Talk-show legend Rush Limbaugh is making an extraordinary offer to President Donald Trump, giving the commander in chief a chance to connect with even more Americans by taking over his top-rated radio program. "If the president wants to do this -- if he wants to come on and have a show -- we'll let him do it," Limbaugh said on his national broadcast Wednesday. "I'm here making it known -- and I will call later, too -- but I'm doing it here, making it known that this program is available to the president if he wants to audition, if he...

Maryville Baptist Church members have started receiving a letter from Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear requiring self-quarantine as a result of parking their cars in the church parking lot on Easter Sunday. Kentucky State Police troopers wrote down license plate numbers and placed notices on churchgoers’ cars in the church parking lot. Inside the church, the small number of people were seated more than six feet apart. The church also set up speakers outside for parking lot service. But those who wanted to stay in their cars to hear the message were intimidated by the police ticketing every car and some...

On this date in 1841, Peter Robinson hanged for a New Jersey murder. Little could he have imagined that he was on his way to the literary canon. A wealthy merchant and banker named Abraham Suydam had disappeared, and suspicion quickly settled on Robinson — one of his debtors, who suddenly seemed to be a little bit flush with cash and a timepiece too rich for his station in life... It is commonly thought — though there does not appear to be any direct evidence for it — that this nationally infamous body-under-the-floorboards murder helped to inspire Edgar Allan Poe‘s...

A group of North Carolina Christians filed a lawsuit against Greensboro authorities today after they were arrested for praying outside a local abortion clinic. Alliance Defending Freedom filed suit Tuesday against the city of Greensboro and Guilford County on behalf of pro-life North Carolina citizens whom police arrested for engaging in peaceful prayer outside an abortion facility. As ADF explained in a letter sent to the city on April 2, the arrests should not have occurred because the pro-life members of the Christian ministry Love Life were in compliance with a Guilford County emergency proclamation related to the coronavirus crisis....

President Trump took off Wednesday on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, inaccurately saying she invited people to “parties” in San Francisco’s Chinatown in late February after he had taken his first significant steps to try to limit the U.S. spread of the coronavirus. Trump said at his daily White House news briefing that after he barred travelers from China on Feb. 2 and set up screening rules for U.S. citizens returning from the country, “Nancy Pelosi was trying to have in San Francisco parties in Chinatown because she thought it would be great.” Trump was misleadingly describing a tour of Chinatown...

Abortion has come to a halt in South Dakota. As the COVID-19 pandemic imposes travel restrictions, the state’s only abortionist will be unable to travel from Minnesota to South Dakota’s only abortion business for the time being. However, due to the virus, the Planned Parenthood abortionist is currently unable to travel to the facility as usual on Mondays and Thursdays, according to the state’s 40 Days for...

A Long Island, N.Y., bicyclist has filed a police report after getting into a testy exchange with CNN anchor Chris Cuomo in front of a Hamptons home on Easter Sunday, according to a New York Post report. The reported filing with the East Hampton Police Department came after Cuomo shared a story on his SiriusXM radio show on Monday about a "jackass, loser biker" who got in his "space" because he was in the front yard with two women and three children at the home, which is still under construction. The bicyclist told the Post that Cuomo had purchased the...

[Catholic Caucus] Cardinal Screams Like a Demon "In emergencies, I have no objection to confession by video," an ignorant Leiria-Fátima Cardinal António Marto told ReligionDigital.org (April 14) although such confessions are invalid whether Marto "allows" them or not.Marto claimed that "the Holy Spirit" allegedly "also acts in this way." However, he finds video-confessions "unnecessary" since Francis said that "it is possible to ‘confess’ directly to God" with the purpose of confessing "when possible."Like a demon, Marto cried out against the understanding of the coronavirus as God’s punishment, calling this “ignorance," "sectarian fanaticism," "madness," and "not Christian.”

DALLAS — What happened at a Galveston County nursing home over the last week was one of the first big tests of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 patients in Texas. “I thought the risk of seeing 15% of that nursing home die was just not an acceptable,” said Dr. Robin Armstrong, MD, medical director at The Resort at Texas City. Fifty-six residents at this senior facility in Galveston County contracted the novel coronavirus. Dr. Robin Armstrong said 39 of them gave him permission to treat them with hydroxychloroquine pills. “Most of the patients have done well. And, you know, and I...

Republicans in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed a bill on Tuesday that would lift certain coronavirus mitigation measures in an effort to boost the state's economy, sparking intense blowback from Democrats who decried the health risks. The state legislature passed the bill, Senate Bill 613, 108 to 94 on Tuesday. It was opposed by all Democrats in the chamber, as well as a few Republicans. Phoenixville area State Rep. A drug that’s been touted by President Donald Trump as a “game changer” didn’t help hospitalized patients with coronavirus and was associated with heart complications, according to a new study. “This provides evidence that hydroxychloroquine does not apparently treat patients with Covid 19,” said Dr. Paul Offit, an infectious disease specialist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. “Even worse, there were side effects caused by the drug — heart toxicities that required it be discontinued.” Trump has said that hydroxychloroquine shows “tremendous promise” and has made it sound like the drug is harmless. “I think it’s going to be great,” Trump...

Protestors disrupted Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear’s (D) coronavirus briefing Wednesday, chanting for the governor to “open up Kentucky.” About 100 people had gathered on the lawn of the State Capitol by the time Beshear spoke, and could be heard throughout the governor’s televised briefing, the Courier Journal reports. Beshear acknowledged the protesters about halfway through his hour-long briefing, but said he would not be adhering to the demands to reopen the state economy, which he said would lead to more fatalities. "We do have some folks up in here in Kentucky today — and everybody should be able to express...

Which of these two famous guys more likely committed the sexual assault he has been accused of? A) Brett Kavanaugh. B) Joe Biden. The answer is obvious, which is why Sleepy Joe has just picked up two very tepid endorsements, one from 78-year-old millionaire socialist Bernie Sanders, and the second from the other half of what Joe calls “the O’Biden-Bama administration.” On his latest podcast, Sleepy Joe modestly introduced himself: “Well, the uh look um uh you know uh uh with uh the fact is that uh there’s a lot going on I don’t know where to begin but uh...

Six days? The cover-up of the Wuhan Flu and its pandemic potential went on for much longer than six days, but the Associated Press highlights the final six days of Beijing’s initial campaign of lies and denial over COVID-19. Even though they knew that community transmission had turned the infection into a wildfire, China allowed Wuhan to host a party for “tens of thousands,” while watching millions transit to celebrate New Year. In the six days after top Chinese officials secretly determined they likely were facing a pandemic from a new coronavirus, the city of Wuhan at the epicenter of...
