"I'm hoping Dr. Jill becomes the surgeon general," Whoopi Goldberg told her audience on "The View" just a month ago. "She's a hell of a doctor. She's an amazing doctor." Goldberg, who appeared to be wearing a white mop on her head, could almost be forgiven her ignorance. In propping up her senescent husband, Joe, the solicitous Dr. Biden gives off aggressive caregiver vibes. To further the confusion, Jill Biden relentlessly attributes to herself the status of "doctor." A quick Google search of "Dr. Jill Biden" nets more than 2 million hits. On Whitehouse.gov, Twitter , and Facebook, among others,...

As reporters looked on during a contentious White House briefing this week, President Trump stepped aside and played a brief video showing several media figures downplaying the coronavirus in January and February, including some personalities who now argue the president didn't act quickly enough. Looking back, members of both parties have mud on their face for past predictions and assessments. A timeline compiled by Fox News of coronavirus statements from journalists, world bodies, politicians and their senior advisers from January to March offers insights into how fluid and unclear the situation was. For example, Biden's top coronavirus adviser, Ron Klain,...

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday said he has extended the unemployment call center hours to help the record 2.7 million Californians who have filed claims and created a fund to help undocumented immigrants, who comprise 10% of the state's workforce. Undocumented immigrants will be eligible to tap into a $125 million relief fund as they navigate through the economic upheaval unleashed by coronavirus outbreak, Newsom announced. The $2 trillion federal stimulus package did not include aid to undocumented workers. ... But Newsom was steadfast in his support for the state's diverse workforce and that as a...

He intends to press charges. Ring surveillance video showed the couple driving up to the...

There are a lot of people on Wall Street and in Washington who see no problem with an America defined by big box stores and chain restaurants. California released a plan Tuesday to reopen businesses. One thing conspicuously missing from the governor’s slideshow was any sort of timeline, replaced instead by a six-point plan to remake society around fear of the coronavirus. Could be June, he said in a press conference, or even July or August. One thing conspicuously included was the observation that “things will look different,” including restaurants having to open “with fewer tables.” California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom...

Morning "The precious blood of Christ." 1 Peter 1:19 Standing at the foot of the cross, we see hands, and feet, and side, all distilling crimson streams of precious blood. It is "precious" because of its redeeming and atoning efficacy. By it the sins of Christ's people are atoned for; they are redeemed from under the law; they are reconciled to God, made one with him. Christ's blood is also "precious" in its cleansing power; it "cleanseth from all sin." "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." Through Jesus' blood there is not a...

A 99-year-old woman is on the road to recovery from the coronavirus after exercising the Right To Try Act and receiving hydroxychloroquine treatment, her family says. Doctors say Evelyn Rand is doing “outstanding” and has hope for a “full recovery” after being one of the first of 38 residents in her Little Rock, Arkansas, nursing home to be diagnosed with the coronavirus, according to THV 11 News. Rand’s family credits the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, which has been touted by President Trump to the dismay of many of his critics, as effective in helping her recover. "We did ask for them...

Thousands of protesters on foot and in vehicles converged Wednesday on Michigan’s capital to rally against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home orders in the state. “Operation Gridlock,” organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, created a huge bumper-to-bumper traffic jam around the Michigan Capitol Building in Lansing, Fox 2 Detroit reported. Meshawn Maddock, an organizer for the group, said the demonstrators include Republicans, Democrats, and independents. It seems that Michigan’s authorities are not impressed with the ongoing protests as Michigan judge has issued an order authorizing a county health officer and police to arrest and jail anyone they suspect of being sick...

This isn't a "bombshell" in the sense that it delivers stunning or shocking information. We already knew that China's government has been lying to the world for months about the Wuhan coronavirus, with their active cover-up alive and well -- very much unlike an unknown number of their citizens. Nevertheless, yesterday's Associated Press scoop, featuring information gleaned from leaked internal documents, is damning and remarkable for the timeline it exposes: Bombshell from @AP: internal Chinese documents show central govt held teleconference on Jan 14 with instructions from Xi on epidemic & acknowledged likely H2H transmission.China CDC and WHO publicly said...

WASHINGTON—Banking and financial services executives told President Trump that his administration needed to dramatically increase the availability of coronavirus testing before the public would be confident enough to return to work, eat at restaurants or shop in retail establishments, according to people familiar with the matter. The push for more testing came in the first of four Wednesday phone calls that Mr. Trump held with business executives on his newly formed task force to reopen the economy. The president has been intensely focused on the topic amid increasingly dire economic data; Wednesday brought reports that retail sales and U.S. industrial...

On April 9, right in the middle of New York’s epic battle against COVID-19, the state legislature passed, and Governor Cuomo signed, a bill that legalizes commercial surrogacy. As of February 15, 2021, residents of New York will be able to enter into legally enforceable surrogacy contracts. From the beginning to the end, this debate was never driven by any serious consideration of what’s good for women and children, but by “heartstrings rhetoric, celebrity endorsement,” and especially, gay-rights advocates. As I predicted, the final proposal lacked adequate and necessary safeguards against the exploitation and commodification of women’s bodies, or the...

When do the liberal media's unctuous interviews of Democrats stop being journalism and start constituting campaign contributions-in-kind? The question arises again today in the context of Morning Joe's interview of Joe Biden. Here's how Mika Brzezinski teased the upcoming "Special Report": We’ll be focusing on two key themes. The nation’s leading health experts answer your questions about the pandemic. And we’re drilling down on how the decisions our leaders make today will affect the country long into the future. Our special guests will include Joe and Jill Biden, Pete Buttigieg, and retired General Stanley McChrystal. And, Lady Gaga talking about...

The National Rifle Association has issued an alert that Democrats are using the worldwide coronavirus pandemic to push for more gun control. A bill introduced by U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., "would leave law-abiding Americans defenseless," the organization charged. "At a time when our nation struggles, everyone's first and foremost concern is the safety of themselves and their loved ones. However, this doesn't stop Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) from pushing a massive gun grab bill in the U.S. House of Representatives," the group said. The bill, H.R. 5717, the Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act, is nothing new, the...

Despite the warnings the US National Institute of Health (NIH) awarded a $3.7 million grant to the Wuhan lab studying the bat virus. The NIH gave MILLIONS to Chinese universities and laboratories over the past several years. Here are a few pages on NIH donations to Chinese universities.
