Marto claimed that "the Holy Spirit" allegedly "also acts in this way." However, he finds video-confessions "unnecessary" since Francis said that "it is possible to ‘confess’ directly to God" with the purpose of confessing "when possible."
Like a demon, Marto cried out against the understanding of the coronavirus as God’s punishment, calling this “ignorance," "sectarian fanaticism," "madness," and "not Christian.”

That’s as bad as yahoo journalism.
Of course the virus wasnt God’s punishment. It was a virus. everything is a result of God’s creation but to call one virus out of so so many a punishment is ridiculous.
The punishment for evil is pretty brutal and it is permanent after we die.
those who deem every natural event punishment from God are a few cards short of a full deck.
And of course you can ask for God’s forgiveness directly. If you are in your last minutes dying and there is not a priest around it’s quite a good idea actually.

I think it was a god shot across the bow at blue states and the demonic controlled democrat cities.
I think we will see self inflicted harm fall on the proud and rebellious blue states along with their sanctuary (blasphemy of course, there is nothing sacred about them) cities.
God uses bad things to punish those who do wickedness. It’s not all just us. We share a role in our own level of chastening.
Whom the lord loves he chastens and scourges every son that he receives. I did not say that, the bible... whom many believe is the very word of God... says that.
I am sure that there are folks who don’t beleive that God punished sodom and gomorrah... even when scripture tells the story clear. he USED fire and brimstone on them.
He can judge one here on this corner and let the others completely escape for reasons he may or may not share with us.
9-11 was a wake up call. Human pride is what stands against any indication that GOD is the Judge... always has been, always will be. Even of me. The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
Some believe that, others don’t. I tend to more to the believing that he IS judge. that a sparrow does not fall to the ground without his active participation... and that the hairs of our heads and the plans he has for our judgement, correction and in some cases removal... are all numbered, weighed and balanced.
