Trump, then asking between Biden and Trump once Biden's nomination was official.

I've not responded back at all. Not point in giving them a future target.

Even if it’s possible for Biden to win Texas, that’s not money you want to spend on. Just like it’s possible for Trump to win Virginia but let’s not waste a cent there.

Old tactic. Put a couple of losers in a campaign office, announce to the compliant press that they’re there, and try to use it to entice fear or spending in a territory.

LOL!! We traveled through Texas Hill Country, this past weekend, back to SE TX....and did not see ONE Biden sign, or bumper sticker.

We saw TONS of Trump signs/stickers. And, YUGE signs, to boot!!

When 0bammy ran, we saw those idiotic stickers, and signs, quite often.

Of interesting note....Wendy “Abortion Barbie” Davis, has relocated to the Hill Country/Austin area and is running against Rep incumbent, Chip Roy.

Her signs only say “Wendy for Texas!”....no mention of her full name.

Hiring more staff in Texas.

Railing on environmental stuff of interest to Californians as if he thinks it’s in play.

His campaign is just a mess.

In our fairly new (2016-20) housing area in Central Texas north of Austin (about 120 houses), there are three Biden/Harris yard signs and two Trump/Pence yard signs. I want to puke.

Two of the signs, one from each camp, are right next door to each other a block over. That must make for fun neighbors.

Sounds like you chose the WRONG side of Austin ;-)

We were south of Austin, closer to San Antonio......TRUMP COUNTRY!!

Wasn't it just last week that Biden's campaign hired the same geniuses who advised ¡Yeb! on pissing away $150 million to get three delegates? Looks like they haven't lost their touch.

Hiden Biden is wasting his money.

Well, the Texas economy will take his money anyway.

We’re in Williamson County, which Trump won by almost 10% in 2016. Quite different from Travis County (Austin), which Hillary won 38%.

We have friends and family in Round Rock and other towns, in Williamson Cty.

Lots of newbies, there.

Hope they don’t change the make up, and that it can maintain that 2016 voting trend.

Travis County is lost, due to Austin.
