Despite the warnings the US National Institute of Health (NIH) awarded a $3.7 million grant to the Wuhan lab studying the bat virus. This was after State Department warned about the risky tests going on in the lab.
US taxpayers have been forking over millions to pay for research at Chinese universities and laboratories.
The NIH gave MILLIONS to Chinese universities and laboratories over the past several years.

Seems like the NIH is always squawking about being underfunded, especially when a Republican is in the White House.

Maybe we got defective N95 masks in exchange
They need to cut funding by 80% to all these government programs..
The only one the Military cut them by 20% and congress has no say in what they have to get..
They have no idea where most of the money goes...and when September comes they make sure they out of money by October first...and they need more the next year

In my dictionary, 'several' generally means somewhere between 2 and 5. All of these were much longer ago than that.
