Patrick Rooney, Founder of Old School™ (Natural Health / Success / Freedom) discusses Joe Biden's precarious situation and possible "solutions." Now that Joe has been creditably accused of sexual assault by Tara Reade, all bets are off regarding Joe's chances to secure the Democrat nomination for President. On April 16, authorities arrested 36-year-old Galen Wood, owner of Kitchen Table Games in Pinellas Park, FL for operating a “non-essential” business and violating a safer at home order. Wood was charged with operating a non-essential business and traveling to operate a non-essential business. Wood was issued a warning on each occasion, before deputies conducted a non-essential business compliance check at his store on April 16. Wood refused to close the store and was arrested shortly after. Wood is the first Florida business owner to be arrested under such orders. Today, State Representative Anthony Sabatini announced on Twitter that the...

Former navy chaplain speaks outDETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - A former Catholic chaplain turned whistleblower is decrying the pattern of gay-friendly bishops who are persecuting straight priests under their authority. Gene Gomulka, who blew the whistle on his former ecclesiastical superior Cdl. Edwin O'Brien for covering up homosexual abuse in the military, told Church Militant that straight priests can expect persecution. He cited recent cases including Fr. Eduard Perrone under Detroit archbishop Allen Vigneron, Fr. Paul Kalchik under Chicago cardinal Blase Cupich and Fr. Mark White under Bp. Barry Knestout in Richmond, Virginia. "With Vigneron who is trying to get rid of...

Kansas City, Missouri, officials are now requiring every church to submit a list of members and attendees along with their names, addresses and telephone numbers to city officials for tracking and surveillance purposes.I am running out of adjectives to describe how completely insane the tyrannical abuses launched by state governors and local officials against pastors and churches are becoming. It is as if these leaders never bothered to so much as glance at the Constitution they swore to uphold and defend. They seem to be governing from some make-believe, dystopian viewpoint. Yesterday, we received a desperate call from a Kansas...

Following a police investigation, 20 people, including a priest, will be charged with breaking the lockdown decree for allegedly attending a Church service in Erimi in the southwestern Limassol District on St. George’s Day, April 23. Police were tipped off that a service was being held at the Church of St. George on its patronal feast day and arrived to find 16 cars parked outside, reports in-cyprus. However, when the police entered the church, they found only the priest and two members of the public, who were charged that day. Tracing the license plates on the cars outside the church,...

Someone asked me the other day how I felt about the ‘meat shortage’. I told him that I hadn’t really seen it yet; but that except for hot dogs, hamburgers, bacon, and pedestrian ground-beef tacos, I’m not a big meat fan. In case we do see a shortage, there are lots of nice things you can make without meat, or to stretch what meat you do have. One of my favorite recipes for years has been Sarah Moulton’s Black Eye Pea Cakes with Salsa Mayonnaise, a surprising combination of flavors - and the ingredients for which have all been available...

Alberta’s United Conservative government has followed a California county and banned singing during live-streamed church services — which are restricted to fewer than 15 people.EDMONTON, Alberta, April 29, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — Alberta’s United Conservative government has followed a California county and banned singing during live-streamed church services — which are restricted to fewer than 15 people — allegedly to stop the spread of the coronavirus. “Any gatherings with fewer than 15 people must not include activities that could promote disease transmission,” reads a March 24 Alberta government advisory on restrictions on gatherings. “This includes singing, even at religious gatherings, as...

Governors across the nation have issued stay-at-home orders. Many have extended them once or twice. Some have even gone so far as to threaten to slap residents with fines. But what these governors are counting on is local police departments and sheriffs to enforce their orders. Sheriffs from around the country are standing up and refusing to enforce the orders because they believe them to be unconstitutional. Two Arizona Sheriffs – Doug Schuster of Mohave County and Mark Lamb of Pinal County – said they will not enforce Gov. Doug Ducey's (R) stay-at-home order. Both Schuster and Lamb agreed to...

President Trump on Thursday renewed threats to slap new tariffs on Chinese goods as retaliation for China’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak... Trump’s tariff threat triggered a selloff on Wall Street. By market close on Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had fallen 622 points. In an interview on Friday, top White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said the U.S. would hold China “accountable” for the virus. “On the China business, it’s up in the air. They are going to be held accountable for it. There’s no question about that. How, when, where and why — I’m going to leave...

The Chinese COVID virus has turned our country upside down. The unconstitutional lockdown is nothing more than martial law foisted upon us by the elitists and "experts" who pushed forth such outrageous numbers as to place fear into the American people. Using those who are elderly, infirm, or have conditions which can exacerbate the virus as unwilling hostages, the government on both a federal and local level has ignored the constitutional rights of the citizens The total lockdown of both the economic and social areas of society has done nothing more that extend the period where the virus can spread....

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Thousands of Spaniards woke early and laced up their sports shoes Saturday after a prohibition on outdoor exercise during the coronavirus pandemic ended after seven weeks. Morning people dressed in athletic wear poured into the streets at 6 a.m. to run, bike, and speed walk, with many taking extra care to loosen up atrophied muscles so a twisted ankle or pulled hamstring wouldn't spoil the rush of release. A few tried running with face masks despite the added difficulty breathing. Masks will be required on public transportation starting Monday to prevent infections from the virus that...

A team of scientists, government officials, military agencies, and private companies were reportedly given a blank check by President Donald Trump for coronavirus vaccine development under the "Operation Warp Speed" program... The goal of Operation Warp Speed is to deliver 300 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from November to December 2020 and another 300 million by January 2021. There has never been a precedent for developing a vaccine at such a rapid pace... It comes as Trump's medical advisers, including infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, said that a coronavirus vaccine would not be viable in at least 12 to...

Along with my good friend Gemma O’Doherty, I have launched a constitutional challenge to Ireland’s COVID-19 lockdown measures, which the Irish government introduced three weeks ago. O’Doherty and I seek a judicial review of the enabling legislation and regulations, and an injunction or declaration to bring it all to an end. In Ireland, as in many countries, we are rapidly discovering that we have been misled, that the COVID-19 pandemic is not remotely as serious as our leaders, with attendant “experts,” have been enjoining us to accept. Yet politicians and experts have cratered the economies of the world, placed the...

The Wuhan epidemic has exposed a rift between the academic medicine types who dominate the Centers for Disease Control and similar agencies in the states and practicing physicians who are actually treating COVID patients. The former have generally been unhelpful; CDC in particular has performed poorly. Meanwhile, doctors on the front line have developed effective treatment regimens for the virus–regimens which apparently would save many lives if they were broadly publicized and implemented. [I]t is the severe inflammation sparked by the Coronavirus, not the virus itself, that kills patients. Inflammation causes a new variety of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS),...

Former President George W. Bush called on all Americans to recognize their common humanity and help one another during the current coronavirus pandemic. "Let us remember how small our differences are in the face of this shared threat," the former president said in a video posted Saturday. "In the final analysis, we are not partisan combatants -- we are human beings, equally vulnerable and equally wonderful in the sight of God. We rise or fall together and we are determined to rise. God bless you all." Released by the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the video included Bush's audio against...

CONCRETE LOVE Our Daily BreadJuly 28, 1998 "Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:3 The story is told of a child psychologist who spent many hours constructing a new driveway at his home. Just after he smoothed the surface of the freshly poured concrete, his small children chased a ball across the driveway, leaving deep footprints. The man yelled after them with a torrent of angry words. His shocked wife said, "You're a...
