President Trump announced Tuesday that he was immediately suspending funding to the World Health Organization (WHO). The State Department was otherwise poised to hand over to the WHO $893 million over the next two years. The President’s move came in response to the actions of the WHO and particularly its Director, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, in defending China’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Estimates are that 95% of the deaths worldwide from the ongoing pandemic could have been avoided had Chinese authorities not lied about the scope of the outbreak and had instead warned the world of the scope of the...

President Trump provided facts and context to reporters in the White House briefing room Monday. Mainstream news networks could not bring themselves to look. The media is anxiously rewriting history to blame the president for a pandemic borne out of a communist regime’s coverup. “He could have seen what was coming,” the New York Times now claims, in a report that argues the economy should have been closed back in February. Back when Nancy Pelosi said, “come to Chinatown”? When the New York Times called travel restrictions and quarantines “draconian”? When the Times attacked President Trump, during a pandemic,...

Queen Margrethe of Denmark turns 80 today, and to commemorate the occasion she gave an interview that appeared in the newspaper Politiken on Saturday. The conversation was wide-ranging, but the part that made headlines throughout Scandinavia was her admission that while she considers climate change an important issue, she’s not personally panicked about it, and that while she’s aware that climate does change – “it has changed and is changing all the time” – she’s not certain whether humans directly influence those changes. Let it be emphasized here that this is one queen who actually knows something about these matters:...

Some Democrats are hoping to push forward with the party's convention in-person this summer to give their candidates the best possible start to the fall fights over Congress and the White House. The novel coronavirus pandemic has shrouded the 2020 Democratic National Convention, originally expected to draw 50,000 attendees to Milwaukee in August, with uncertainty thanks to prevailing guidance to avoid large crowds to stop the spread of the COVID-19 disease. The host body also announced Thursday it was reassigning some employees and firing others amid the outbreak. Many Democratic National Committee members told the Washington Examiner this week they...

A Brooklyn man suspected of butchering his father walked into a bagel shop near the grisly crime scene and claimed he not only killed his dad — but also devoured parts of his body, police sources told The Post on Thursday. Khaled Ahmad allegedly walked into Park Bagels drenched in blood Wednesday, ranting to a clerk about the murder, a high-ranking police source said. “One of the store’s owners alerted the officer who was outside that it appears his partner was having an interaction with a person that they know is a regular and is crazy,” according to the source....

For many on the LGBT left, stemming from the left more broadly, mocking and attacking Christians seems to be the only thing giving them a sense of purpose during the COVID-19 crisis. While it is normal to see headlines from major LGBT sites blasting Christian leaders and denouncing the “anti-LGBT” religious right, April has been particularly inundated with such articles, especially on the most-followed LGBT news site, LGBTQ Nation. With its 1.5 million followers on Facebook and 163,000 followers on Twitter, LGBTQ Nation holds a great deal of influence among its readers. Here are four of its headlines in the...

Patrick Rooney, Founder of Old School™ (Natural Health / Success / Freedom) discusses what those who are paying attention already know: China is at war with us, and has been for some time. The reality came into sharper focus yesterday with Fox News's report that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) was very possibly created in a lab in Wuhan, China, and therefore the origin of the pandemic was NOT the Wuhan seafood market as widely reported. Whether China had an accident handling deadly virus, or whether they released it as a bio weapon, either way, questions are being asked or should be...

[Barf Alert] Silence over Easter police raids captures ‘through the looking glass’ moment Up and down Italy over the Easter weekend, police entered churches and broke up services, issuing citations and fines to those taking part, in several instances including the parish priest. Yet not only has there been no howl of protest from the country’s Catholic leadership, almost uniformly bishops have sided with the authorities. ROME - In Catholic terms, perhaps nothing captures the “through the looking glass” dynamic of the coronavirus pandemic like this: Up and down Italy over Easter weekend, police entered churches and broke up services...

San Francisco used to be a beautiful place to visit or even live. Democrats have run the state into a shit hole status! Fentanyl and Heroin abuse, the numbers are frightening, but let’s worry about illegal immigrants. While our mainstream media is focused on the “China” virus Pelosi’s San Francisco is going down. The streets of San Francisco look like a scene from the zombie movie the Walking Dead. The situation was serious in San Francisco already but now it seems that things have got out of control with the COVID 19 lockdown. WASHINGTON - New White House guidelines outline a phased approach to restoring normal commerce and services, but only for places with strong testing and seeing a decrease in COVID-19 cases. President Donald Trump unveiled his administration’s plans to ease social distancing requirements on a call Thursday with the nation’s governors. The new guidelines are aimed at clearing the way for an easing of restrictions in areas with low transmission of the coronavirus, while keeping them in place in harder-hit locations. Places with declining infections and strong testing would begin a three-phased gradual reopening of businesses and schools, with each phase...

NEW YORK - If you got your stimulus payment this week from the IRS and it is still in your account, are you afraid to spend it? Some did not even have the deposit register before it was swept away to cover overdrafts, unless they use a bank which pledged not to do this. The Senate scheduled another two weeks of pro forma sessions Thursday, just a day after President Trump demanded senators either return to town or adjourn. The Senate is now slated to meet roughly every three days until May 4, when senators are expected to return to Washington. Initially, the Senate had planned on recessing through Friday, with lawmakers returning on Monday. But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced Wednesday that he was extending the recess in consultation with medical professionals and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.). “As the country continues working together to flatten the curve, following the...
